Oh really?! – Actor Reginald Denny listens to all aspects of a Wikipedia discussion

Thanks

[edit]

Hey Sprachraum thanks for your comments and I hope you didn't feel harried by my replies. My concern is that the term "fictional" has been added, effectively, with no sources to support it because some editors are uncomfortable with the content in the documentary. That said, I appreciate your taking the time to comment on the RfC and reply! Again, apologies for my back-and-forth. -Darouet (talk) 23:34, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Darouet, no worries! I hope you get the dispute settled in your favour. I just felt I had gotten sucked in enough, so I signaled it would be my final answer – otherwise I was itching to reply to the person below us that no, a "biopic" taking dramatic license is not the same as a documentary taking dramatic license! But I figured I should rather get back to my current work...

Flag proposals/response

[edit]

Hi I have seen what you said and I will continue to make improvements on the east Germany Flag proposals. I also would be fine moving it to the other article for east Germany, but it will take a bit for me to do if I'm going to do it. I am new to Wikipedia so thanks for the help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zyxrq (talkcontribs) 02:13, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Zyxrq, thanks for working on this, and I'm glad to help, because Wikipedia can have a daunting learning curve at the beginning. On that note: I just added a suggestion on encyclopedic writing style to your talk page.
By the way, when a conversation about a certain topic has started on one talk page, it is better to continue it on the same talk page, otherwise things can become a bit confusing. So if you have more to say about the points I made on your user page, do it there.
Another thing: When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or even easier:
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
All the best from --Sprachraum (talk) 02:31, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I see you’re a member of the WikiProject Actors. I made a number of proposals to update the article about the actor Jamie Costa posted here Talk: Jamie Costa#Proposals for December 2022. I’m unable to do the edits since I have a personal connection to Costa. Could you possibly take a look at these edit suggestions? Thank you! EdwardPS19 (talk) 19:47, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
