Welcome back!
Welcome back Steve-Crossin! It's good to have you back around, and I look forward to continuing to work with you. I'm positive that you will not, after all of this, do something stupid on here ever again. I wish you luck, and have fun getting back into it! iMatthew // talk // 00:00, 27 March 2009 (UTC) |
- Thank you :-). The way I edit won't change, I'm sill the "Same old Steve" that you know. And no, I won't do something stupid ever again. Steve Crossin Talk/24 21:52, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

All I'm saying is it's not my fault I live in the UTC zone. :P Welcome back! (Don't worry about the users leaving. Mainly drama. But you're almost immune to it, surely.) Have a good laugh :) GARDEN 20:24, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
- Oh yes. Or, the fact I've got articles to work on helps me overcome the drama, and gives me reason to stay. Steve Crossin Talk/24 20:39, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Hi Steve, good to see you again. Btw, if you miss the Rawat action, there is another arbcom case going on. Plus ça change ... ;-) Take care, Jayen466 21:02, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Steve...! Hi and welcome back! I'm always late with this kind of wiki-news. ;) May this leg of your encyclopedia contributing be fruitful and (relatively) peaceful. :) Jamie☆S93 22:15, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

You asked on IRC...
This is copied over from my post to AN.
Ok, I've went ahead and wrote a script that translated the file on toolserver into something readable and workable with here on wikipedia. I've separated the list into 8 wikipedia pages with sections of 100 articles each. Ideally folks will take a section or two and categorize them as appropriate. Given time this should be done.

Basically go down a section of articles, see if the article is missing category BLP and if it is and is a *living* person add it to that category. Try to be careful though, if you see that the page does not meet WP:BLP, you may choose to nominate it for deletion. If you want to stay away from AFD, which I would understand, you can just keep a list of "suspect" pages somewhere in your userspace and link us to it. —— nixeagleemail me 01:02, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
- Alright, this looks like something I can help out with. I'll add it to my to-do list. Best, Steve Crossin Talk/24 21:52, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
re:24
Oh, it's okay; I don't edit much anymore myself. Most of the trimming is now done, though I'll probably take a second pass once it's fresh again. — Deckiller 02:42, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for being understanding :-) Steve Crossin Talk/24 02:51, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

The author did the page blank there. It is possible that he might want the page deleted. If he does it again, then just tag it with a {{db-author}} (or I will if I see it first). Thanks, MuZemike 04:01, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

The Resilient Barnstar is hereby awarded to Steve Crossin for being able to come back from a ban and still be able to contribute to the project in a positive way and still being a great person and being able to finish with a smile and good attitude. Mifter (talk) 04:25, 28 March 2009 (UTC) |
Thank you. I don't think you accomplish much if you mope about, and have a bad attitude. The ban is over, so there's all the more reason to smile. I'm back doing what I enjoy doing the most. :) Best, Steve Crossin Talk/24 22:18, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Hello
Steve, firstly welcome back.
I would like to say hat before reverting wars and an merger un-doings occur, dialogue should occur. I am willing to do no more merging if you can hold off separating and un-merging articles. that is until such a time as discussions over the merits of the individual articles has taken place.--Lucy-marie (talk) 12:08, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
- Replied on your talk page. Best, Steve Crossin Talk/24 22:18, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- Steve you requested the addition of the merger tag by stating it was missing and a discussion was occurring.--Lucy-marie (talk) 09:08, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
- Replied again on your talk page. Best, Steve Crossin Talk/24 09:58, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

Yeah — I've been around for a long time. Too long! Took an off-and-on Wikibreak during '08, though. — Deckiller 03:00, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Gold
per: the Janis Gold article. I crossed off the sources I've used on the talk page. deleted the episode listing, now that I see the direction to go with other characters. I'm looking at FA fictional characters Bart Simpson, Jack Sparrow for an idea on what is good. I figure I can add the personality section and maybe cultural influence section. I'll do some other search strings as well, to develop some more RS to use. Any feedback you want to add .. give me a clue. It will take me quite a while to view all 7 seasons, but I'll watch a few of season 1 first, then jump to 7. How do you reference the actual episode itself? I tend to cheat with the refs .. I use the cite and ref buttons on my edit toolbar. Haven't really gone looking for other ref templates yet. — Ched ~ (yes?)/© 07:00, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- please spare me the WP:CITE article ... lol — Ched ~ (yes?)/©
- Use {{cite episode}}. Here's an example.
<ref name="s7e1">{{cite episode|title = 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM | series = 24 | serieslink = 24 (TV series) | season = 7 | number = 145|airdate=2009-01-11|credits = Writer: [[Howard Gordon]] Director: [[Jon Cassar]]}}</ref>
.
- Use {{cite episode}}. Here's an example.
If I've got any input to add, I'll let you know, but you're doing a good job. Best, Steve Crossin Talk/24 22:18, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
