Nominating articles for deletion
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your efforts to clean up Wikipedia by nominating articles for deletion. One suggestion: please include, in your deletion discussion, a comment that explains why you are nominating them. If you don't supply any reason, you may find that your nomination gets immediately dismissed for procedural reasons, as happened here. Some explanation by the nominator is required. It helps to frame the discussion, and it indicates that you did follow the steps suggested at WP:BEFORE - in deciding whether a subject is "not notable" or otherwise deserving of deletion. If you have any questions (I can see you are new to the deletion business), just ask, and I'll be glad to help you figure out how this place works! --MelanieN (talk) 16:04, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

Module Marketplace feedback.
Tentinator, I submitted the following as a reason to not speedily delete the "Module Marketplace" article. Thank you for your consideration.
This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it is the first industrial software based digital media store, similar in concept to: the iTunes Store or Google Play for the SCADA industry. Automation, Manufacturing and Leadership columnist Gary Mintchell called it, "a platform and business model worth watching" and described the company as "developing something disruptive that is going to revolutionize the industry" (http://www.garymintchellsfeedforward.com/feed-forward/2013/2/18/arc-forum-2013-first-community-based-industrial-automation-s.html) Dale Peterson of Digital Bond picked it up here: http://www.digitalbond.com/blog/2013/02/22/friday-news-notes-64/ Dave Greenfield of Automation world explains the significance as "Consumer technology driving Automation" with a comparison to the iTunes store. http://www.automationworld.com/consumer-technology-drives-automation

Hello,
First of all thank you for letting me know in advance about the flag for deletion. While I disagree with your provided argument (the subject of the page is not important enough) I wish to provide even more value to the page and convince even someone like you that the page is worth being saved on Wikipedia.org.
Since your deletion reason is rather subjective I need to know a little more about how you see things and how you would like to see a page about a news website in order to consider it worthy enough. Please don't tell me that because the site is not CNN or ABCNews it does not deserve to be listed on Wikipeda.

You are not barred from trying again, but I advise getting references that fit WP:RS, and would suggest keeping it in userspace (at User:Willferg1886/DRAFT) until you've got an opinion on it. Snowstorms in Europe causing widespread disruption
Hi! I would like to ask you about your detailed opinion regarding why you find a series of severe snowstorms causing widespread disruptions not notable enough for a general - online, not paper-based - encyclopedia? The series of possibly(?) related snowstorms have received very high media coverage in reliable sources, affected tens of thousands of people, caused governments to declare state of emergencies and to ask militaries and speciel forces to help out. The events aren't something mundane and won't happen everyday. The situation that emerged was clearly one-of-a-kind and nothing of a similar nature and magnitude happened for years if not decades in Europe. I have provided several reliable sources on the afd page. I'm awaiting your reply in the matter. Thanks, Rev L. Snowfox (talk) 14:41, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
- Click here + Click here. The "snowstorms" weren't a huge event in the United Kingdom (one of the countries you say was affected) and it is likely that this is the case for the other countries, except for Hungary. Maybe the snowstorms in just Hungary for this month should be written about. ♦ Tentinator ♦ 15:02, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
- I'm not knowledgeable about the situation in other countries, especially considering Russia and Western Europe, but as far as I know (from someone I know) people in France abandoned their cars on the highway. Probably it's true that the situation was the worst in Hungary, but since it seems the neighbouring snowfalls and emergency situations were all part of the same meteorological system (I'm not a meteorologist, so I don't know how should one differentiate storms which may or may not cross borders), it seems logical to talk about the Hungarian weather events in the larger framework of related European weather events. I mentioned the UK since it was mentioned by sources, but obviously I don't know much about the real situation there. In any case, Hungary declared a state of emergency and used military and anti-terrorism forces to help hundreds of stuck vehicles, many of which were stranded for more than 24 hours. At least this is notable with the current coverage and sources. -Rev L. Snowfox (talk) 15:16, 17 March 2013 (UTC)

ibus announcements
Hello i noticed that my edit of London's ibus announcements that points out that passengers have to hear a badly mispronounced announcement was removed. This may have seemed to be something that is not relevant but the inclusion of this comment was made because it is central to the issues of automated announcements. In natural speech the occasional mispronounced word is to be expected, but when one hears the recording once every few minutes for 45 minutes a day it becomes more and more noticeable. It is thus a problem that is innate in the system and therefore deserves to be mentioned. Hi. When you use the translate or notenglish tags, and you're adding the language, you need to put the name in full, such as Spanish not es. This activates the Google Translate thing properly. Actually, the Lupoz one wasn't Spanish but Portuguese. Easy to tell: if there's a twiddle (~) over an n, it's Spanish. If the twiddle is over a vowel, it's Portuguese. The word um indicates Portuguese, too. It's not found in Spanish. Most languages have these little shortcuts to identification. Peridon (talk) 17:29, 31 March 2013 (UTC)

