You may have editorial experience for movie plots in the past, however, be aware that there are specific guidelines for writing plot sections on Wikipedia; specifically Wikipedia is not supposed to be solely plot summaries, Writing about fiction, and the manual of style for film articles that suggests that movie plots be between 400-700 words. Going into the details that the current summary that you've reverted to is too much coverage for Wikipedia, which is why a condensed version that hits the major elements of the plot is all that is necessary. We also should be avoiding the short paragraphs that this approach uses. --MASEM 17:49, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Template:US Presidents, did not appear to be constructive and has been removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Yankee Stadium moves

[edit]

Your non-consensual, undiscussed moves of Yankee Stadium and New Yankee Stadium have been reverted. You are welcome to discuss your preferences for changing the names on the respective talk pages, and even propose a formal move if you like. Howver, please do not attempt to move the pages until a consensus for new titles has been achieved. Thanks. - BillCJ (talk) 17:12, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism warning

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to User talk:BillCJ, are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop. Consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Block

[edit]
This account, Sigma Epsilon Chi, has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because Organization names should not be user names.
This is often not a reflection on the user, and you are encouraged to choose a new account name which does meet our guidelines and are invited to contribute to Wikipedia under an appropriate username. If you feel this block was made in error, you may quickly and easily appeal it - see below.

Our username policy provides guidance on selecting your username. In brief, usernames should not be offensive, disruptive, promotional, related to a 'real-world' group or organization, or misleading. Also, usernames may not end with the string "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.

If you have already made edits and wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name you may request a change in username. To do so, please follow these directions:

  1. Add {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. This is possible because even when you are blocked, you can still edit your own talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note, you may only request a name that is not already in use. The account is created upon acceptance – do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change since we can far easier allocate your new name to you, if it is not yet used. Usernames that have already been taken are listed here. For more information, please visit Wikipedia:Changing username.
  4. In the alternative, you can "abandon" the contributions under this username and create a new account, which is much faster and easier.
Last, the automated software systems that prevent vandalism may have been activated, which can cause new account creation to be blocked also. If you have not acted in a deliberately inappropriate manner, please let us know if this happens, and we will deactivate the block as soon as possible. You may also appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below or emailing the administrator who blocked you.

{{unblock-un|대화재}}

You have been unblocked to request your username change; please note that non latin usernames should have latin signatures, and are potentially confusing; it may not be the best choice to pick one. — Coren (talk) 01:54, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Michael Vick. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. You have reverted it 3 times please discuss this and provide a source that says he is not a current player under suspension. Reblocked

[edit]

Your account has been blocked again, since you did not request a name change (which was the only reason why you had been unblocked). — Coren (talk) 23:09, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
