Arch of Charents moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Arch of Charents. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Annh07 (talk) 07:56, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Annh07, I would like to ask you how many more sources I need to establish notability. I also have to ask you about translations, because this article is based on a place that has been written in German and Western Armenian. I would like to know how I would be able to possibly link them up after my page is ready to be published. Spino-Soar-Us (talk) 08:25, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, please read Wikipedia:Notability and Wikipedia:Notability (geographic features), which are the criteria for determining the notability of this article's subject. If you have reliable and in-depth sources, 3-4 sources are enough (WP:THREE). Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified (you may cite German or Armenian sources). The sources you provided in the article are not reliable sources so I have removed them per WP:UGC and WP:ELNO. Annh07 (talk) 09:44, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry Annh07, but you misunderstood me. I wasn't talking about the sources when I said the German and Western Armenian article but the pages like this link
https://hy.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D5%89%D5%A1%D6%80%D5%A5%D5%B6%D6%81%D5%AB_%D5%AF%D5%A1%D5%B4%D5%A1%D6%80_%D5%B0%D5%B8%D6%82%D5%B7%D5%A1%D6%80%D5%B1%D5%A1%D5%B6_(%D5%88%D5%B2%D5%BB%D5%A1%D5%A2%D5%A5%D6%80%D5%A4).
I was asking about how I could connect these articles with the different types of languages that are above for the view history and edit source. I also want to mention that use of the YouTube video " Ռաֆայել Իսրայելյան" was used in the Western Armenian version (same link above) of the website and is the only reason why I used it. Unless you again say that it's unreliable, I am going to add it, but thank you for suggesting improvements on my page. But thank you for suggesting improvements on my page and thank you for telling me as much as you have on my talk page. Spino-Soar-Us (talk) 12:08, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please read WP:INTERWIKI, I hope it will help you.
Also you need to know that Wikipedia projects are independent, some sources may be acceptable for Armenian Wikipedia but may not be acceptable for English Wikipedia. Youtube is not a reliable source, per WP:RSPYT. Annh07 (talk) 14:20, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Edawrd-Woodrow. on the 5th of November, you declined the article called Draft:Arch of Charents. One of the reasons you listed was reliable sourcing, and I wondered which one of the sources was unreliable. Also, I am also asking if the sources that I found would be reliable (they are written in Armenian but if you need the translation button is still there for the entire page). The sources are [1], [2] and [3]. Also, I would like to thank you for helping me with this article and for the feedback that you presented I will try to use in correcting the article. Thank You Spino-Soar-Us (talk) 22:31, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Trollhunters

[edit]

Excuse me, but Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans was produced under DreamWorks Animation Television. Not the main company itself. Could you remove the film from the List of DreamWorks Animation productions and leave it in the DreamWorks Animation Television page please? 107.77.198.83 (talk) 00:52, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Crood Awakening

[edit]

I noticed you placed Crood Awakening back on the List of unproduced DreamWorks Animation projects article after I had removed it. I provided an explanation since it was repurposed into The Croods. When the film was first announced in 2005, this was the general synopsis:

Set in the Stone Age, "Crood Awakening" is a comedy about a big man in a small village called Crood. His position as Leader of the Hunt is threatened by the arrival of a prehistoric genius who comes up with revolutionary new inventions like fire.

I'm sure you are fully aware that animated films constantly go through various cycles of development, but the general idea of the film stayed the same. I am advocating its removal based on this. PrinceArchelaus (talk) 05:18, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of extinct languages of Asia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Akkad. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Norwegian Crusade

[edit]

Information icon Hi Spino-Soar-Us! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Norwegian Crusade that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. See also WP:CATSPECIFIC before adding duplicate categories. TylerBurden (talk) 18:28, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello TylerBurden! First of all, thank you for explaining what minor edits are for. Although I have been editing articles for two years now, I still am learning stuff and didn't know before you told me what minor articles specifically meant. But, I just want to clarify my point on the category of crusades as I have seen you reverting my edits on it. I saw the reason why you were removing the category was because it article already had a specific category that went to the Norwegian Crusade. This category had a problem where it wasn't connected to the Crusades category itself, so I have made it a subcategory. But I still believe that the Norwegian Crusade article should have the category specifically on Category:Crusades because it is a major crusade and crusades like the Albigensian Crusade and the Nicaean–Latin wars. I won't change it anymore and I would like to know your opinions on why the category shouldn't specifically be on the article. Thank You Spino-Soar-Us (talk) 01:45, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, the reason is WP:CATSPECIFIC. The Norwegian Crusade subcategory itself is part of the Crusades category. If you look at https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Category:Crusades you will see it listed there. TylerBurden (talk) 19:57, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
All great! I just want to say that I added that recently but prior to that when I was editing on the article itself, they weren't connected. But thank you for clearing this up. Spino-Soar-Us (talk) 05:47, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Spino-Soar-Us. Thank you for your work on Gasgu language. Another editor, MPGuy2824, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Please mention this at the target page with a good reference.

@MPGuy2824:Hi and thank you for your message. The reason why I did add Gasgu language onto the Kaskian language page is because the Kaskians article has a source and mentions Gasgu as one of the names for the Kaskians. I do not have a specific source for the Kaskian language also being named the Gasgu language, so I am asking you what should I do? Thank You Spino-Soar-Us (talk) 02:55, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That page says 'Gasga' (as one of the names of the Kaska people. Should we change the language redirect accordingly? -MPGuy2824 (talk) 05:28, 23 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't believe the language redirect should be changed as the article Kaskians doesn't mention the language as the Kaskian language article exists to talk about the language. I believe that we could assume the Gasgu language is the same as the Kaskian language, which is why I believe the redirect should remain the same.