Hey Tentinator!
Had a few inquiries and mentions:
Firstly, the text copied on the Petrosin page, is from our own website, and it is purely for describing/explaining purposes of the different operations. How can I get around this, since mentioning our business areas would be quite foremost.
I see that many other business groups in Pakistan have their wikipedia pages, and Petrosin falls in the same category with them in terms of notability. The pages made previously were incomplete, and thus understandably pointing towards violation of wikipedia policy. I believe that if the page is allowed to be made completely, the editors at wikipedia will find that the article is notable, and certainly not advertising, since The Petrosin Group, with its recent occupations, has become an entity worth encyclopaedic articles.
Other examples of pages that will be either VERY SIMILAR or COMPLETELY OF THE SAME NATURE AND NOTABILITY include:-
The Hashoo Group Descon Engineering Attock Group of Companies
and numerous others that are of the exact same nature as well as equally notable as The Petrosin Group. I have read the rules and articles regarding the publication of articles and the relevant policies.
could you please guide me as to how I will be able to successfully publish an article without infringing upon any of the Wikimedia Foundation's policies? Considering what I have told you, of course. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zureiz (talk • contribs) 09:43, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

- Look again at the report linked by Mojoemoji. The matching phrases are a statement of the mission and a bunch of very short common phrases that would occur in any description of this information. That does not amount to copyright violation. I've already advised you more than once to get the feel of creating content before presuming to be able to judge other people's work. I declined the speedy deletion of We The Ghost - The Band as the article made several claims of importance when you tagged it. Please be more careful in the future. I'm guessing you may have made the same mistake I used to make and assumed that "notability" and "importance" are the same thing. They're not. Having won several awards at a major even is a claim of importance (and what's found in the article) but that may not make them notable. If that was the mistake you were making, hopefully that clears some things up. Have a great week! OlYeller21Talktome 17:22, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

"Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Tentinator 11:52, 16 May 2013 (UTC)"
Dear Tentinator,
My name is Madalena Reis i'm Hi Fly's Marketing Assistant and I was asked to correct the information displayed on Wikipedia. The redirection of the Air Luxor is inaccurate and we would ask if you could change it. Hi Fly was not founded as Air Luxor. Mirpuri Group sold Air Luxor and created Hi Fly. Both companies even operated at the same time completely unrelated. If you need sources from outside the company please go to: Airliner World's May edition this present year where you'll find: “Hi Fly: Portuguese Widebody ACMI Specialist”, pages 58-62. Where it reads
"The carrier is owned by the Mirpuri family, which also has interests in health products and property development. After obtaining an Aero Strike Commander, the family was one of the first in Portugal to operate aircraft for private business use. Following the privatization of airlines in the country in 1980, a corporate department was created and this grew to become an airline – Air Luxor – in December 1988. At the time it was headquartered at Luxor Square in Lisbon (thus the airline’s name), and provided executive and business jet services. This grew into it being a European investor in the global fractional ownership provider NetJets. After a decision to expand the business, it began to offer commercial passenger charter flights in 1997, and moved into scheduled operations in 2001. This became a low-cost operation two year’s later under the Air Luxor Light brand. The Mirpuri family put in an additional $50 million to acquire additional routes and reinforce the infrastructure to launch services to the Azores from continental Portugal. However, the company’s President Paulo Mirpuri explained: “These were not as successful as hoped due to the imposition of political constraints, and the family decided that this was not the way forward, so we sold the company in 2004, and focused on hi Fly with a new business plan.” (The new owners of Air Luxor could not make the carrier financially viable and it went into liquidation in 2007.)"
Also, could you please explain your sources as to your statement that both are related. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mktasst (talk • contribs) 18:43, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
I would be very thankful if you could edit or allow me to edit the article in order to eliminate this redirection.

Negative capability
Hi
i dont see why you edited out corrections which i made on negative capability page and how they were not constructive. Besides, the entire first paragraph does not have a single reference. Nc is NOT "capacity of human beings to transcend and revise their contexts" but as I wrote, an ability to remain with negative feeling, contain and affirm them without trying to clarify them, find meanings or act out - it is a term used predominantly in psychology and psychoanalysis. In case you are, as i assume, not a psychologist, the meaning is also very clear from the section of Keats' letter which you can read on the very page you edited. What i see as not constructive is editing out corrections, and writing incorrect information, without even bothering to have any reference to them. In which case you are basically writing your opinions on wiki and make it into a forum, not a useful info archive. Union Jack Newspaper edit war
Hello, I am trying to get advice on how to stop someone "hijhacking" our Wikipedia listing. The page I am referring to is "http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Union_Jack_%28newspaper%29" which unbeknownst to us was changed several times by a former "licensee" who was in breach of contract with our company Union Jack Publishing, Inc. USA. As you will see the initial entry was made back in 2006, and remained like that until DMMILLAR changed it to make it appear as though the Canadian version he held legitimately for 6 months was the only Union Jack, which it of course is not. After spotting the change last month I edited the page and put it back to our domain, and it has been changed back again, by DMMILLAR. Today, I changed it back again, but seems a tedious and amateurish & childish way of dealing with this matter. Any suggestions you may have would be appreciated. Thanks, Jeff Choularton Union Jack Newspaper, USA Since 1982

