Some Like It Hot

[edit]

Hi, there -- I see you've created and worked on Some Like It Hot (novel). I was hoping you could expand the article to add more context, like who the author is, when it was published, why it's important (if it won any awards or anything), links to any reviews of it, etc., etc. Also, the plot summary you added sounds like a promotional tagline from somewhere else, which might violate a copyright -- it also reads in a more advertisinglike tone than it does in a formal, encyclopedic, neutral treating of the plot. You might want to look at some other articles of books (e.g. Catch-22, The Wretched of the Earth, James and the Giant Peach, just a few to get you started) to get an idea for how to put the article together.

Thanks for your contributions -- just a heads-up. Feel free to ask me any questions you have about Wikipedia editing on my talk page -- I'd be glad to help you out with improving this article if you're feeling [understandably!] a bit overwhelmed by everything I just dumped on you. Happy editing! Dylan 06:49, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
