Cordelia Street statue moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Cordelia Street statue, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. signed, 511KeV (talk) 02:43, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Unreliable sources

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for contributing to the article Grime music. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. If you require further assistance, please look at Help:Menu/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:07, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to challenge this if possible. Roman Road LDN is a credible and established newspaper in East London, with numerous grime features written by professional journalists. It is monitored by IMPRESS and part of ICNN, a national membership scheme for independent newsrooms. Indeed the article on Rhythm Division is considered seminal and is linked to by New York Times. I would be grateful if you could reconsider. SocialStreets (talk) 16:12, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OK, you've convinced me. I've restored it. Cheers, OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:36, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Much appreciated and thanks for being willing to reconsider. SocialStreets (talk) 16:42, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
