Wikidata

[edit]

March 2021

[edit]

Information icon Hi Rtelly12! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Buss–Perry Aggression Questionnaire that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Kj cheetham (talk) 20:48, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kj cheetham, Thanks for letting me know. I am sorry, I am relatively new to Wikipedia. I will keep that in mind for all edits going forward. - Rtelly12 (talk) 01:29, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Don't worry, many things on Wikipedia aren't obvious. :) Do feel free to give me a shout on my talk page if there is anything I can ever help with in the future though! -Kj cheetham (talk) 08:53, 3 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kalimantan Institute of Technology, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hey there, I'm trying to find the button to contest the speedy deletion but it doesn't exist? Mind helping? Or has it been removed? I can try to add more secondary sources, but they're all in non-English language would that be okay? Also, I don't think that page has an issue with notability since the page already existed in the native language. What should I do to prove the notability in the English version? Would non-English secondary sources suffice? Rtelly12 (talk) 08:36, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of African mythological figures, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bemba. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:17, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Content you added to the above article appears to have been copied from https://www.leg.state.nv.us/nrs/nrs-287.html#NRS287Sec041, which is not released under a compatible license. Works of the Government of Nevada are copyright. Unfortunately, for copyright reasons, some content had to be removed from this article and two others. Please let me know if you have any questions. — Diannaa (talk) 12:17, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up, I'll try to paraphrase the content more. Rtelly12 (talk)

URLs and Edit Summarys

[edit]

Many thanks for your recent additions to various Nevada pages. A couple of minor comments:

  • When you are filling out the Edit summary, please try to be more descriptive. A few of your summaries consisted of "Expanded existing content", which is fairly generic. Instead you might write "Added details about Sherman Station, including image and refs."

Again, many thanks for your additions! Cxbrx (talk) 00:45, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Nevada State Department of Administration has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unfortunately, this article does not appear to meet WP:GNG or WP:NCORP as there are no reliable secondary sources that I was able to find that would demonstrate its notability. Therefore I am proposing it for deletion.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
