Information icon Hello, I'm Cassiopeia. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sean Brady (fighter), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Cassiopeia talk 01:37, 15 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: .  Drmies (talk) 00:49, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

cassipeioa is wrong and keeps changing multiple correct edits Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 00:54, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 04:40, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

If you think that comments like "Cassopioe you are a moron" are acceptable here, you are very wrong. And if you think that "oh there's a million Google hits" is an excuse to not cite reliable sources, that is also wrong, and you are not doing very much to prove you are in fact a child prodigy. Drmies (talk) 17:44, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

yeah im not even gonna trya dn defend that. i apologise to you and cassiopeia. the fact that called myself a child prodigy is probably the most idiotic thing i have seen. i will stop my disruptive edits and apologise for derogatory language used Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 18:06, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also nearly everything i typed in my old user page was completely false yet still incredibly egotistical and cringeworthy Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 18:09, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

i want to make constructuve edits on topics i am passionate about and apologise for my previous juvenile vandalism Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 13:13, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate and confirm that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

Once you have decided on the article you will propose improvements to:

    1. Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
    2. Copy the portion of the prose from that article that you will be proposing changes to. However:
      • do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this: ...),
      • do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this: ),
      • do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: ),
      • and do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: Foo stub);
    3. Click edit at your talk page and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this: == Article title ==) the copied content but do not save yet;
    4. Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution."
    5. You can now save the page. However, if your edits will include any citations to reliable sources (which they should), add the following template to the end of your prose: reflist-talk. Once you have added the template, click Publish changes.
  • Now, edit that content. Propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking using unblock and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will hopefully improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "your question here ~~~~" to your talk page. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 13:56, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I apologise for previous wrongdoings and i want to help improve articles on things i enjoy such as darts and sportsRyan-James.M14 (talk) 22:30, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

As per below. You were offered a path to demonstrate you can be a constructive editor and refused to take it. I therefore have to assume you have no plans to be constructive. Yamla (talk) 11:55, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am truly sorry and i want to help improve things i am passionate about. Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 22:30, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I offered a process for you to demonstrate a substantive edit you would make if unblocked, are you declining to use that process? If you are, this will count against you. 331dot (talk) 08:01, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No i am not it has been a year since the offer and i didnt see it. i will work to complete that process soon , my sincerest apologies Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 14:33, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is a few articles that i feel i could maybe improve but im not sure the edits would be classed as substantial? Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 14:49, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Help request

[edit]

Could you please tell me how to do it properly Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 15:30, 5 May 2023 (UTC)}}[reply]

I am aware it wasnt the best edit and i probably shouldve used my pc instead of my phone but im trying to prove i want to help wikipedia , just deleting offers me no help. Could someone instruct me how to do it better? Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 15:30, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Another help request

[edit]

Why was my request deleted Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 15:33, 5 May 2023 (UTC)}}[reply]

I asked for help and it was deleted , its hard trying to make amends when things like this happen Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 15:33, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Make an unblock request to get unblocked, and they are being deleted as they are pretty spammy. Thanks, Zippybonzo | Talk (he|him) 15:46, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You were offered a second chance, and have refused to take it. The administrators are willing to unblock you, but only if you demonstrate how to edit constructively, which was the second chance you were given, which you are yet to take. Zippybonzo | Talk (he|him) 15:49, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I tried to prove i wanted to edit but it was deleted. I assume because it looked poor as it was done via mobile Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 15:51, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No, the edits were just not abiding by policy. I’m currently editing on mobile, and I often do, and I don’t get blocked for it. Zippybonzo | Talk (he|him) 15:53, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well the issue is , no one specified how they didnt abide by policy. I did actually improve and fix some of the article Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 15:57, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have made unblock request but they were denied and id only made 2 help requests to help get unblocked. Thank you for responding Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 15:50, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The best way to get unblocked is to follow the instructions that 331dot gave you. Help requests aren’t unblock requests and won’t get you unblocked. Zippybonzo | Talk (he|him) 15:52, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I know they wont get me unblocked , sorry for the poor phrasing. I was merely seeking help to then get unblocked. I tried following instructions but it came out poorly which is a shame. If I re do the previous edit on my pc to make it look better would be that satisfactory to get unblocked Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 15:56, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No, editing on P.C. or mobile doesn’t change the fact that your edits have been unconstructive. Zippybonzo | Talk (he|him) 16:01, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You have also called Casseopia a moron in one of your edit summaries, which is a personal attack and forbidden by policy. Zippybonzo | Talk (he|him) 16:03, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes i understand that was not needed and thats why i waited to year to come back as i felt it may show regret. How were the edits not constructive? i fixed numerous errors and added a bit of info to improve the article Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 16:06, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You appear to be such a lost sheep that I'm going to try to help. You've been made something resembling the standard offer as a way to return to good standing with normal editing privileges.
I saw that you proposed some changes to an article about boxing families, but it ended up making a sort of mess out of your talk page, even though you did some of the steps correctly.
So you should perhaps try again. One thing you should definitely include in your proposed changes is a new piece of content properly cited to a good source. Showing that you know how to do these things will go a long way towards convincing admins that you understand how to make proper contributions. As to your unblock requests, it's important to explain quite clearly the mistakes you made in the past, accepting that they were mistakes, and explain how you will avoid making similar mistakes in the future. Nothing is ever guaranteed, but these steps are what I see as your best shot, this year, to become unblocked.
Oh, and don't put your help or unblock templates into the section headers. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 16:56, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
thank you for your help and kind words Ryan-James.M14 (talk) 15:29, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
