List of Institutions

[edit]

I find that you placed a list of institutions on the Bankura district page. Obviously, a district page or any other page cannot accommodate such big lists. Therefore, I deleted it. You can create a separate page/ pages for such lists. As for example you can create a list of schools in Bankura district or it can as you decide. I find that you have already worked in Bengali wiki and so you are probably familiar with page creation. However, if you need my help you can get in touch with me. Cheers. - Chandan Guha (talk) 14:49, 8 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that. I considered removing the list and creating a list article instead, but still kept it. I'm a little bit busy these days so I would really be grateful to you if you could create the page. Thanks. Soumyapatra13 (talk) 18:26, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It is next to impossible to rephrase a short sentence like this bearing precise scientific terminologies whithout significant loss of information and meaning. Nevertheless, I understand the policies quite well and my line was evidently distinct except for the jargons. Thanks for bringing it to my attention that it was still insufficient, I have further modified it. Soumyapatra13 (talk) 22:21, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, the source is a public domain govt. publication. Soumyapatra13 (talk) 13:57, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Soumyapatra13
Even it's public domain, you should use on your own words and not to copy-paste it. Royiswariii Talk! 14:01, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the reply. The source itself is a list, part of which has no english words, only names of the chemicals and hence cannot be paraphrased. Can you please check and let me know if that's still unacceptable? Soumyapatra13 (talk) 14:04, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As per checking, I confirm that the websites are public domain and controlled by government.
The copyvio notice in the article was removed. Apologize for my mistake. Royiswariii Talk! 14:13, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with Einstein's general theory of relativity PROD

[edit]

Hi, I'm That Tired Tarantula. I noticed the PROD you placed on Problems with Einstein's general theory of relativity earlier. I think that deletion is definitely a possibility, but XfD would probably be better, since it'll be easier to discuss it and come to a consensus there; even though there are several problems with this article, the PROD might just get removed because this article is pretty big and this is a fairly complex topic and from looking at it, it's kind of hard to figure out exactly what it's saying. That Tired TarantulaBurrow 22:48, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, Criticism of the theory of relativity already covers the topic; earlier, I was kind of on the fence about deleting the PRODed article because I thought that it could be draftified and changed to document theories that were already out there, how they'd been tested, and ways in which the theory of relativity may be incomplete, but the other article already does that. I'm still worried that someone could remove the PROD, though. I'll go ahead and second the nomination. :) That Tired TarantulaBurrow 00:13, 11 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
