The article JSW Bangalore has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is not the name of the club. This is just a mixed name of the company of the place in which the club will play in. If you look at this, you will see that the club will not be officially named until a few weeks from now.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Information icon Hello, I'm ArsenalFan700. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Mohammedan S.C., but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. And many others by the way. I fully appreciate the effort as I do feel it is important for club stadiums to be known but we need to be purely accurate... this is an encyclopedia for gods sake.

Currently there are no reliable sources saying that these grounds are the homes of these clubs. Stat websites like soccerway etc are not reliable here because the changes in Indian football below I-League are not recorded. Cheers. ArsenalFan700 (talk) 00:20, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Well, you did anger me but finally you have come to reply to me so I will calm down. Anyway, no, these clubs use these stadiums but they dont use them as permanent homes. Local leagues are always done in neutral venues. That is how it has always been and how it shall remain till something changes. Also I would like sources because I do not believe that you know that these teams play in these stadiums... Kohima Komets for example. You said they play at Yashwant Stadium. Well let me ask... how the hell can a team from Nagaland play in a stadium in Nagpur!!!??? Ya... it just does not make sense. You really should consult me next time before adding these stadiums. I removed them for a reason. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 23:21, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on ZMAX Dragway (Concord) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.touristlink.com/united-states/charlotte-motor-speedway/overview.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Note on sources

[edit]

I'll add my endorsement to comments from others above.

I've undone your change to Gaelic Grounds because the correct figure was already present in the article and sourced to a reliable source, the Munster GAA website. Please understand that worldstadiums.com's About page makes it clear that content is user-submitted and therefore not WP:RS, and the figures are in any case approximations. Content from such a site should not be used to replace existing reliably sourced capacities. Thank you for your understanding. Struway2 (talk) 11:52, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Albirex Niigata Phnom Penh FC requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. A tag has been placed on Best paid athletes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.forbes.com/athletes/list/#tab:overall.
