Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Johan Cruyff Institute, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Learning-by-doing. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi! I've reverted your mistaken edit to that page – a safe rule of thumb is: if you don't know what you are doing, you probably shouldn't be doing it. I notice that you wrote in your edit summary "In any case, we do have permission from the source to add it in here". Who are "we"? Are you aware that Wikipedia user accounts are for individual use only? If there's more than one of you, you must have an account for each. If you are editing on behalf of some corporation or organisation you must make proper disclosure. Thanks, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 14:53, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your suggestion

[edit]

When I said "we" I meant that I asked Marinella Senatore about this contribution since you made me notice it had a copyright infringement. I'm not editing on behalf of anyone, nor some corporation or organisation. I'm earning nothing in any way, just wanted to add information I have about her. I'm doing it as an contribution to Wikipedia, since I know the work of this artist and I thought it would be good if she is be listed in here. I'm sorry if I did it wrong. I agree with you with you in "if you do not know what you are doing, you probably should not be doing it". So, I'm gonna inform myself better next time. If you don't know this artist work and how much she is doing for communities through art, I recommend you to take a look. Now I know that I'm not the best one to edit or add information here about her. So, I would love that someone else could do it. Thank you for your time and for your work in Wikipedia :) Soledad Arismendi 15:41, 9 July 2018 (UTC)

Thank you for clearing that up! If you are an acquaintance or friend of the artist, you are considered here to have what we call a conflict of interest. You shouldn't edit the page about her, but are always welcome to propose improvements on the talk-page, Talk:Marinella Senatore. But do please remember that we have more than five million articles, and many of them urgently need attention. How much do you know about Sandro Chia, just to take one example? - there's plenty of scope for expansion there. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 16:35, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Your answer is really clear, so thank you. I'm not a friend of her. I did know her because of her work and since then, I follow up what she's doing. Actually, I did have plans to update her Wikipedia's page, but now, I know I'm not the one that should do so.

And, "Sandro Chia is an Italian painter and sculptor". Guess where I learnt it? Thank you again, specially for your work in here! Cheers! Soledad Arismendi 16:50, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
