I saw your question to DGG and took a look at your draft, as I've written several articles on books. The problem with the draft, as I see it, is that it doesn't meet the criteria for notability (books). The only possibility for establishing notability for this book is #1 (The book has been the subject of two or more non-trivial published works appearing in sources that are independent of the book itself.) but I can't find any book reviews on that specific novel. All of the sourced content in the draft is about L'Amour and his books in general, not about The Daybreakers specifically. I'm afraid without at least two substantial reviews, you can't support individual notability for this one novel. (It's a shame, it's an excellent book.) Hi User:Schazjmd, I'm just curious, how did Ferguson Rifle get published? It has no references at all. --Slowmusketeer (talk) 20:17, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You mean The Ferguson Rifle. Good question. That article was written in 2005, Wikipedia's much earlier years (think equivalent to Wild West days) before serious attention to verifiability and notability was paid. There are probably thousands of articles written back then that would not be accepted today. When you find one, you're welcome to nominate it for deletion (see WP:XFD) if you think it doesn't meet current standards. Schazjmd (talk) 20:24, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, yes, that's what I meant. Well, dang. L'Amour was such a prolific and influential writer, and his Sackett series was so popular, I didn't think it would be this hard to get an article on one of these novels published here. Thanks. --Slowmusketeer (talk) 20:49, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I've added the [citation needed] tag to the birthplace. Would you be able to add a citation (preferably in the article, but infobox is alright) to the article? Citing Instagram should be fine under these circumstances, as it's not an extraordinary claim. Thanks! Schrödinger's jellyfish  07:35, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, here is the Instagram post, can you add it? I'm afraid I'll mess it up. My skills are rusty. https://www.instagram.com/p/CnUyLVcPErl/
