The character is unimportant. He has little to no information. The article is a direct copy and paste. It doesn't need to exist. Nemu 19:55, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Do avoid being being argumentative for argumentative's sake, please

I don't know what experience you've had with "Japanophiles" and what-not lately, but comments like this in an edit summary are unnecessary. Besides, not being one I wouldn't know what to do with myself. >_>

If I were more dedicated to Wikipedia these days I'd counter with "...those are the English translations. @_@", but I'm really not up for it anymore. Sorry if my edit offended you. Voice of Treason

I've only had a minimal amount of involvement with you, so I didn't know your stance. I wanted to nip it in the bud, so it wouldn't end up with me reverting you a couple times likes it has happened to me in the past. And then, I always could of left out the "with some Japanese words by some obsessive people" bit. 10:26, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
Since I don't edit much at all anymore I'm really not in the best position to give advice to an active contributor, BUT - don't you think comments like that would do more to set a tempermental user off and start problems instead of finish 'em? Not to step on your toes any more or anything.
Anyway (that's a lot of anys), I was just stopping in. Hope whatever's gone down with you and the obsessives goes a little better. Voice of Treason 10:35, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I think I was just a little more annoyed than ususal from a bunch annoying elitists that refuse to use anything but "Bejita" and the other things like that. I was a little too quick to comment. Nemu 18:51, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Luffy's One Piece page

http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Talk:Monkey_D._Luffy#Attack_List do read it, TTN. stop changing the 1 minute thing--Hyper megaman 15:25, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

I put all that stuff you reverted back onto onto page... Its something we're trying to set up for all the characters (See Franky's page). I'm gonna remove it again because of that, please understand what everyone is trying to set up here. Angel Emfrbl 15:05, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Why? None of them need it. Their pages are fine enough for the information. I can sort of understand Franky because he's fairly complicated(but he still doesn't really need it), but Luffy's page is small enough anyways. If his page gets to be the size of Superman's, then he should get a break off article. We just need to give info on their basic abilites and some of their signature attacks, which currently for Luffy, doesn't warrent a page. Nemu 15:23, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Well, as I've said, it was discussed once while the deletation of the One Piece Attacks page was going on. Someone already is (or was) working on a Zoro page. I'm just setiing up Luffy's page for futher editing and so forth. Angel Emfrbl 16:12, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
There is absolutly no reason for the pages. They're just being made for the purpose of having them. They don't have any value when all the're just small break off pages from aticles that weren't very long in the first place. If Luffy had a large amount of info that was actually useful, then the page woudld be fine, but he doesn't, so it's pointless. I'll just AfD them sometime later. Nemu 16:17, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
I hate it when people just 'AFD' a page when it has just been set up and others haven't been given the chance to edit and adjust it... Look, just give us a couple of days to bring it up to snuff. 'AFD' isn't the only way of dealing with a page you know... Angel Emfrbl 16:20, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
That's why I said sometime later. I've seen what the characters can do, and I know they have no substance for an article unless you were to list all of their attacks, which isn't good anyways. Nemu 16:23, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Ah! Thats good at least. Well, until the other editors get on-line and take a look at the page, I can't do a thing to it anyway. The others need to take a look at it. I think after trying to set up the page as we discussed though, your right in one sense... Its very much a weak article (even the Franky one isn't that strong really). this is actually something I said when the One Piece Attacks page was being deleted (I was neutral on that matter, I didn't see the point in the page anyway). When the others have expressed their views (if they bother), then 'AfD' it. I think we may end up abandoning the idea anyway, I've come across a few problems while doing the Luffy page that might make it impossible to do as we planned. Angel Emfrbl 16:30, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Fair use images

I think you need to have a talk with Dragonball1986 about the use of images. He has been adding an overwhelming amount of unnecessary Dragon Ball related images to articles. I know you have noticed this problem as well. If you could talk to him and refer him to the policy I would greatly appreciate it. -- bulletproof 3:16 22:35, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm not going to deal with him any more. He can be more annoying as Wiki-star, and just a stubborn. It'll take twenty replys and fifty his annoying messages to get the point across. Eh, screw it. I'll try. Also, could you could go look at the edit I made to the Dodoria page, and if you find it to be better than the blob that's currently there, try to explain to Zarbon why it should be like that? Nemu 22:41, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Rou Dai Kaioshin

