Your revert of my edit to Mantan Moreland

[edit]

Hello, Ryoutou ... you reverted my edit to Mantan Moreland (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) as "vandalism" ... did you even bother to look at the two versions of the article, or did you just look at the change comparison? If you think that a bunch of titles and dates all smushed together in a single paragraph is "better" than a bulleted list, well, that's your opinion, with which I happen to disagree (especially since there are no articles to which any of the titles could be linked), but I really don't care enough about this article to get into a revert-war with you ... Happy Editing! —72.75.79.128 (talk · contribs) 22:30, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies mate for the misunderstanding =) Ryo 22:42, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Copy that ... thnx fer restoring my edit. —72.75.79.128 22:56, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, again ... just a ping to note that my IP address has changed again ... since you don't have email enabled, I guess I'll have to point you here to find pix of your humble friend and narrator on my websites, or here for my Tale of Woe and Grief ... and you'll see why I no longer edit Wikipedia with that account (except for userboxes on my User page, because it still comes up on the first page of Google search results for my name. :-) Happy Editing! —141.156.234.101 (talk · contribs) 04:07, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks! I am definitely learning the ropes, and trying not to make too many mistakes along the way =) Cheers mate, Ryo 00:22, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Over time you will become a better vandal fighter. Experience is important. I have been fighting vandalism for almost 1 year (since December of 06), and I have gotten way' better at it. Cheers!--SJP 00:26, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tortoise FPC

[edit]

Hi Thanks for your vote on my FPC of the leopard tortoise. You mentioned something about adjusting curves and stuff to reduce the harsh flash effects. Seeing that you are a graphics designer, could you please help me out with some editing?

Regards, Muhammad Mahdi Karim (talk) 03:09, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like jjron has started that ball rolling. I made some touch ups as well, hope it helps. Good shooting =) Ryo 14:17, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Khmer Rouge6.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Khmer Rouge6.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 23:12, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Ambassador Program in Houston

[edit]

Hi! I'm leaving you this message because you're listed as a Wikipedian from Houston. The Wikipedia Ambassador Program is currently looking for Campus Ambassadors from the Houston area, to help with Wikipedia assignments at Texas Southern University. Classes at TSU will be participating in the Public Policy Initiative for the Spring 2011 semester, and the role of Campus Ambassadors will be to provide face-to-face training and support for students on Wikipedia-related skills (how to edit articles, how to add references, etc.). This includes doing in-class presentations, running workshops and labs, possibly holding office hours, and in general providing in-person mentorship for students.

Prior Wikipedia skills are not required for the role, as training will be provided for all Campus Ambassadors (although, of course, being an experienced editor is a plus).

If you are interested in being a Wikipedia Campus Ambassador, or know someone in Houston who might be, please email me or leave a message on my talk page. Thanks!--Sage Ross - Online Facilitator, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 20:03, 1 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your consideration! --Another Believer (Talk) 20:44, 11 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
