Comment: The draft is still mostly WP:Original research, with no indication of the road's notability per WP:GEOROAD. No additional references have been added since the last submission, though some of the unsourced content has been removed. Taunton Road is an arterial thoroughfare street in Canada that travels east–west from Pickering, Ontario, to Clarington, Ontario. It stretches 29.9 mi (48.1 km) across the eastern Greater Toronto Area from Toronto-Pickering city limits in the west to Highway 35 / Highway 115 – Clarington In the east. Taunton Road continues west to Toronto, ontario / York Region as Steeles Avenue

Route Description

Taunton Road traverses through the following municipalities:

Pickering: The westernmost portion of Taunton Road lies within the city of Pickering. Here, it intersects with major roadways such as Brock Road and Kingston Road, providing connectivity to other parts of Durham Region and the Greater Toronto Area.

Whitby: Continuing eastward, Taunton Road passes through the city of Whitby. This section is characterized by a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial areas. It intersects with major roads like Brock Street and Dundas Street West, offering access to various amenities and services.

Oshawa: As Taunton Road extends further east, it enters the city of Oshawa. In this area, it intersects with major thoroughfares such as Harmony Road and Simcoe Street North, providing connectivity to the city's core and surrounding neighborhoods.