Hello. I recently reverted your edit to Rou Dai Kaioshin and put "Revert vandalism" in the edit summary because I noticed Dragonball1986 made an edit and in the edit summary, it said "Hahahahaha..." and thought that he redirected the page, but that was the page right under it on my watchlist. I'm sorry for calling it vandalism, it was completely unintentional. But why was it redirected in the first place? The page has way more info than the list. Just curious. --Sasuke-kun27 19:21, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

The info on the page is just expanded a tiny bit. The only real content the page can have it a plot summary. It seems pointless to keep it. Nemu 19:30, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

So...

Is there a rule that says I can't? NO!!!!!!!!!!! (Don't make up any rules now!!!)Dragonball1986 19:49, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Haku

The fact that Haku is transgendered is EASILY percievable. He is a BOY who dresses and acts like a GIRL. He belongs in the LGBT category because he is being PORTRAYED as Trans, which is the category's requirement. The other information does NOT take a side on whether or not Haku is gay, it merely presents the information in question. Besides the fact that you blanked the entire section without looking at the atlk page or bothering to even discuss it there, I think your intentions here are obviously dubious. The article only states observable facts, and does not PROCLAIM Haku as gay, only puts forward the (often debated) idea. CaveatLectorTalk 15:24, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Naruto himself has made references and mistakes in thinking that Haku was a girl rather than a boy because of they he looked and dressed. I think it was made pretty clear on the talk page why I included Haku in the category. This makes it clear that you haven't bothered reading any of the discussion. Also, I will repeat. The article as written only mentions the homoerotic elements of Haku and Zazuba's relationship, it does NOT make a proclaimation of any sort. CaveatLectorTalk 22:40, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Hey, TTN... its been a while huh? I was out for a couple of weeks cause my computer started acting up. So I went to go get it fixed, and it turns out the motherboard was completly fucked up. You actually think I want to fight with him, ha, I'm getting sick of him reverting everything I edit. It always takes someone like you to break up the fight.Sam ov the blue sand 00:44, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

That's your problem. You're acting very confrontational around him. Many of your recent edits seem to be trying to entice him to fight with you. I'm sure he has nothing against you personally. You sould take a look at the quality of your edits to see if they are actually good or not. Nemu 00:49, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

I tried to talk with him but he said no to my offer (see he and I's talk pages you'll see them).Sam ov the blue sand 01:16, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Never mind I'm a better person now thanks to Gunslinger 47.Sam ov the blue sand 23:55, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

What do you think?

There's a troll that is reverting my redirects from a few articles that seem to be plain listcruft. (List of Dragon Ball DVDs List of Dragon Ball video games, List of Dragon Ball episodes) I believe it is unnecessary to have such lists because of the fact that there are templates that list most of the information there already. The third article in question is nothing more than a list of movies and links to other lists. A comment on this issue would be greatly appreciated. -- bulletproof 3:16 03:19, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

I've never seen any DVD lists, so that seems pretty pointless. The epsiode list seems to be more like a disambiguation page rather than a real page, so that might be fine(unless you're talking about the articles it links to or something, didn't look at those). Video games seems fine. I've seen plenty of them before. It seems that they're generally accepted. Nemu 03:25, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
So there are some articles for DVDs. I think they're fine as long as it's an actual long running and popular show. The only articles that I've seen lists like these get deleted for are game and reality shows. If you feel strongly about it, I would suggest putting them up for deletion. Nemu 03:32, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
The List of Dragon Ball video games seems pointless to me becuase there is a template and a category with that stuff anyway. See Template:Dragon Ball games and Category:Dragon Ball games. The epsiode list is pointless too becuase it is just a list of DB movies (Which has a template already. See Template:Dragon Ball films) and, other lists. Not even the name of the article makes sense. It says List of Dragon Ball episodes, but no episodes are listed. Its just a list of other lists. It wouldn't even pass for a disambig page. -- bulletproof 3:16 03:39, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
Maybe we should handle the episode list like this one: List of Pokémon episodes. It seems like it could be a good way of doing it. I would say to delete the template for the video games and keep the page. That how five I looked at handle it. I would keep the DVD list possibly. If we can make it neater(add pictures and templates), it seems like it could be fine. Seeing as there are many other pages like those, it should be fine to keep them. Nemu 14:38, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

You're right

That image is waaay too small to be set just to thumbnail. I can see your point when I relook at it. Sorry for the doubt. I didn't see the point in thumbnailing an image and then resizing it like that.

