Tagalog Wikipedia

Manila map

Your manila map is very nice, but it doesn't show the boundaries of the Manila city districts (Tondo, Sampaloc etc). I have searched Google but I can't find a map which shows these boundaries. Do you have one or know of where I can find one? Intelligent Mr Toad (talk) 23:13, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

Seav, are you able to change this growth rate, to an annual growth? It should be the nth root of the difference between the two censuses.

About San Pablo City

As you were editing the article in regards to the city where I live in (December 2007), you have noticed the name, which appeared starting from this edit. I don't care who "John Kenneth G. Manozon" is. For less than 50 edits ago (including my most recent, found here), his name appeared on that article. "According to the research of John Kenneth...." was one of the most enduring piece of vandalism since John Sieganthaler (whoever he is). Now, that piece of bolahan is now part of the revision history of the article, and not on the actual article.

And I added a part regarding the closure of the Franklin Baker coconut dessication factory there as well, just to update the article. I also watched on TV Patrol last night that there's a certain dispute regarding a river being dammed by a designer (probably about property rights and all). Hmm, I haven't been keeping up with the discussion much, have I.

  • The Cebu Philippine Open Source Summit... that's on June 23-24. I'll be in Cebu at that time but I don't think I'll be attending that POSS, especially seeing the fees at the registration page. If there's a meetup in Cebu away from the POSS I may be willing to attend if there's enough participants... so it's not just me and some other guy on a date. :p
  • Jojit fb emailed me about the Wikimedia Philippines thing.. yeah I guess I'm willing to be an incorporator. :) I'll put "accepted" at this talk page.

Math ratings and Bplus articles

The summary tables for math articles, generated by VeblenBot, are listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Mathematics/Wikipedia_1.0/Table. These tables already correctly separate the Bplus and GA articles. Your change would break the bot code, however, because the code was written to work with the current setup. So I have backed out your change, and added a note to warn future editors that the math rating template has to be kept in sync with the bot code.

The main purposes of the bot are to separate the GA and Bplus articles so that the tables are correct, and to make subtables by topic. Because the math project uses an extra grade not present in the tables generated by WP 1.0 bot, the WP 1.0 bot tables will always be incorrect; to get correct figures you need to look at VeblenBot's tables. — Carl (CBM · talk) 14:09, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

Pasig River Drainage Basin

Hey...this is source/reference for my Pasig-Marikina River system map:

I used photoshop to add colors to the map but basically it is still the original. The file I uploaded needs so much improvement, I'm a beginner in photoshop image editing.   • I did redirect it to Miguel Lopez de Legazpi at first, but the dates (particularly the years) didn't match? You could probably assist in verifying this. It is probably a mistake by the author. Just let me know, perhaps it is better to re-redirect, if this can't be re-verified. Most likely, the author made a mistake: Manuel de Legazpi appears on the Cast of Principal Characters: The Spanish page but doesn't in the Index; the Index, however, shows Lopez de Legazpi, Miguel. Tagalog Wikipedia

Hello there. Just want to notify you about some recent developments at Tagalog Wikipedia. There is still a pending RfA regarding User:Delfindakila. I believe he is ready to be an admin over there. There are also other potential users who can become admins someday or sooner. One notable contributor at present is User:Nickrds09 who's being active at Kasalukuyang Kaganapan and other Philippine related pages. He's not yet been nominated, but definitely he will be. Locator maps license

I'm running through the Commons and adding cc-by-sa-3.0 to all the city/town locator maps I made. Aside from the maps for the towns of Dinagat Islands, your maps (Albay, Laguna, Rizal, Metro Manila) are just under GFDL.
