Tal Itzhaki
[edit]Hello and thank you for your contribution. The Prizes and Citations section of the articles contains too much text, which does not have an informative contexts, but saying how Tal is great. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia and when text does not have an informative context, it does not belong here. Arthistorian1977 (talk) 11:05, 13 August 2017 (UTC) Sfine8 (talk) 13:02, 13 August 2017 (UTC)Hi, well, on this point I beg to differ: Itzhaki has a whole treasure of praising reviews on her work, which makes her an internationally known and appreciated scenographer. I compared with similar articles, and out of piles and piles of favorable reviews I have chosen four, all related to works which received special prizes. I also selected a partial list of her works (she did over 250 ). However, I appreciate very much the order you have put into the article, which now looks much better organized than I have done. I am looking for more visual material for the gallery, including her mostly known works. I prepare more articles on other theatre creators, some US based and some Israeli. have a great day. Sarah. [edit]Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Avraham Oz. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg
.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! [edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tal Itzhaki, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page HaMidrasha (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). [edit]Alfa Theatre moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Alfa Theatre, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Celestina007 (talk) 09:35, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
Hi Celestina, I am trying to understand what kind of extra "sources" you required as to move my article on Alfa Theatre to draftspace. The theatre exists and operate for years, has reviews and is recognized by the Israeli Ministry of Culture and Sport and the Municipality of Tel Aviv. Do you kindly care to tell me what "reliable sources" do you need to approve the article? Do you need a verification statement from the official Board of the Theatre? The Israeli Ministry of Culture and Sport or the Municipality of Tel Aviv, both of which recognize and support the Alfa Theatre? The police? If you have any specific questions regarding the article, I will be more than happy to provide answers; but I have contributed many entries to Wikipedia in the past, and I must admit I never seen such a general, unexplained requirement, so I will be grateful if you care to enlighten me. Sincerely, Dr Sarah Fine, New York and Tel Aviv. Sfine8 (talk) 14:21, 3 July 2020 (UTC)sfine8
And by the way, there is a published article on Alfa Theatre on the Hebrew Wikipedia, as there is a mention of Alfa theatre on the long existing entry on the English Wikipedia on the Academy of Performing Arts, Tel Aviv. Aren't those qualified as "reliable sources? Sfine8 (talk) 14:39, 3 July 2020 (UTC)sfine8