No harm done I hope, I just didn't notice how tight the picture looks.

And I was going also part in experience, apparently the last time I tried to do just that with an image it didn't want to work. You don't need to know the details. Its nothing big. Angel Emfrbl 16:36, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

I fixed up the first two paragraphs of the article. So what do you think? I'm starting on the characters sections now. Please help me fix it if you think it's still worded strangely, but don't just revert it. Thanks! Power level (Dragon Ball) 14:47, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

Can you at least find some interesting stuff to add to Human (Dragon Ball)? If you keep insisting a merger, you'll never have an idea of what to add. Please, I'm trying my hardest to actually put something in it. Remember, it is a stub that needs expansion. As I said, give it at least a week or two. Same as with Red Ribbon Army. (It needs more time!) Thanks! Power level (Dragon Ball)

Sasori image

It's not absolutely a fan image. It was drawn by Kishimoto and coloured by fan. It means that it is the combination between Kishi and fan. That primitive image of Sasori is too bad, so I replace with a better one, which depicts Sasori's characteristics carefully following Kishi's description. Causesobad 15:34, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Fan image, fan colored image, same thing. Neither will go up. Nemu 15:44, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
It's a pity you can't differentiate between the "image by fan" and "image coloured by fan". Moreover, why do we always use the image coloured by the author only? Kishimoto is not an artist, so he can't colour, also doesn't have enough talent to colour all his images. We should be flexible when choosing an illustrated image, which can demostrate the deep soul of the character whether it coloured by author or not. That small pic of Sasori only depicts a half of his face, that's so unfair for Sasori. So I critically recommend to change it with another better one.Causesobad 07:53, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Kakuzu is not greedy

I have explained very clearly why Someguy0830 shouldn't use the word "greedy". If you yourself also can't make it out, I have nothing to say but "upset". Your understanding is merely to interfuse the "money loving" with "greed". Causesobad 08:06, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Human(Dragon Ball) and Dragon World

Hello, my name is Sir james paul and I am here to resolve the dipute inbeetween Animedude360 and you. Both of you need to work on this fast so you can get this over with. I would like to ask both of you to be civil, and follow policies and guidlines at all times during this. What we will have to do is reach an agreement on the article talk pages. Saiyans

I disagree with your use of a lowercase "S" in Saiyans and the other Dragon Ball races. There's a discussion going on here Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (capital letters), but the concensus seems to be to use whatever the policy is of the show itself. In this case, every reference to "Saiyan" I can find in official publications-- FUNi and Viz translations, etc.-- are capitalized. I think it is pretty clear that capitalization is the preferred method. JRP 07:04, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

You remember that Zarbon dude? Apparantly he's still got that WP:OWN problem and has gone about reverting the pages to his version.--SUIT 19:06, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Comment

What did you mean when you said this: "Even though it's true, we don't decide that" source? I really couldn't find a source online regarding Toriyama having to do with helping to create Janemba with the anime staff, but you yourself said that it's true, right? Really, why don't we decide that? Would be considered Original Research? Power level (Dragon Ball) 19:41, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

If you find a source for the design, readd it. My comment was geared towards the canon part of it. Nemu 19:56, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Numbers

Did you even read the talk page before changing those numbers on Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2? I COUNTED how many characters there are two different ways and I didn't get 129 and 132 either way. Read the talk page, provide your reasoning for using those numbers, and THEN change them, please.

