tables and rowspan
[edit]I wasn't aware of the accessibility problems posed by using rowspan. Is it only a problem for the audio rendering, or is there another (navigational, I think) issue? I find it curious that sorting a table populates every single row with the proper data, which makes me wonder if it's possible to patch this peculiarity, either on the wiki side or (not applicable to this discussion) on the screen reading software side. [edit]Hello. I would say adding a little bit of character info from the novel is fine, as it's the same source [Tarantino]. If it were someone else who didn't create the world and characters then I think there'd be an issue. It wasn't much and personally I don't think there's anything else really worth adding. Even in the section that briefly talks about the novel. There's three small paragraphs which include critical reception and there's a few sentences added in the character section. You may disagree. Do you think a lot more should be added to the point of giving it its own page? Personally I think the soundtrack section is quite a bit more detailed and contains quite a few more references. I would think to start there if we are going to start spinning off pages. Personally that's not something I do as far as editing though. I just wanted to explain to you where I'm coming from. Please let me know if you feel strongly about anything I've mentioned here. Thank you. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 22:59, 1 July 2021 (UTC)
- You making an argument on the actual page rather than discussing it with me after I reached out to you is inappropriate and against the policy that I can see another editor already warned you about. Please refrain from this. FYI it's not a disconnected text. Not only is it the same character by the same author but also please read Novelization. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 22:08, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
- Heads up about Dalton's bi-polar. That comes from a ref from years ago when Tarantino said as much. I hope you realize the novelization is not based on the film or a separate story. It is an expanded text intended to provide further detail and exploration. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 22:26, 2 July 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Nicolas Cage filmography. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 14:16, 2 July 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Would a better way be to put maybe "Direct to Streaming"? There is a wikilink for it - Direct-to-stream which does redirect to Direct-to-video#Digital releases but then it would encompass the actual meaning and take out the "video" part. Regarding revision to Robert Downey Jr’s filmography.
[edit]Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources#Sources
Wikipedia says I may use screenrant as a reliable source for facts about entertainment so long as they aren’t controversial facts about living persons. Robert playing the role is hardly a controversial fact so I can’t see why my edit was revised. Likewise when you watch the film you can see that Sid Shattuck’s corpse is Robert Downey Jr even if he is uncredited. May I reinstate this edit? I can try to find a more reliable source if needed but this might be the best there is bar asking the director or actor themselves. Fthrs McGrw (talk) 19:19, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
- @Fthrs McGrw hey man,
- I don't really see how the corpse in the film is definitely RDJ. They both have black hair and the corpse seems to have a goatee? His face is obscured with blood, how can anyone be sure it's Downey? I feel like this little resemblance is what started an Internet rumor that has never been backed up by someone involved in the film's production or a more legitimate film industry publication which Screenrant just helped spread. If you read the article you see they aren't even saying how they came to learn this, they're just stating a rumor as fact!
- Now maybe the corpse is RDJ, but with the only thing close to a legit source being a shoddily written Screenrant article, then I say it's more likely just a rumor and it's best to leave it off his filmography until the day it's actually confirmed if it is truly him.
