"Minor" edits

[edit]

Please don't mark edits as "minor" unless they really are--that should include nothing more complicated than fixing the spelling or spacing on an article. Adding 3K worth of text, as you did to B. R. Ambedkar, is basically the opposite of minor. The reason that using that tag is a problem is that some people have their watchlists set to ignore minor edits, and an edit like that should be visible to all editors of the page. Thanks.

As a side note, I did revert that edit; please feel free to ask if you don't understand why that isn't appropriate for Wikipedia. Qwyrxian (talk)

Your move of an article to the name Chhagan Chandrakant Bhujbal

[edit]

Hello Salveramprasad. Recently you moved an article to the above title. At the WP:RMTR page another editor contested the addition of a middle name, which he said was unnecessary. Per protocol, I have moved the article back to its original name, Chhagan Bhujbal. If you still believe that the longer name is better, you can open a WP:Requested move at Talk:Chhagan Bhujbal. A discussion will then follow, and after seven days a decision will be made. Let me know if you need any assistance, EdJohnston (talk) 02:04, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

In case you didn't know, spaces are normally used with punctuation marks.

Instead of this:
  • I like bunnies(rabbits). They are not only cute, but friendly too.
Try this:
  • I like bunnies (rabbits). They are not only cute, but friendly too.

Hello प्रसाद साळवे. I am Diannaa and I am an administrator on this wiki. www.census2011.co.in is a copyright website, and therefore it's not okay for you to copy their material to Wikipedia. It looks like a government of India website, but it's not, and even if it were, it would not be okay to copy, because the Government of India copyrights their material as well. All material you add to this website needs to be written in your own words please. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 13:17, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

yes sir sure... I will write that in my own words. प्रसाद साळवे 14:49, 30 April 2017 (UTC)

I've reverted your linking of Vemula's name for a couple of reasons. First, that link is just a redirect back to the suicide article and it's extremely unlikely he will have an article as the notability comes from just one event. Given that, WP:SELFREDIRECT says to avoid creating wikilinks in that case. You also linked the name a lot - please read through the WP:OVERLINK page. Generally, you want to link the name just once, the first time it's mentioned. Thanks. Ravensfire (talk) 16:57, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Vaibhav Chhaya

[edit]

Hi,
I have already posted a request to improve the article at Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics#BLP of a poet. Somebody will work on it soon. But that noticeboard has gone a lot inactive/slow recently.

And kindly sign your comments (only on talkpages, not on articles) with four tildes, like this: ~~~~

Also, I can speak Marathi. If you have problems with English language, you can communicate with me in Marathi. But I recommend you to use devnagari script. Thanks for your work on wikipedia. :)

Please read WP:Overcategorization - these edits were incorrect and have been reverted. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 05:56, 13 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

And please also do not add categories relating to religion in biographies unless you have a reliable source to support inclusion in the category. In the case of living people, that source must show that they self-identify with the claimed religion. See WP:BLPCAT. - Sitush (talk) 14:32, 13 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I received your email. I saw the AfD discussions, and I am very sorry to say that the nominator is right. Unfortunately, all the three films do not meet notability guidelines of wikipedia. These articles will get deleted no matter what we do. Regards, —usernamekiran(talk) 18:42, 21 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
