Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Scraye, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:Scraye/sandbox, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page. You can also type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Vanderwaalforces (talk) 13:43, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Scraye/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. I'm new on wikipedia, i made a mistake while editing Scraye (talk) 15:09, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

December 2024

[edit]
Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or website, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:48, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hi there! I've gone ahead and moved your unblock statement into the unblock request box, which will make it easier for others to review the request. :)

That said, based on your username and the article you were creating in your sandbox, it appears you likely have a conflict of interest and may be paid to edit. If that is the case, you will need to disclose that information (see previous links for information). Additionally, it is highly recommended that you refrain from editing articles with which you have a conflict of interest. As such, can you provide examples of edits you would like to make to Wikipedia beyond creating the Scraye article? Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 14:33, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

thank you! yes I can give sample of revised article about scraye

Do not post article-like content on your user talk page. This is not a space for article development.
You also didn't use the correct unblock template. You have to use the "unblock-spamun" template because you have a choose a new username. Wikipedia accounts are for individuals; they cannot represent a company. Please come up with a new username that is more individual in nature.
Also, Wikipedia is not a business directory, so a company is not entitled to have a Wikipedia article just because it exists. All topics must be notable by Wikipedia's definition to merit inclusion. In the specific case of a company, it must meet the notability criteria for companies and organizations. For this to happen, the company must have already received significant coverage in multiple reliable and independent sources. We have no interest in what a company wishes to say about itself, as this is an inherent conflict of interest. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 18:25, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This user is asking to be unblocked to request a change in username.

Requested username:

Request reason:
I'm new to Wikipedia and currently learning how to write an article. I still need to review the policies, as I do not intend to violate any of them. I would appreciate guidance on how to create and revise my work.

Administrators should consider discussing any unblock with the blocking administrator (see the blocking policy).

Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, please replace this template with the following:

{{unblock-un on hold | 1=blocking administrator | 2=Maria Pasajol | 3=I'm new to Wikipedia and currently learning how to write an article. I still need to review the policies, as I do not intend to violate any of them. I would appreciate guidance on how to create and revise my work. | 4=~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following:

{{unblock-un reviewed | 1=Maria Pasajol | reason=I'm new to Wikipedia and currently learning how to write an article. I still need to review the policies, as I do not intend to violate any of them. I would appreciate guidance on how to create and revise my work. | accept=Allowing username change to requested username. Please select an option from [[Wikipedia:Changing username]] and file a request as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following, replacing {{subst:Decline reason here}} with any specific rationale. If you do not edit the text after "decline=", a default reason why the request was declined will be inserted.

{{unblock-un reviewed | 1=Maria Pasajol | reason=I'm new to Wikipedia and currently learning how to write an article. I still need to review the policies, as I do not intend to violate any of them. I would appreciate guidance on how to create and revise my work. | decline={{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}

Please place new talk page postings at the bottom of the page. It is important that discussions appear in the correct chronological order, otherwise they appear as a disorganized mess that is impossible to follow.

You won't be unblocked if your intention is to write about Scraye, at least in the short term, so forget about it for now. Admins will want you to commit to editing topic areas where you have no conflict of interest. So, please answer the question: what topic areas will you write about if you are unblocked?

If and when you build up a constructive edit history, and gain a good understanding of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, then you may be allowed to write about Scraye indirectly. But if you employed by Scraye or paid to represent their interests, then you must disclose this information. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:56, 18 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I understand the guidelines regarding conflicts of interest. If I were unblocked, I would focus on writing about topics such as technology innovations, mental health, personal development, or educational strategies. I believe these areas align with my interests and can contribute positively without any conflicts. Scraye (talk) 15:16, 18 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the clarification regarding my editing restrictions. I understand the importance of contributing in areas where I have no conflict of interest.
If unblocked, I would like to focus on writing about topics such as technology innovations, mental health, personal development, or educational strategies, as I believe I can contribute positively to these fields. I am committed to building a constructive edit history and learning more about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines Scraye (talk) 13:00, 19 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
