Notability
[edit]Articles on Wikipedia have to show the subject is notable (See WP:N) which in most cases requires significant coverage (WP:SIGCOV) in multiple independent (WP:INDY) reliable sources (WP:RS). Also we do not have effectively blank articles with just an infobox. Lastly information requires sources, not assertions.
- See Wikipedia:Notability (music) for notability requirements for music related articles
- See Help:Referencing for beginners for how to reference
- See Help:Your first article for writing articles

License tagging for File:Doja Cat - Amala Deluxe.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Doja Cat - Amala Deluxe.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 05:30, 29 March 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Everybody (Britney Spears song), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 01:05, 8 April 2022 (UTC)

Removing redirects
[edit]Hi! Please do not remove redirects to pages of songs with little to no notability, like what happened to "Go To Town" and "Forever Winter". Please check this guideline that explains why. In short: [the song must have] been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent from the musician or ensemble who created it.
There are, to my understanding, not enough sources that discuss both songs in significant detail (i.e., not just in passing). The rule of thumb is that there should be 3 sources that fulfill the criterion I've quoted above. Thus, the song pages shall remain as redirects. Thanks! elias. 🧣 💬reach out to me

And I will add Maybe You're the Problem to the above. You have multiple messages asking you to please review our notability guidelines. If you need help understanding them, you can always ask for some assistance at the teahouse. -- Whpq (talk) 02:18, 24 April 2022 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Doja Cat - Go to Town.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Doja Cat - Go to Town.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:08, 17 April 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Aura (song), you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 22:59, 2 August 2022 (UTC)
- Aura was only released the same day as "ARTPOP" so I don’t think that release day needs a source Sqftedits (talk) 02:08, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
- I disagree. The release day needs a source. Binksternet (talk) 02:29, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
ok then I can add a source Sqftedits (talk) 05:48, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Pink Venom, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. I do not see any indication anywhere that Adele used these photos as cover artwork for those songs. Saying "Official Twitter of the British singer
" in the source parameter is not sufficient - would you mind providing a source link to a tweet she made that used these? Your Power 🐍 💬 "What did I tell you?"

[edit]Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Aespa discography. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 18:14, 4 November 2023 (UTC)
