I was surprised a few months ago to see the Retired banner on your User talk page as you had been so active there for a while. I see you have recently edited so I'm just posting a note to say that you are missed. I completely understand if this project was taking up too much of your time or that off-wiki events became more important than this little hobby of ours. Thank you for your work combatting vandalism[edit]

Hello, I just wanted to thank you for your work combatting vandalism. I am currently reverting vandalism on the following pages, and saw that you also reverted some vandalism as well:

Hi @IAmHz, I'd like to thank you for helping out as well. I remember what it was like to be a newcomer to AV, so I do have some tips:

For situations like this protection can help, but if its one account over and over again it's recommended to report to AIV instead.
- Often if a vandal is actively editing it's better to leave them be after a revert, instead reporting to AIV.
Remember to warn vandals.
- This can be done easily by using the tool, Twinkle.
- It is often easier to block vandals if they are warned first, since it shows they have exhausted good faith.
