Ethnicity in character bio intro
[edit]I noticed that you have been adding ethnicity descriptions of the form xxxx-American to a number of articles. See WP:OPENPARA for what generally goes in intro and lead. Nationality is where the person was notable. Ethnicity and place of birth is seldom important to notability but gets mentioned when it is but generally not in the intro sentence. Recent edits to James Bowie
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, James Bowie, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Bowie's Mexican citizenship
[edit]In your edit summary (here) you claimed that Bowie's Mexican citizenship is little known and implied that your contribution was to enlighten readers about this fac. However, that was not the best way to accomplish your goal. Instead, add a reliable source (peer-review) and place that information in the text in a matter that follows the narrative, and not in the lede. As Geraldo Perez explained to you before (here), the citizenship mentioned in the lede is from where the person in question was born or was recognized. Hope you could help us improve the article following Wikipedia's guidelines. Let me know how I could help. Caballero/Historiador ⎌ 19:13, 7 December 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm NonsensicalSystem. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Morgan Harper (lawyer), but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! NonsensicalSystem(error?)(.log) 09:39, 24 February 2022 (UTC)
