User talk:Tg016
Hi. I am a motorsports fanatic and a small time war history geek (love tanks). You will usually spot me making edits to the pages of various motorsports series and cars. I am a bit of a noob at article creation so would love to take advice from other folks.
Welcome

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:51, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
Mitch Guthrie moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Mitch Guthrie, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:03, 4 February 2023 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 9
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2023 Silverstone Formula 2 round, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Invicta and Jack Doohan. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 9 July 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Nice to have you on board, if you have any questions feel free to use {{ping}} to ping me or leave a message on my talk page. Cheers. X750. Spin a yarn? Articles I've screwed over? 09:36, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
Hello @X750:. I am still new to the world of article creation - though mostly have been making minor data record edits here and there. What's a small tag (and I didn't remove the conversions on the SC63 article). Cheers for the message. Haven't really talked to other editors on this platform itself. Sorry if there's a double ping.
Uh yeah I understood what small tags (and that also wasn't my addition).
- No worries. You did quite well with the infobox, so that's a good start. A small tag is this:<small>. It makes the text surrounding opening and closing tags smaller, like this. As a courtesy to the less visually privileged, we keep most things in regular size text. Don't worry about the conversions, I put them back in. In the world of racing cars, we have American and non-American racing series. Typically, for a NASCAR you'd use inches and convert it to millimetres for our non-American readers, and vice versa for a non-American race car. Also, for the ping template, you got my name and the template wrong way round, but that's no worries. Write it like {{ping|X750}}, substituting my username for anyone else's that you wish to communicate with. Also, sign your posts with four tidles (these thingies ~). Look forward to staying here, and again, if you're ever unsure, I'm always here to help. Cheerio. X750. Spin a yarn? Articles I've screwed over? 10:12, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
- I see you figured out the ping, you are a quick learner. May you do much good on this website. X750. Spin a yarn? Articles I've screwed over? 10:13, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
- Understood the conversion nuance. Cheers @X750 Tg016 (talk) 10:16, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
- No worries, more than happy to help. If I am not available, there are venues such as Wikipedia:Help desk and Wikipedia:Teahouse where you can ask more experienced users questions. Wikipedia:Dispute resolution is a venue you may wish to utilise should you find yourself ingrained in a dispute with another user. Goodnight for now . X750. Spin a yarn?