While Badoo is a scamming site that is creating like 90% fake profiles constantly (from my personal experience of 1 year) I feel it helps other users to know this flaw and how to be able to still use badoo in its limited range with my addition of this wiki entry below. I don't see why you delete this helpful sidenote or find it not constructive. It appears that wiki is limiting it's knowledge and the will to spread it? If you have a problem with the wording, grammar or anything like that I can understand that it might need corrections, but the message itself is not constructive? Please go into details with that.

Hi == == Well great, Tentinator, uh, I do not know, which means your nickname, but it does not matter. You, therefore, against what I have written about this Slovenian whore that his assistants did not notice of violation, namely handball match at Portugal, Russia. So you should know that this is not just written. Let's go back to the history of Euro-2012 Ukraine vs England, Marko Devic or whoever can not remember scores, or Hungarian Kassai A slut does not capture the goals and the game continues. And where is justice, then? Ukraine could go on and compete with Italy, but in the end came the British and successfully pissed away that game, even on penalties. Togo pseudo-arbitrator once hated, shit in the soul, but for the cause, as well as for what happened yesterday, today, when this vile judge and his assistants did not see a clean game and hand the great, mighty Russia loses. Russia has always suffered misfortune: the Mongol-Tatar yoke, the war with the French, WWII, the Cold War, Afghanistan, Chechnya, etc. But Russia, our mother is suffering and honestly goes forward on the road of history. We have the most loyal and supportive people, we are able to patiently wait for the right time, we suffer pain, we love our country, and our brothers, Ukrainians, Belarusians, the Baltic countries of the former Soviet country and all the countries of the former USSR, and you're whining if you all took some crap, like a sore thumb, and we did not Noah, even when we chopped off hands and feet, we live on, and you ... and you, I already told you. Do you think our country is the worst thing, but first take a look at yourself, can grow wiser and stop bastard our great nation. Well, you say that in our country the worst of people, such as Chikatilo, but do take a look at their: Damner, Fish, Bundy. Yes, even John Wilkes Booth. What a great President Lincoln was killed by his hand? The man, abolishing slavery, was killed, and had to die in old age, as all worthy of the people. When will you all realize that Russia is steeper you all and will never be the greatness of Russia than any other country. Never! Not enough for a rat natures theirs. And now you think it should be? Skomina, Kassai, Materazzi and others - these are people who have no honor in football, despite their achievements. Maybe Skomina and Kassai did not see the goal and playing a hand, but they do not settle down on that anymore. Do you remember when the 2006 World Cup is our referee Valentin Ivanov napokazyval yellow cards and disqualified FIFA? Have you thought about that game, on the fact that all the players as if they bribed a foul on each other to expel Russian arbitrator of arbitrators? So, think about all those who come to this record. I fight for justice and may still be, at least so. If God will give me the opportunity to raise a rebellion in Russia and bring it to a new and better life, I will do so. If I were president, I would introduce the death penalty in Russia in the gas chamber and the electric chair, I would first of all the stolen money officials handed back to the citizens. I have established a friendship with other countries, etc. And by the way I know why you speak badly about Russia: you're just jealous of us because we all have steeper. Us 150 million, you 6,000,000,000, but we all have steeper. And you, Tentinator, do not try to laugh over this letter, do not try to find me for a psycho, do not try not to read it, and vice versa - read. I'm not afraid of anyone or anything, I'm not afraid of you all, I am ready to die. But I want this letter came to FIFA and the pseudo-arbitrator would not be faint. In China, the death penalty for bribery, so let if he took money - will die. I said everything. And for God's sake, do not try to kill me, no one will try to kill me, no one will try to block my IP, anyway, I'll write it one more time and I will not, because they do not see the point. It's just that you can read it, spit on him and went to the library. But for me, freedom of speech is, I wrote all of that I think. The letter was written in Russian and translated into google. If you're not understand the essence - to translate itself.

Tammi Terrell
You removed a contribution by an anonymous user. However, the story about Tammi Terrell's gang rape when she was a schoolgirl seems to be true and is well documented, in books (such as the biography by her sister Ludie Montgomery), and tv documentaries (such as Unsung). Although I doubt if this sad fact should be mentioned so bluntly on Wikipedia, the contribution should not be marked as an "act of vandalism". Hartenhof (talk) 21:05, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

Dandruff and SLS
Hi How come the entry "Avoid SLS shampoos" was deleted under Treatment when there is overwhelming evidence (do a simple web search) that sodium laureth sulfate in shampoo is a major contributor to the "worlds" dandruff problem.
This point is as valid as the entry about Black pepper.
Can you please re-instate that entry.
