How does welcome work?

[edit]

How come no-one welcome me to the site yet?. Superlightoftruth (talk) 17:31, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Because you edited only on 3 pages, whoch are not yours. It's easy to explain: you didn't generated too much interest atm.

Re: Adoption

[edit]

Hey Superlightoftruth :) I would be happy to give all the advice I can.

I see you've been welcoming new users. Unfortunately, on some of the latter edits, you accidentally called some people by the wrong name. Such errors can usually be spotted by using the "Preview" button, though we all make them occasionally, so nothing to fret about.

In general, the path of least resistance is to do content work first, then look at the more "vandal fighting" elements of Wikipedia. Here, I note your sandbox work and your other edits, which are both admirable.

Keep up the good work and let me know if you have any queries. - Jarry1250 [Weasel? Discuss.] 20:03, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Alternate account

[edit]

Hi Superlightoftruth, I was wondering if this is the new main account of the person who went by Phillip1992; it says it is on Phillip1992's user page. Anyways, I was looking at User:Philip1992/Pokemon and realized that it may fall under our guidelines regarding what user pages should not be used for. If this is the new main account of Phillip1992, could you log-in as Phillip1992 and add {{db-g7}} so that it can be deleted? Crisco 1492 (talk) 08:47, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I will make it so no-one can access it then --Superlightoftruth (talk) 13:35, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
