Air Pacific

Tennisuser123, I have reverted your edits to Air Pacific destinations for the moment. My reasons are:

  • Japan is not normally considered to be part of Oceania.
  • Your Tonga change reduced accuracy by removing the airport name, and naming Nuku'alofa instead of Tongatapu - the airport is on the opposite side of the island from the capital.
  • Neither the Air Pacific nor Canberra airport websites claim that Air Pacific fly there.

If you have other references to show your edits should be reinstated, feel free to add them.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please read our welcome page for more info. --Scott Davis Talk 09:24, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

US Airways Express Article

Tennisuser123, Thanks for adding the infobox to the US Airways Express article. However, you might want to explore the Show Preview function see Help:Show_preview for details. Remember that people can be viewing the encyclopedia at all times. --Cliffb 20:55, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

I have reverted (most of) your edits to this article. It is an article about aviation in general, not commercial aviation in particular. The article seems to already have sufficient photos, and it's worth remembering what Wikipedia is not (Collections of photographs or media files). Probably a good idea to discuss the photos on the article talk page to get the opinion of others. Thanks/wangi 14:46, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

My main concern is the article already has enough images to support it - it doesn't need any more. Please do not add a gallery section. If you think this is a worthwhile addition then discuss it, and put forward some recommended images, on the article talk page - see it other editors share your belief. Thanks/wangi 14:56, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

As a courtesy for other editors, kindly observe Wikipedia guidelines and sign your talk page and user talk page posts. To do so simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments and your user name or IP address and the date will be automatically added. For further info see: Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. WikiProject

I need to learn how to subscribe to a WikiProject. Please tell me how. Thanks :-) Tennisuser123 23:19, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

Most WikiProjects allow you to join by adding your name to the Participants list, but you might want to read the project page first, to check that there aren't any special requirements. talk to JD wants e-mail 23:21, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

Userboxes

How do you create userboxes (with pictures), and how do make your userboxes go along the side like Wikipedian J Di does? -Tennisuser123 23:39, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

WP:UBX has general information on userboxes, and {{userbox}} provides an easy way for you to make them. Please remember that if you do make your own userboxes, you can't use fair use images. talk to JD wants e-mail 23:42, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

ATTN: Users that like to make Userboxes for other Wikipedians

I was wondering if I could have someone help me make userboxes if I gave them the content I would like in a message in their talk page. If someone is willing to do this, they would be A).Greatly Appreciated, B).Thanked and C).A hero or heroine! If you are interested, please rewrite me, and expect a reply within 5 minutes after you posted it in my talk page. Cool! Thanks! -Tennisuser123 00:01, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

I'll give it a shot. You might want to remove mine from your userpage though; they're a bit fine-tuned to me, especially the one that says I'm gay... talk to JD wants e-mail 00:08, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

JD- Tennisuser123 here. I am glad and thankful to u 4 trying 2 do this. Write me back wen u r ready 2 begin. Thanx.
-Tennisuser123 00:14, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Okay, but please stop fragmenting conversations - there's a message at the top of my userpage that asks people to reply to messages on their own talk page. talk to JD wants e-mail 00:16, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Okay, sorry to drive you nuts. never mind about the userboxes I really shouldn't.

No, I'll do the userbox for you, but many users don't appreciate when other users fragment conversations. talk to JD wants e-mail 00:25, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Fair use images on your userpage

I've removed three images from your userpage as they violated fair user, which basically allows Wikipedia to use copyrighted images without permission, as long as they're only used on articles. talk to JD wants e-mail 00:13, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Hi

Hi

I noticed you edited my user page.

Any reason why you attempted to add "Template:Teen", and then quickly removed it? FireSpike 20:09, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Regional jets

Hi. I noticed the change you were just trying to make the the regional airliners page. I tried to fix all the red links (and managed to), but couldn't save the changes as you were still editing and deleted the list. Before putting it back though, I was just wondering what criteria you're using to define 'current'. Do you mean currently in production, or currently in service? (and is the Avro RJ and J31/41 still in production?). And how do you define main? I've pasted the list below if you want to use it. click on the edit link to get the wiki code. cheers. -- Adz|talk 15:34, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

Current regional airliners

Moved your header template

I moved your header template at Template:Tennisuser123/Header to User:Tennisuser123/Header. I've adjusted the one page you have that calls that template to reflect the new location. Single user templates can and should exist in your userspace rather than in template space. If you have any questions about this, I'd be happy to answer. --Durin 19:18, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

