Hello, SimoneRCGP, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was British Journal of General Practice, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Hi RandyKitty, yes I am helping out the BJGP, who asked me to update the page because the text is out of date, and the image no longer represents the cover image of the BJGP. What do we need to do? The text I was asked to update the BJGP page with is:

"The British Journal of General Practice is a monthly peer-reviewed medical journal for general practitioners and primary care researchers. Publication of original research papers has always been at the core of the BJGP. The journal operates a system of open peer review, so that authors and reviewers are aware of each other’s identities. The acceptance rate for original research papers is approximately 15%, and most authors receive a final decision on final acceptance or rejection within 2 months. The journal provides facilities for open access publication. The BJGP also carries editorials on clinical and policy topics, debate and analysis, clinical guidance, and a section called 'Out of Hours' which contains reviews of art, books, and film as well as Viewpoints, polemic, and entertainment. In the course of its history, the journal has had seven editors: the present Editor is Professor Roger Jones, and the Deputy Editor is Dr Euan Lawson. The editorial office and the journal team are located at the Royal College of General Practitioners, London. The BJGP is editorially independent of the College." I also have a new cover image - what do I need to do, it all looks rather complicated. There is also some out of date imformation on the Royal College of General Practitioners page, in the publications section, which lists publications that no longer exist.

What do I need to do? [[[User:SimoneRCGP|SimoneRCGP]] (talk) 16:02, 2 March 2015 (UTC)]

Hi Simone. I have uploaded a new cover of the magazine. I chose the January 2015 issue because the February and March covers both include images that are the property of Getty Images, and they are very strict about not allowing their stuff being reproduced here, even as non-free content. Your prose addition looks okay, but will need sources. -- Diannaa (talk) 21:46, 2 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi SimoneRCGP, as there is a potential conflict of interest between yourself and the article it will be best to make this request using a requested edit. If you go to the talk page of the article and start a new section with {{edit COI}} and then explain what sections you wish to replace with what.
It will need to be formatted in a replace sentance X with Y format. This will allow anotehr editor to review the edit and make the changes nessecary if they can confirm it meets the various policies in question such as neutrality and non-promotional. If you can provide references for each update as well this would be helpful as it will save the other editors time when examining the request. Amortias (T)(C) 21:49, 2 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Update text on BJGP page

Hi Editor,

Please would you update the Impact Factor in "Abstracting and indexing"

Please replace "it has a 2014 impact factor of 2.294." with "it has a 2015 impact factor of 2.741.

Also, please update the Impact Factor in the side margin, under the cover image?

Please replace Impact Factor “(2014) 2.294” with Impact Factor “(2015) 2.741”

There are some references online, but most need a login ISI web of science – http://wok.mimas.ac.uk/ (thomsonreuters.com/)

We have updated the BJGP About Page – http://bjgp.org/page/about with the new figure.

Many thanks, Simone (SimoneRCGP (talk) 09:34, 15 June 2016 (UTC))[reply]

Done Luckily my institution has a subscription and I was able to verify this. I've just accepted this edit request. st170etalk 14:44, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Editor,

With regard to the Wikipedia page: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Neuro-linguistic_programming.

Please would you update the weblinks in the ‘Notes and references’ section, for references 82. and 95. in this article (I’ve listed the reference below).

The Ingenta links behind the words, "Neurolinguistic programming: a systematic review of the effects on health outcomes" no longer work in these references.

Please change the link info from ‘http://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/rcgp/bjgp/2012/00000062/00000604/art00031’ to the article at: ‘http://bjgp.org/content/62/604/e757’

On the page it looks like this:

82. ^ Sturt, Jackie; Ali, Saima; Robertson, Wendy; Metcalfe, David; Grove, Amy; Bourne, Claire; Bridle, Chris (November 2012). "Neurolinguistic programming: a systematic review of the effects on health outcomes". British Journal of General Practice (Royal College of General Practitioners) 62 (604): e757–64. doi:10.3399/bjgp12X658287. 23211179.

95. ^ [3rd bulletpoint] • Sturt, Jackie; Ali, Saima; Robertson, Wendy; Metcalfe, David; Grove, Amy; Bourne, Claire; Bridle, Chris (November 2012). - I previously submitted this request, but I think the speech marks may have stopped the link working and the change was rejected -