Daishokaioshin 04:19, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

If you disagree with something on the PL(DBZ) page, please discuss it on its' respective talk page rather than remove it as if it were original research. If you continue to remove those power levels, you will recieve a warning regarding your removal of content, without proper consensus that is. Please start a discussion about it. PL(DB) 23:29, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

Why the hell are you going on about consensus? You don't need to vote for every single edit. And he left edit summaries explaining his edits.--SUIT 23:38, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Why remove the Daizenshū power levels if they're accurate? Should I start a discussion on the talk page about it then? PL(DB) 23:41, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Must you try to edit war over everything, PL? For once, pay attention to the reasoning of others instead of acting like you always do. – Someguy0830 (T | C) 00:09, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, lets see. They are unofficial, disputable, and at points make no sense (there is no way Freeza could be over tweny million in his final form). We only go up to Trunks while the Daizenshū goes further. Why stop there? Because we don't trust them at that point, so why should we trust them earlier? Nemu 00:06, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

First, PL(DB) is right. There are several users (including me) who totally disagree with TTN's last edits. Since Wikipedia is not a personal but a collective work, if there's disagreement, there must be discussion and consensus.

It's against the rules of Wikipedia that one user could ignore the others and keep reverting to his version without discussion, thus claiming ownership on the article. TTN, continue like that and you'll be warned in order to be blocked.

Second, the people against the Daizenshū (and particularly TTN) seem astonishingly ignorant of it's content. In fact, If think I'm one of the only here who has actually read the Daizenshū and who knows what it is. Thus TTN's edits are based on false assumptions, misconceptions, and aren't benefiting Wikipedia.

TTN, you say that the power level of the Daizenshū are "unofficial" ? Can't you read the PL article ? It's stated right there. The Daizenshū is an official databook, written by Shueisha writers with the help and supervision of Akira Toriyama himself (I remind you that Shueisha is the japanese publisher of the manga, and that Akira Toriyama is the one who created Dragon Ball). Toriyama himself has stated in the introduction of the book that he was very pleased with the result. TTN, please stop spreading utter lies, the daizenshū is absolutely official.

Then, TTN, you say that they are "disputable" ? No they aren't. No one can dispute what has been written with the help of Toriyama himself in an official databook. Every power given fits perfectly with what was stated previously in the manga. You have no way to dispute it unless you are Toriyama himself.

You say "makes no sense" ? Absolutely wrong. Look in the archive of the talk page of the concerned article, I've explained countless times why Freeza's final PL makes absolute sense. Gokû's and Vegeta's base power during the Freeza fight are already in the millions. Due to the Kaiôken and the SSJ, Gokû reaches the hundreds of millions, so it's perfectly logical for Freeza to reach also the hundreds of millions.

You say "the Daizenshū goes further than Trunks" ?? What's this ??? Where did you get that from ??? Have you ever read the Daizenshū ??? The last power level in the Daizenshū is Gokû SSJ during the Freeza battle. It absolutely doesn't go any further. Only the shitty fan-made PL lists go beyond that point.

You say "we don't trust them at that point". U-T-T-E-R R-U-B-B-I-S-H. Because the Daiz' doesn't go any further than the manga does. It stops at the Freeza saga. If in the article, we don't go further than that, it's because no official source goes beyond this point (not even the Daiz').

But there are lists we don't trust, the shitty fan-made lists. Obviously you have mistaken these lists with the one from the Daiz', which shows you're completely ignorant of what the Daiz' is, thus making you perfectly unable to claim anything about it, about it's content, about whether we should trust it or not. Your point of view here is simply irrelevant and it doesn't deserve to be taken into account.

Your rants here are basically that, based on your ignorance and misconceptions about the Daiz', we shouldn't trust it because you have decided it. It's your own personal point of view, and it would be perfect on one of these countless message-boards full of ignorant kids. But here we're on Wikipedia, that is, a serious project, with very precise rules: we have to be ojective, and we don't allow personal point of views.