Adminship

Please don't list yourself until you have actually created the nomination page. Also, remember to list yours at the top, not the middle, when you do submit it. Michael 18:49, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Please follow the standard RfA form. Look at the [1]. Michael 18:53, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
Seconded. Tennisuser123, please read Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/nominate for how to nominate. Your request is malformed and will not be accepted due to formal problems alone. It is rather unlikely, that your RfA has any chances, if you show that you don't know how to nominate correctly. I suggest that you restart in a few months, when you do have some more experience. --Ligulem 19:00, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
A tip: I took a short look at your contributions and noticed that you rarely input an edit summary. A good start would be to carefully use edit summaries. It is generally accepted standard for admin candidates that they show good usage of edit summaries. With your current use of edit summaries, your RfA is most likely to fail due to that alone. --Ligulem 19:20, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

Could you please stop keeping readding your malformed request for adminship on WP:RFA? This starts getting annoying.... --Ligulem 23:21, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

You seem to do it again with your obvious WP:SOCK sock account User:Wikiuser456. Please stop this behaviour or I will block both accounts. --Ligulem 23:30, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

Thankyou for barnstar

Thankyou for the Tireless Contributor Barnstar I found on my page today. --Scott Davis Talk 13:31, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Userboxes

Please do not create userboxes in the main namespace. They should either be templates, or exist only in your userspace. Warofdreams talk 03:15, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia; it is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Warofdreams talk 03:19, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you create an inappropriate page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Ryūlóng 03:19, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Tennisuser123 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. Alex (Talk) 00:34, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

You are right and I admit to sockpuppetry. I meant no harm by this. I am still not getting Wikipedia that much and don't know how to use it all that well. I will delete my barnstar from the non-edited user and malformed RfA request. However, I do not know how to change the RfA and delete it. I need help with that. I will not use the Wikiuser456 and then therefore I request to have some admin please delete the user and talk pages. Ify you could please help me unconvict this message, I would be most greatful.

You really cannot use two accounts if you don't follow policy. You also cannot use a sockpuppet to vote in your own RfA. Also, please follow the standard RfA template. Michael 01:08, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
Tennisuser123, it's good you admit that you made a mistake and that you promise not to do it again, this is appreciated. Per the user page deletion of user:Wikiuser456: this is not needed, as this won't delete the contribution history anyway. But if you want to have the page user:Wikiuser456 deleted, you can blank the page and put {{db-userreq}} on it (do that when logged in as user:Wikiuser456). An admin will then delete it (users can request deletion of their user pages per Wikipedia:User page). Please note that you are allowed to have multiple accounts, just use them according to WP:SOCK. For example, I have listed my socks on my userpage. --Ligulem 08:58, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

Userboxes in article space

This is your final warning. If you continue to vandalize pages on Wikipedia, make inappropriate edits or personal attacks, including inappropriate or offensive edit summaries, or continue to cause problems in other ways, you will be blocked from editing indefinitely. Ryūlóng 00:10, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for violating Wikipedia policy by failing to stop actions you recognize were wrong (block duration: 24 hours). If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by replying here on your talk page by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}}. You may also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list instead, or mail unblock-en-l@mail.wikimedia.org. RadioKirk (u|t|c) 00:12, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

I do not feel adding three userboxen, one about soccer, one basketball the other a beach ball to be vandalism particularly since it is in my Sandbox. Please remove this block. Thank you.
Tennisuser123 00:25, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reasons:

You were originally blocked because you were creating your userboxes in the namespace reserved for articles ONLY. Please note that Wikipedia:German userbox solution is in force now. What this means is that all of your userboxes must be named in the same style as "User:Tennisuser123/User_userbox". Further creation of userboxes outside of userspace will be treated as disruption and will lead to further blocks. Thanks.

Next time, please follow the bloody instructions given at MediaWiki:Blockedtext instead of using {{unblock-auto}} multiple times incorrectly. Didn't you notice how your page looked like a dog's breakfast? It only makes my life as administrator harder and next time I'll just ignore your request if see more than one unblock request template in a row. --  Netsnipe  ►  02:42, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the star

Hey, thanks for the barnstar. I just noticed it during my bi-monthly check to see if anyone's vandalised my page recently. I don't think I do work particularly hard, but it's kind of you to say i do :) Flowerparty 21:30, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Final warning, again

This is your final warning. If you continue to vandalize pages on Wikipedia, make inappropriate edits or personal attacks, including inappropriate or offensive edit summaries, or continue to cause problems in other ways, you will be blocked from editing indefinitely. Ryūlóng 22:27, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

Do not repeatedly create pages that are duplicates of templates. They were never in your sandbox, and now they are all moved to the right place while the redirects are now on the chopping block. Ryūlóng 22:27, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

You created User Cycling originally there, when it's already at Template:User Cycling. When you used the Template:tl it did not link correctly. I have since fixed that within your sandbox. Ryūlóng 04:31, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

So Ryulong, please tell me what you delete and that I cannot or can create it.

New York City Subway Infobox

I removed all those infoboxes that you added to the New York City Subway articles (BMT and IRT). They're really not needed because all those lines are already in the New York City Subway Infobox. The Legendary Ranger 12:24, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
