  • Regarding the school article above, I have some questions for you:
    • The references are all in plain links — are these sources offline or online? If there are any online please can you link them which will help with verification, also if they are possibly from Newspapers.com, can you link to this but to a clipping version which can be viewed freely (this may also be a good site to check for any offline ones)?
    • Two images of concern: 1. File:NPHS Front entrance.jpg is available on this page of the school's website 2. File:North Platte High School, 1930 building.jpg which I'm unable to find online via Google Images search, but did you take this picture? — Both have been uploaded to Wikimedia Commons as your "own work" (the second one was uploaded by TertiaryAdjunct0x, is this you?) Please explain. The other two seem fine as being in the public domain
If you are interested in expanding this article, please see the school article guidelines. Thanks, Steven (Editor) (talk) 23:28, 1 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your warm welcome, Steven (Editor). The two images you mention are my own work, one of which the district is using on its website with permission. The others are well into the public domain. Most of the newspapers involved do not have online archives, but I will try to find any authorized online versions. I have thoroughly read the school article guidelines but if there is something in particular you would like to point out, feel free to do so. Thanks again. --TertiaryAdjunct (talk) 00:07, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for replying and you're welcome. Good work on the additions to the article which was very much needed. I see, in that case, it may be a good idea to mention that in the description of the file in case any other editors have the same concern, and prevent the possibility of the image being tagged for speedy deletion. Nothing wrong with offline sources and more info here that is worth a read — if there are any available online linking to them would be good; Newspapers.com may have some of those sources, if you don't have access, see here and you can also post on its talk page where someone can provide assistance. Oh no no, I just did a cleanup on the article and had removed some of the unsourced content, just wanted to make sure you were aware of the guidelines in case you are interested in expanding it and the content that would be required, structure etc. Pleased to hear you have read it, all good Steven (Editor) (talk) 00:38, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Assistance

[edit]

Hello! I noticed you created the article North Platte Public Schools (Nebraska) and I would like your assistance in expanding it. I have no clue if you still look at Wikipedia or not but I"m going to ask here just in case you see this. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 16:36, 8 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Blaze The Wolf:, yes I do check the few pages I created or updated. My Wikipedia-fu is a bit rusty. I would definitely welcome help with this page! TertiaryAdjunct (talk) 15:12, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I was actually decently surprised by your reply as you hadn't made any edits in a year Sweet! I actually live in the area where both the High School and the school district is. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:45, 9 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Blaze The Wolf: I am in the area as well, I am also an alum of North Platte High School (Nebraska), hence why I focused more on that page as I was interested in the history behind it. TertiaryAdjunct (talk) 03:20, 10 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oh neat! It would be pretty neat if we met up to work on the article, but I'd prefer not to do that as I prefer to remain known under my online alias. But that actually really helps with improving the article as we can get similar info to improve it. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:42, 10 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