The aim of the Powel Level article is to build a complete list based on all the valid sources we have on the subject. The Daiz', with the anime, are parts of these valid sources. So basically, we don't care about your personal preferences about the Daiz', since this article must be thorough, it will use all the valid and official sources we have, whether or not you like or dislike one of the sources. We have to be thorough, not subjective. Folken de Fanel 13:14, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Why did you bother typing all of that? Really, you just turned a paragraph response into a giant rant. Just say I'm wrong. You don't need to try to feel superior to me(just to let you know, you really didn't decimate me like you probably think you did).
Ok, whatever, I was wrong. I still don't know how the hell you can look at those final power levels and think they're correct in an official sense, but, whatever. Nemu 14:20, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
Why did I bother to write all that ? Yeah, you're right, as if you bothered to justify any of your edits...I did that because here we're not on any stupid DBZ message-board but on Wikipedia, and there are rules and principles, you know. That's what we call "discussion". I know you're not used to this on message-boards, but...
You "still don't know" ? You simply have to read what I wrote. And also read the manga. Folken de Fanel 15:28, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
Have you ever seen a Dragon Ball message board? Most posts are twice the size of that while discussing the most inane things, so I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm just saying you turned a few paragraphs in to into a giant rant that indirectly called me stupid and ignorant (in the sense of an idiot). Discussion is discussion, not a rant. You reply to a thought with a thought of decent proportion. I had a paragraph. That should mean, maybe, three for you. Nemu 16:04, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
So now you get to decide how long someone's response to something is? Wow. And here I thought that someone could type something that is as long as is necessary to explain something to someone who clearly doesn't understand or know anything about what they are talking about. Shows what I know.
Or maybe you're being overly defensive and claiming people are attacking you when they are doing no such thing. Just a possibility to consider.

Did you even read his comment? It's full of the step by step explanations as if I could never understand it. He compares me to a random message board user for no reason other than to diminish me. The tone of the message is very "elitist" in a way, and is just rude in general. He easily could have said "You're wrong because of x, y, and z. The end." That's all I'm saying. On a side note, you shouldn't be one to criticize someone for being totally wrong(;P). Nemu 06:05, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
Oh. Wow. Yeah. You sure showed me what a big man you are. Because, as we all know, miscounting something is exactly the same as making declarations about something with which one has no experience or understanding, and then criticizing someone when they explain why it is that one was wrong, and happen to use more words than one is comfortable with. Yeah. Great job pointing out how I am "totally wrong", Mister Perfect. On a side note, yes, I read his comment, and I initially didn't see anything wrong with it. I re-read it and attempted to see it from your point of view, and yeah, I guess some of it could have been cut out or worded better. However, if the way you portray yourself through your words and actions deserves comparison to "random message board users", then people are going to make that comparison. Perhaps you could attempt to change the way people perceive you by acting and speaking differently? Calling people "elitists", in particular, is something I've noticed you do often, and it may not be taken well by many people, leading them to say things like Folken did.
By the way, I'm not attempting to defend Folken, as I have had problems with him in the past. He DOES personally attack people, for no reason, and make assumptions about people's lives outside of Wikipedia when he has no knowledge about the person whatsoever. He started a gigantic argument on my talk page once, insisting I apologize for "being racist" because I noted that his user page says he is from France, and I suggested that the reason we were having difficulty communicating may be due to a language barrier. From the disjointed manner in which he barraged me with demands that I apologize, and denying he had made any personal attacks, while simultaneously launching more of them, it only supported my suggestion.
In short, he may understand the Daizenshuu and Dragon Ball Z, but communication and manners aren't his strong points. If you are mad about the other things he said about you, I understand completely, and apologize if things I may have said seemed to support his words, or were taken as attacks by you, when that was not their intent. You've contributed a lot towards Wikipedia, but some things, like name-debating, and being confrontational (intentional or not) are only hurting things, rather than helping them. If you are interested in using a specific set of names and terms for Dragon Ball Z, I would support doing as just about every other anime or manga represented on Wikipedia does, and use the official romaji rather than whatever the most popular American version is. There's only two or three series on Wikipedia that have this controvery over names, and Dragon Ball Z is one of them. There is no justification for using one dub's names over another, and I think a lot of good points were made in the Paikuhan article's talk page, which you may wish to read and consider, as well as direct others towards in the future, as we attempt to shift Dragon Ball Z articles towards the original names, rather than having a mix of original and abomination (aka FUNimation) names.
Apologies also, if that was too long for you. When I get writing, I tend to lose track of the length of things. Good luck with future editing.
