Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Hello, I'm Sumanuil. Thank you for your recent contributions to Islington Avenue. I noticed that you added an image to the article's infobox as a thumbnail. In future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox, as this is against the Manual of Style. When adding an image, supply only the filename to the |image= parameter and the caption to the |caption= parameter instead. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using; please consult the Template page for the infobox being used on that page for proper instructions and documentation. Thanks! - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 18:19, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I saw you removed the redirect on Major Mackenzie Drive while doing new page reviews. Can you share the sources you intend to support the independent notability of this road? Right now you have Google Maps, which is limited in its use and as a WP:PRIMARYSOURCE cannot support notability per WP:GOOGLEMAPS. The other source validates the road's namesake but is a WP:TRIVIALMENTION. To have a standalone page, this road need to meet the general notability guideline (WP:GNG), meaning that the article includes sources in secondary, independent, reliable sources with significant coverage (WP:SIGCOV). Let me know if you have questions. Happy to help answer if I can, but if the sourcing doesn't meet the guidelines I'm going to restore the redirect in a few days. You can copy what you have now into your sandbox; that's a great place to work on items that aren't ready for primetime yet. Dclemens1971 (talk) 21:51, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sources exist tags

[edit]

Hi, I've noticed that you've been adding {{sources exist}} to articles that you've started (e.g. McCowan Road, Warden Avenue) without identifying what these sources might be or how you searched for them. Could you explain your reasoning? signed, Rosguill talk 19:52, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
