Palace Hotel Zagreb moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Palace Hotel Zagreb. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. voorts (talk/contributions) 17:44, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

dear ___ (?) thanks for deleting something I was making for 4 hours, thanks to you I wont be any-fucking time ever at wikipedia nor making any changes. Everything there is about this hotel was taken from the internet, and I deleted everything that could possible sound and look like advertisement. But don't worry, I wont fix it or change it to fill your narrative and your satisfaction. There is not much about this historic hotel that had and still has a value to Zagreb, but you don't know that, the only thing you know how to do is to sit and delete someone's work. Everything I could find - was through the internet, and i did everything under guidelines. Why dont you delete the rest of the hotels on wikipedia page? they promote as much advertisements as this did. Truly pathetic. Fuck you. SatelitteChange 18:34, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
First, it hasn't been deleted. It's available as a draft here, which you can work on, submit, and have experienced editors review and provide feedback. Second, I also moved this to draft because there aren't sufficient sources in the article, right now, to establish that this hotel is notable. In order for a Wikipedia article to be published, it must be notable, which means there must be significant coverage of the article's topic in independent, reliable sources. Most of the sources you've cited are the hotel's own website or the Zagreb Tourist Board, both of which obviously have a financial interest in the hotel doing well. Third, there's no reason to be uncivil. I hope that you can see I'm operating in good faith and that you continue to constructively contribute to Wikipedia. Finally, signing your account under a different username is confusing. You can change your username if you'd like. voorts (talk/contributions) 18:41, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your signature

[edit]

Hi, I noticed that your signature is shown as 'SatelitteChange', whereas your username is 'Mateo radovan'. Can you tell me why this is? The signature is meant to help others identify your user account, but I don't think your current signature does that, in fact it does the opposite. Per WP:SIGPROB, I would suggest that you change your signature to something that more clearly identifies the user account behind it. Thank you. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:15, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

hello. I actually have no idea why did I do that. I wanted to change Mateo Radovan to SatteliteChange, but I guess I changed something else. Regardless, why is this bothering you? SatelitteChange 13:10, 26 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WHS Croatia

[edit]

Hi, the image for Split you proposed has a bad angle with the spire diagonal, and the one of Dubrovnik has colour contrast that makes it look bad on a small scale. I am all for good images, but they should be better. When at that, if you are in the mood, could you help with adding alt text to all images? This is the new standard for featured lists. Cheers :) Tone 07:28, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sure I can add text, and in addition to your “ no, see talk ” where clearly says “If you can update or improve it, please do so”. The pictures were outdated and old, this current one from Dubrovnik is from 2004 (20 years old) and the one is Split is bad lighting & no contrast, which why I edited those pictures while you put them back to old. In addition to that - as someone who lives in Croatia, I think it’s important to show beauty of my country in best way possible. I’ll look up for other pictures so you can be satisfied youself :) SatelliteChange (talk) 14:51, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, let me get this straight - my page which is exact or almost the same as other wiki pages about hotel chains is being removed, while others like Hyatt Regency Belgrade, Westin Seattle, The Westin Charlotte and others who has less texts than mine are being spared? Nothing personal it’s just that I don’t understand what can I improve so you don’t remove something I’ve been working on for months. Also I’ve been searching for any other related information regarding the Westin Zagreb, it’s function, it’s hotel building but so far that’s all I could find. It’s not fair, so please tell me how can I improve, but without sending me a Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) page, because that won’t help me with anything. Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Kornat did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button. This should also have the effect of discouraging edits that change a variety of things at once, such as in [1] where the lead section breakage happened together with infobox changes. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Danforth Music Hall, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Disclosure. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

"As stated before; the numbers are claimed by the artist herself, there’s no better resources than that."

Lol, actually this can be the worst, because artists can really claim any kind of numbers, those figures are not proven and like it says it just a sales claim. Inflated sales do exist.

"I did my research of resources, unlike you who keeps removing my revision, instead of trying to clarify the things you want to suit your standards."

I have clairifed it before, it doesn't really seem to reach out to you. This is not some my standard, it is a generally all explained here: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Albums/Sources Adding self published sources like About Music is not admissible. Anyone can open a blog (passion project) and claim anything, it does not make it reliable what so ever. Same way forums should be rejected as well. Even some more reputable source like Forbes can be problematic.

I have no beef with you, you just don't seem that much informed. That is all. Dhoffryn (talk) 14:55, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,
You don't seem to get it either, you said yourself “And Iggy Azalea's claimed sales are way over exaggerated” meanwhile you keep changing from 65 to 72. Make it make sense. I will keep searching for any kind of resources that I can find, but until then I will keep it at 65. She is not and underground artist to be a suprise for such a number. Look it up. Inform yourself. And what do you mean beef? I am not in a position to have beef on wikipedia with anyone, I edit things, I don’t fight and take it personal? SatelliteChange (talk) 17:21, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Datoteka-Magazin - Magazin.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Datoteka-Magazin - Magazin.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under the non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 08:34, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

November 2024

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Dasomm (talk) 15:53, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing from certain pages (Bratislava) for a period of 2 weeks for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:30, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced data

[edit]

You have been edit warring over Zagreb metropolitan population data that has a clear source. Unless you update the source, you cannot change the data. Also, edit warring with no discussion is a very bad idea in general, as you've been told above. Ponor (talk) 09:31, 4 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I’m tired of explaining the same thing over and over again and all you do is type “you have been edit warring” and “unless you update the source you cannot change” bla bla bla, meanwhile I have posted sources over and over and over again and i will send it to you here so you can read it yourself. 1,086,528 metropolitan pupulation is from 2006. It’s been 18 years and since I live in Zagreb - I should know that. It changed to 1,200,000 and I will put all resources here and on zagrebs page. The Fray7 user probably doesn’t even live there, and he has overall 11 edits editing (vandalising) Zagrebs population numbers.
