File source problem with File:Euclid1.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Euclid1.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:19, 12 August 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 04:19, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Ian Gawler.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Ian Gawler.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 08:05, 10 December 2010 (UTC)

File:Siddhartha Mukharjee.jpg missing description details
[edit]Hi, Just observation through confusion - why does the Wikipedia page top-right box lists the good doctor's "Nationality" using the term "Indian-American"? India never had any concept of dual-citizenship for any citizen born in India or anyone who received citizenship after being born anywhere else in the world. Indian-American is a term used by USA communities to refer to their ethnic or origin nation. Citizens of India born anywhere who are not permanently residing in India can apply for NRI Status (Non-Resident Indian) so as to not be subjected to double-taxation of Income Tax payable to USA (employer nation) and India (actual citizenship). No provision in any law or Constitution of India has ever provided the option of dual-citizenship to citizens who were already citizens of India. Now if a European nation which offers dual-citizenship may have a citizen who wants to be a citizen of India but it is not at all possible unless he/she agrees to and ends their current citizenship of that European nation and provides the documentation of the same for receiving the citizenship process in India.
Just saying - "Nationality" is a legal term whereas all the other cultural or trending terms cannot give citizenship status to anyone anywhere in the world. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 43.243.83.174 (talk) 16:14, 7 November 2018 (UTC)

[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Sealpoint33 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. mhking (talk) 22:47, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

Regarding File:Bobjones1972.jpg
[edit]I took this photo myself but unsure how to make copyright coincide with Wikipedia. Any ideas? sealpoint33
The article Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Commission has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- this article fails to comply with WP:ORG
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. John Hyams (talk) 00:12, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
