Hello Tchouppy, I reverted your citation removal from [[Mount Prospect, Illinois] because the citation you removed was not dead and even if it was we generally flag those as dead rather than remove them. Perhaps you had a different reason and I was confused by your edit summary. Gab4gab (talk) 15:45, 11 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Gab4gab - It was just floating there at the beginning of the section and not attached to the chart it belonged with. I couldn't figure out how to add it to the chart and when I clicked on the link it went to the generic website, not the specific information for Mount Prospect. Seemed better to delete it. If you can fix it, then feel free to do so. Tchouppy (talk) 16:11, 11 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you click on the archived link it does lead to the data in the chart. I'll look into moving the citation to a better location relative to the chart. Gab4gab (talk) 16:23, 11 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I see where it was archived now, my apologies. The other link in that section also needs its placement adjusted. Tchouppy (talk) 16:27, 11 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Past accounts?

[edit]

Do you have any other accounts? I find your editing patterns strange, including immediate alteration of text on a page you've never edited before (Steve Daines). A page which has had several accounts linked to confirmed sockpuppetry on it previously. Snooganssnoogans (talk) 13:56, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have no other accounts and have never edited using IP. It is ridiculous and rude to come to someone's talk page and accuse them of sockpupepptry because they did an edit of something you posted. Something that was obviously posted to make the subject look racist. I regularly edit pages of members of Congress as well as edits of a wide variety of subjects. Mind your own damn business.Tchouppy (talk) 14:09, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for chiming in on Leonard Leo recently. There has been a rather bizarre spate of editing there. There was a bunch of vandalism related to pedophilia and Jeffrey Epstein, as well as what now appears to be an effort to amplify this recent CREW report across Wikipedia. See, for example, Judicial Crisis Network. I'm seeing a lot of 990s which look like OR. Would be interested in your thoughts. Marquardtika (talk) 21:54, 26 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up- I removed some poorly sourced items. Tchouppy (talk) 14:42, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hey "chum" 🙄. When someone doesn't know the difference between Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington and the Center for Responsive Politics, it seems like a competence issue that would make editing in WP:ARBAP2 difficult. And when the same person refers to subjects of BLP articles as "nefarious", it looks like a WP:RGW situation. All from someone who admits to joining Wikipedia as a meat puppet of IP addresses in Bristol, United Kingdom. It's...odd. I plan to ignore the aspersions for now but I'll collect up diffs and take to a noticeboard for administrator intervention if this escalates into further harassment. I don't imagine that will be necessary. I've been around here for years and randomly hostile newbies are a dime a dozen with their WP:TEXTWALLs and tend to tucker out.
