Speedy deletion nomination of Hip Hop Movement
[edit]Hello Street sting,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Hip Hop Movement for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Meiloorun (talk) 🍁 02:41, 3 October 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Ronald "Bee-Stinger" Savage. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- GB fan 21:30, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Ronald "Bee-Stinger" Savage, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. -- GB fan 21:42, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove the maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Ronald "Bee-Stinger" Savage. -- GB fan 21:48, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Ronald "Bee-Stinger" Savage shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. -- GB fan 21:49, 8 October 2016 (UTC)

GB it is very clear that you are the one starting this war, and to me it's not a war i'm getting known published facts that i researched and placed it into his profile. You been doing it from day one with this man being the owner of the hip hop movement, i know it's hard for you to except that he is but you clearly can see and now know he is. You must have something against it or you would not be doing it. I'm humbly asking you to stop this and let the facts be known that he is clearly the owner of the hip hop movement, this man has clearly been though a lot. I listed more then enough published sources for you to stop this act. I'm asking please. It is also on his website www.ronaldsavage.com and also on the hip hop movement website itself.

- Who is edit warring? In the past 14 hours two editors have removed the content and you have restored it three times. You are the only one that is close to violating the three revert rule. Your discussion about it so far is to threaten that you will report both editors that have removed it. ~ GB fan 01:13, 7 May 2018 (UTC)

Afd - I oppose to this Nomination of Hip Hop Movement for deletion, let me ask you a serious question why would you request this to a page that has been up for 6 years and has been approved 6 years ago and is 100% the truth, is there a personal reason you are doing this, first you go on his Ronald Savage page and deleted all his music listings which you would not had done that to another hip hop artist and what's questionable is why did you delete: Savage has also fought to help change the statute of limitations laws in New York State against child molesters then right after that what is very alarming is why did you unlike hip hop movement that was on his page, then go over to hip hop movement which is man owns the trademark for an ask that the page be deletd when all the hip hop pioneers appreciated that page and gave him his props. I am respectfully asking if you can remove this and we talk like man, this page had been apprived 6 years ago. --Street sting (talk) 00:32, 24 July 2021 (UTC)

Hi Yeeno i didn't remove anyone comments at all, as far as the notice, I was reading the wiki page on oppose and i did what it said to do maybe i read it wrong but i thought i was going it wright when you oppise, this has been up there for 6 years and this guy went to every page that i wrote taking it down lying say something about safe promotion just to get it down, 5 years also i had ither user help me and should be what to do in wiki and they added their things to it, I too was molested very young thats why i had my friends help me also do research, i think this user has a persinal issue because who takes the time to go around and do what he is doing and also remove that this guy Ronald helped get the child victims act past, whi dies that, and this is known worldwide. sorry about that i put it on my talk page and the other page that the wiki article said to do, to pervent anyone from doing it again, this hip hop movement was approved 5 years ago by wiki when i challage the frist time which was 5 years ago and it evert happen again until now, i could under if it was just that but everything from this guy Ronald Savage was invold in this same user went around delting things that been up on wiki for years, it seems personal thats all. Can you help me, I really don't know much about wiki ither then what users should be or did for me. --Street sting (talk) 05:30, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Hip hop shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. You're doing the same thing so this counts for you too, you are the one in an edit war rather than talking to me about it on the talk page, let it stay up, and talk to me about it on my talk page, as you had claim things that were not true without doing any reach research. --Street sting (talk) 17:02, 24 July 2021 (UTC)

