[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page List of modern equipment of the Azerbaijani Air Force has been reverted.
Your edit here to List of modern equipment of the Azerbaijani Air Force was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline (see also this list of frequently-discussed sources). The reference(s) you added or changed (https://ru.armeniasputnik.am/20171023/cennyj-partner-kakoe-oruzhie-zakupil-azerbajdzhan-u-belarusi-za-15-let-9155923.html) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Block
[edit]{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. El_C 02:07, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Look, Smorkach 24, this is probably your last chance to correct your approach to editing here, as the next block is likely to be set not to expire. You are still adding fabrications to pages. For example, at the IAI Heron page, you've changed the number of units from 5 to 15 (diff), even though the existing source states that the number is 5. How do you explain this? And what does the edit summary that you used for that, Данные взял у Sipri
, even mean? This is the English Wikipedia, so you are required to explain yourself in English.
The problem remains that you continue to communicate poorly, if at all. As far as I can see, throughout your editing you've used a talk page a total of one time, at Talk:List of equipment of the Azerbaijani Land Forces (diff), where you list various purchases, but without a source. In general, without a reliable source, we can't verify that what you are saying is factual. It may well be, but that needs to be proven. Proven with pertinent citations. We cannot take your word on faith. To sum up: you cannot modify something that contradicts an existing source (if you make such a change, you need a new source that backs that up). And you need to communicate better (i.e. few of us read Cyrillic, etc.). Thank you. El_C 02:07, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
- The fact is that I forgot that I am on the English Wikipedia and I also wanted to indicate the number 15 from another source. I ask that you unblock me and I will add a source where it indicates the number 15. The fact is that 5 units were purchased only in 2008 but then there were new parties. Smorkach 24 (talk) 06:41, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
- Smorkach 24, if it was a one-off limited to just that one isolated example, then that explanation would probably suffice. But, as mentioned, you've been warned many times, you've already been blocked. And, as I noted above, you've been communicating poorly (which is to say, hardly at all) — this you have yet to address.
- It really shouldn't take a lengthy block to get you to respond to the concerns of your colleagues. So, I'm sorry to say, but all of that calls into question your competence in editing here. I think more detailed assurances are needed if you are to convince myself or any reviewing admin that the block ought to be lifted. El_C 14:44, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
- The source that indicates the number 5 is an old information. As of 2015, Azerbaijan had 15 units. Before, I didn’t know what a source was and thought that I just needed to change, but after that I found out that I should write information on Wikipedia from various sources. I I ask that you unblock me and if this happens again you can block me forever. Thank you. Smorkach 24 (talk) 15:53, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
- Yeah, I gathered you maintain it's old info. Can you please cite that source here for me to look at? Thanks. El_C 13:44, 14 September 2022 (UTC)

- Unfortunately, a self-published source like LiveJournal isn't considered reliable on Wikipedia. See WP:RSP#LiveJournal. See WP:RS for the reliable sources guideline. Do you have a better source? Maybe whatever source Oleg Granovsky (who admittedly does appear to be a military expert) based their data on?
- Please also review WP:INDENT on how to have a threaded discussion (so that I wouldn't have to keep doing it for you). WP:PING me for a quicker response. Thank you. El_C 16:20, 14 September 2022 (UTC)

Hello again. I hope you haven't been discouraged too much by what I had written above. I would just rather make sure that I send you on your way (i.e. unblock you) with the tools and information on how to effectively communicate on Wikipedia (which admittedly could be counter-intuitive), as well as guide you on the kind of citations that are suitable, and so on. Thank you. El_C 19:00, 17 September 2022 (UTC)
- Hello. Besides the source that I sent you, I no longer have a source, but when I find it, I send it to you right away. Smorkach 24 (talk) 20:34, 17 September 2022 (UTC)
- It's okay, don't worry about that, specifically. It was just an example, to show you why folks may have had concerns. So please keep the following in mind: if you have doubts about whether a source is suitable for Wikipedia, ask on the respective article talk page or at WP:RSN. Which can be especially tricky for non-English sources (trust me, I'm a non-English speaker, too, so I know). As a military expert, Oleg Granovsky's LiveJournal page is okay for analysis, but as far as data like military purchases and so on, probably not.
- The other thing I wanted you to get a decent grasp on was communicating effectively, because Wikipedia:Communication is required on Wikipedia. That's why I mentioned WP:INDENT, which I had to do for you right now yet again. But it isn't complicated, just look at the WP:DIFF of what I did right here (I'll add it in a moment and bold it for emphasis). Likewise, WP:PING is really simple, too. You can add a user name like so (I'll use my own as an example): {{re|El_C}}, or {{u|El_C}}, or simply link it [[User:El_C]] or [[User:El_C|El_C]]. The point, then, is to get a grasp of those communication basics.
- Anyway, I'm gonna unblock you now and hope that you'll be erring on the side of caution from my now on. Please don't let me down. Best of luck! El_C 23:50, 17 September 2022 (UTC)
