re Wikipedia:Featured articles that haven't been on the Main Page?

[edit]

Hi there, I'm obviously a bit new to Wikipedia, having created an account two months ago. Anyway, I wanna ask two questions. So, as you can see in the headline, it relates to Wikipedia:Featured articles that haven't been on the Main Page. So, I found out that The Tower House, Secret of Mana and Gary Cooper are on the page even though they were featured. I edited the page to take them out, but the bot reverted my edit. So, question number one, will the articles that were featured this month be edited out when June starts? And question number two, is the bot the only "user" that should edit the page? I hope you will reply soon. TVShowFan122 (talk) 11:44, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not really sure, but I'd suggest you could ask your question at WT:FAC. The people there might have more helpful answers for you. — Cirt (talk) 02:32, 10 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Since asking I have resolved the problem, but thanks anyway! I'll ask all my questions there from now on. TVShowFan122 (talk) 15:51, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Blanking

[edit]

Hey! The reason I blanked the Duncan (fictional locomotive) article is because I was going to create an article on him. --ACase0000 (talk) 13:11, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

ACase0000: Oh, in this case, I sincerely apologize. TVShowFan122 (talk) 13:59, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No Problem at all. :) --ACase0000 (talk) 14:03, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
ACase0000: I was just checking Special:ShortPages for vandals blanking, and I thought you were a vandal. Once again, I apologize. TVShowFan122 (talk) 14:05, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Re:And why exactly is that important?

[edit]

Well Peridot is an ongoing antagonist and her arrival does result in the Chrystal Gems taking an increased interest in both their duty to protect while revealing some of the history of the strife, but I digress. It's your article, so I'll leave it alone. TomStar81 (Talk) 20:49, 1 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well then, maybe we should do it like on the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes list, where the first appearance of every character is listed. It's not my article though, I have not created it. TVShowFan122 (talk) 14:54, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of U.S. counties named after U.S. Presidents, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Ford County and Carter County. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Notice

The article Alone Together (Steven Universe) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I believe the subject of this article is, or should be, completely covered by our article on Stevonnie, the character who is introduced in this episode. Both the way Stevonnie deals with consent as well as their gender identity are covered by both articles. In fact, this could be considered the core of both articles.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ~Mable (chat) 13:07, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Apologies for tagging the wrong person! I'm currently in a discussion with the person who created the article. Feel free to join it if you are interested, or ignore this message if you are not. Thanks for the response either way! ~Mable (chat) 14:29, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Apology for my edit on the article about the 2004 election

[edit]

Hello, I am the one that made the edit removing another user’s edit about the 2004 election(the one that you reverted). I would like to (firstly) thank you for your reversion of that edit and (secondly) apologize that you had to do so. I initially misunderstood the text/edit that I had removed, but within minutes and upon closer examination of the edit, understood it was I that had made the mistake. I (half-heartedly) attempted to revert the edit, but did not know how as this is a relatively new wikipedia account and I make most of, if not, all contributions to wikipedia articles via iPhone. Again, my apologies and gratitude are handed to you- this is entirely my fault. Freeturnity (talk) 14:31, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
