Opting out of GOCE newsletter

Hello, I think I'm getting déjà vu. Please could I not receive the newsletters? Thanks, --BelovedFreak 10:15, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, I accidentally used an old list. I have deleted it now. Thanks for letting me know and Happy New Year! – SMasters (talk) 13:33, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

Captain R. T. Claridge

Thanks for your contribtion to the Captain R. T. Claridge article. The article is essentially in maintenance phase now (minor tweaks notwithstanding, but substantive information on this fellow has been exhausted for now, and Wikipedia has an excessive amount of incmplete articles requiring attention), and your effort in that regard is appreciated. Regards Wotnow (talk) 05:28, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

No problems, glad to help out. – SMasters (talk) 16:09, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

re: WP Cricket article

This article looks great. I can foresee HaeB grumbling that the article is a bit long, so you may want to trim some of the longer paragraphs. Go ahead and pick a day or two in February for more Reports. As always, the topic is up to you although you may want to browse the nice suggestions people have left at the WikiProject Desk in the past few days. Cheers! -Mabeenot (talk) 00:16, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

OK, thanks! I will trim the story. I'll also look into the suggestions. Cheers. – SMasters (talk) 05:12, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
I have finished cutting it as much as I can. The only other way to make it substantially shorter would be to take out the entire para on NPOV, which will also take a few pics with it. What do you think? Can we leave it as it is, or cut this out? – SMasters (talk) 08:50, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
Looks good. You could leave it as is right now. We'll only trim it if one of the other Signpost regulars makes a fuss. Also, if you'd like to do a Report on a project similar to WP:Solar System that hasn't already been done, try WP:Spaceflight which has also been suggested at the WikiProject Desk. If you'd still like to do WP:Solar, that's fine too. WP:Solar was last covered way back in 2008, so repeating it now shouldn't be overkill. -Mabeenot (talk) 23:27, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
OK, I will do Spaceflight next. Thanks for the feedback and advice. – SMasters (talk) 07:21, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Hi. Further to our recent correspondence and the WP:CRIC interviews, thank you very much for what you have achieved. It's a great showcase and I hope we get a few more members out of it. If anyone should ask you any questions about the project and you need help, let me know or drop a line at WT:CRIC. Well done. ----Jack | talk page 06:41, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for participating. Hopefully, it will help to attract more members for CRIC. Will be in touch if I need anything. Cheers. – SMasters (talk) 07:21, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

Tim riley's triple crown

I did the first two GAs here the way the example seemed to indicate. Are those the diffs you want, or do you just need the diff showing the promotion to GA? The first diff in each case doesn't seem to add anything. Please let me know and I'll proceed to collect the rest of the evidence. Thanks! -- Ssilvers (talk) 15:41, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

If he has actively participated on the GA or FA page, then those pages are sufficient. If he has not, then the DIFFs are important. This is to save me having to go around looking to see if he contributed to the success of the GA or FA. To answer your question, it's just need the diff showing the promotion to GA. Cheers. – SMasters (talk) 01:24, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

OK - I think I've got all the diffs you need now. Please let me know if you need anything else. Thanks! -- Ssilvers (talk) 15:06, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
