Namumula (Maki song)

[edit]

Hi! Just wanted to drop by and point out that while your efforts to contributing to Wikipedia are appreciated, your article Namumula (Maki song) is not yet considered to be notable enough for its own page. Please see Wikipedia:NSONG and Wikipedia:Notability (music) for reference. Relatedly, I think it would be better to convert/create pages for "Dilaw (song)" and Maki instead since neither seem to have one, but I recommend taking the time to edit a couple more pages to gain more experience first before making a new article from scratch.

Kindly also note that if "Namumula" will need a page, the article title should just be Namumula and not Namumula (Maki song). You can check Wikipedia:Article titles and Wikipedia:Disambiguation to learn more about this. Thanks! Freedom Wall (talk) 18:14, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Freedom Wall!
Thank you for your feedback and suggestions! I changed the title from 'Namumula (Maki song)' to 'Namumula.' The article is currently a stub, so others can expand it. I'm also working on creating an article for 'Dilaw (song).' Royiswariii (talk) 01:58, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Namumula moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Namumula, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Notice

The article Maloi (singer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:BANDMEMBER; all references reference her membership to Bini (group), clearly not demonstrating "individual notability".

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. [edit]

Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Colet (singer). This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 19:31, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Royiswariii,
Please do not randomly move pages around on the project, especially to inappropriate namespaces. You should have a very good reason to move an article, ideally you'll discuss it first on the article talk page or at Wikipedia:Requested moves. Please be more careful in the future.
If you have questions about moving pages on the project, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 19:35, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you disagree about a PROD tag, then remove the tag or raise an objection on the article talk page, don't move around the article, which is just disruptive. Unlike CSD Speedy Deletion tags or AFD discussion tags, Proposed Deletion tags (PRODs) can be removed if you object to the deletion reason given in the tag. So, simply do that, don't move the article in response to a PROD tagging. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 19:40, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

File:Dilaw_album_cover.jpg

[edit]

Hello, @Royiswariii! I want to notify you that I have suggested the file you uploaded, File:Dilaw album cover.jpg, to be renamed to File:Dilaw by Maki cover art.jpg for the reason: Omitting "album" since "Dilaw" by Maki is a song (WP:FNC#5). You can view this change in the file's history or directly at revision 1242366152. AstrooKai (TalkContribs) 14:01, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, @AstrooKai!
Thanks for suggesting to move the file. When I uploaded it, I didn't realize I typed 'album' instead of just 'cover.' It ended up being a disaster. Royiswariii (talk) 14:09, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. In the future, if you again mistakenly named a file, you can suggest it to be renamed using {{Rename media}}. AstrooKai (TalkContribs) 14:20, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Dilaw (song)

[edit]

The article Dilaw (song) you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Dilaw (song) for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. A Barnstar for you!

The Civility Barnstar
I just wanted to thank you for being so open to critism with your GAN. I know it can be hard to be on the recieving side of a review and I'm thankful that you handled it with so much grace. I hope you're not discouraged by your GAN being failed. Keep up the hard work! CursedWithTheAbilityToDoTheMath (talk) 01:26, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the barnstar, @CursedWithTheAbilityToDoTheMath! I really appreciate it! Keep up the good work reviewing other articles. Royiswariii (talk) 01:29, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Sining (song)

[edit]

Hello! I want to notify you that I have moved the content of the Promotion and release section of your Draft:Sining (song) article to Composition. This is because the prose talks about how the song was composed, which falls under the section's scope. You can see revision 1243614723 for more details.

As a result, no Promotion and release exists in the article. You can create this section again if you have information regarding the song's promotion and release. I would also like to note that the text in the Background section seems to be more appropriate to be placed under the Promotion and release section, since it talks about the song's release rather than giving a background about the song.

If you have further questions regarding this revision, feel free to drop it here. Happy editing! AstrooKai (TalkContribs) 13:31, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
