Hey Tamfang! Did you see the answer to your Entertainment Reference Desk question which b_jonas provided after it was archived here? (Hearty thanks to both you and b_jonasas! I quite enjoyed reading that short story.) Cheers! -- ToE 17:42, 19 January 2019 (UTC)

I got an answer on scifi.stackexchange.com, and forgot that I had asked it here! —Tamfang (talk) 18:34, 19 January 2019 (UTC)

ArbCom 2019 election voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:05, 19 November 2019 (UTC)

The Nothing

I asked Medeis about the ancient squiggles. But she never answered. Nobody did.

That's why I cast her as the racing snail in the epilogue. Evasive little buggers, but carry sizeable loads, to say the least. You were the forgotten one, "Tamfang". Have you ever told me the story of who named you that and why? If not, better late than never.

The only thing not immediately apparent from my disgusting handle is which Incredible Hulk. Most people think green. The higher power was orange all along! Shocking, eh? Didn't think so. InedibleHulk (talk) 08:05, December 24, 2019 (UTC)

Hold up, I just ran into a spoiler online. Turns out the supposed Chinese guy was trying to speak Elvish the whole time. Fascinating! But if there's anything deeper to it, feel free to flesh it out. Like that mythical Greek dude, I'm all eyes! InedibleHulk (talk) 08:16, December 24, 2019 (UTC)
Orange? — No, that's really all there is. —Tamfang (talk) 08:23, 24 December 2019 (UTC)
Real American Orange, to be specific. No relation to New World Oranger. The genuine article is all about accentuating the glow with complementary yellow underwear and positively red kneepads. The gritty reboot is all about contrasting Hollywood black and white, or dividing the old red, white and blue in an attempt to "blend in" to Washington. The Fake Orange can also be identified by his inability to close an umbrella and his relatively foul mouth. There's a bit more, really, but that's a story for another day (and another reader, if you insist). InedibleHulk (talk) 11:47, December 24, 2019 (UTC)