Hi Liz
Yes, I will hit you up on your talk page tomorrow but the comments are not personal attacks at all they are backed up with facts but no one is saying how a hip hop legend is being attacked out of know where and we don't even know who is behind this computer, Liz you can't tell in in a matter of 5 mins after 5 years everything this man done is being touched by one person and then of cause put into the community page with a bias statement, everyone else sees it, then one of the big things that hip hop artist is known for in NYS is the Child victims Acts and again this one person takes it down when everyone in hip hop knows who Ron Savage is and he helps to get that law pass, and the same user excuse was it wasn't in the new york daily news which was right there in the ref, he didn't read it, but I'm the bad guy here when I'm trying to show you all whats going on. Loz I say this much respectfully it's not personal attacks it's backed up by facts about what he is doing. But I will hit you on your talk page but who can I speak with that is not bias to this matter and he has a redirect user name that is counting as two if someone would just look at what I have been saying you would see it with the time frames, that's all I'm asking, and how do you delete a page with 5 votes, but ok, i will hit you on your user page, way one more thing lol i'm sorry Why did i get hit with the 3 strikes and he didn't when he started it then baited me so he can have someone in that community group block me from talking while they deleted a page that was there for 5 years but a person who started editing in 2021. It was like he was going really hard on getting this man or his legacy off wiki he even took all his music off that he did and the only person your looking at is me whos not attacking but defending.--Street sting (talk) 06:38, 28 July 2021 (UTC)--Street sting (talk) 06:38, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
"Six Elements of the Hip Hop Movement"
[edit]Revised after 6 years in Wikipedia, please add on or edit so it can be replaced back into hip hop article. Please listen to interviews as well they're time-stamped, I think I did it right.
In 1990, Ron "Bee-Stinger" Savage, a former member of the Zulu Nation, (Savage is known as the son of the Hip Hop Movement) while working with the hip hop group Snap is credited with coining the term "Six Elements of the Hip Hop Movement" being inspired by Public Enemy's rap conscious style recordings. In 2017 The Chief Rocker Busy Bee stated “Hip Hop Movement is a term that has been used throughout the past for several decades but it has never been used in an official capacity. Through our efforts, the term and its language will have new meaning" Busy Bee and Ron “Bee-Stinger” Savage that hip hop movement is trademarked now as well as the logo so this is going to be new to them as well as everyone else after so long of hip hop movement not having legal meaning and ownership. Busy Bee and Bee-Stinger stated, "that Hip Hop and Rap are two different things and when artists are recording and talking about shooting guns, disrespecting women, and selling drugs in their records that is not a part of the hip hop movement or hip hop". The official “Six Elements of the Hip Hop Movement" are: Consciousness Awareness, Civil Rights Awareness, Activism Awareness, Justice, Political Awareness, and Community Awareness in music.

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Hip Hop Movement
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Hip Hop Movement, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Bbb23 (talk) 20:18, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Street sting. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. S0091 (talk) 15:15, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
Hip Hop Movement draft Arbitration case request declined
[edit]In response to your request for arbitration of this issue, the Arbitration Committee has agreed that arbitration is not required at this stage. Arbitration on Wikipedia is a lengthy, complicated process that involves the unilateral adjudication of a dispute by an elected committee. Although the Committee's decisions can be useful to certain disputes, in many cases the actual process of arbitration is unenjoyable and time-consuming. Moreover, for most disputes the community maintains an effective set of mechanisms for reaching a compromise or resolving a grievance.
Grievances about the actions of an administrator (like their decision to block an editor, or protect or delete a page) should also be approached in the first instance on the administrator's talk page, but administrators are expected to be accountable and you can ask on the administrators' incidents noticeboard for the action to be reviewed. In the case of deletions by deletion discussion, you can also open a deletion review.
In all cases, you should review Wikipedia:Dispute resolution to learn more about resolving disputes on Wikipedia. The English Wikipedia community has many venues for resolving disputes and grievances, and it is important to explore them instead of requesting arbitration in the first instance. For more information on the process of arbitration, please see the Arbitration Policy and the Guide to Arbitration. I hope this advice is useful, and please do not hesitate to contact myself or a member of the community if you have more questions.
I would just like to reiterate that my talk page is always open for you to ask questions - if I cannot help directly, I can point you to places where you can get help. Alternatively you can reply here - I will keep your talk page on my watchlist for a while. Thanks, firefly ( t · c ) 20:44, 8 August 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Street sting, thank your for your long reply on my talk page but you did not address my concern. What is your affiliation with Ron Savage and the Hip Hop Movement? Please reply here and please also be succinct (try your best not to write a diatribe). S0091 (talk) 22:05, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Firefly: if this has already been addressed in communications to Arbcom then I do not want to belabor this editor to state something they may have already addressed elsewhere. Street sting, I will also rely on you a bit here. If this has already been addressed in private conversations you have had with Arbcom you may simply state so here. - S0091, while I do not know whether Street sting sent any private communications to the Arbitration Committee, nothing has been 'addressed' as such. The Committee chose to decline the case request as premature. firefly ( t · c ) 06:29, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
I don't know Arbcom i just was telling everywhere on here what happened, I don't know who talk page i been on anymore, I just felt I was being attacked because of this hip hop recording artist, Oh, I felt his story and his pain because I can relate to what happened to him, so I read up on him and what was happening to him and I heard of him before in hip hop everybody did, I never knew about the things he said, I just wanted to do something nice for the guy, other than that, thats it. Do you're think you all can get me to meet him? Street sting (talk) 04:59, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
