SR 91 extension

You know anything about SR 91 west extension. I dont know clearly the problems about doing it, all I hear is it is going from I-110 to SR-1. I dont know the issues. The only battle I'm clear with is the 710, 241, and 57 South extensions.--Freewayguy (Webmail) 19:20, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

Did you check their e-mail address and make sure they are not the same? If they are not the same means they are two different person. Redirect change?

I founded Wikipedia:WikiProject M*A*S*H, and I would like to suggest a change of redirects: WP:MASH goes to the Massachusetts Road Project. Since MASH is closer to M*A*S*H (and the film is named MASH), than it is to Massachusetts Road Project, could we arrange a changing of the redirect? Basketball110 (talk) 18:12, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Considering that your project is a newly founded project, I don't believe that this would be a good move as of yet. If this project becomes fully established, I would consider this (as this would destroy the **SH shortcut consistency that we have at WP:USRD). --Rschen7754 (T C) 17:24, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Mirrors and faux copies

Hey there.

A little known trick: there is a page where you can add exclusion rules when you find a mirror.  :-) I add to it with some frequency when I spot one, but it looks like for-profit Wikipedia vampires are about a dime a dozen lately. — Coren (talk) 23:47, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

You deleted this as "A1: Not enough context to identify subject", but the Google cache shows this to be untrue. --NE2 16:30, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Feel free to recreate it then. --Rschen7754 (T C) 22:43, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Why, so you can delete it again? --NE2 04:35, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
If you write more than what you did, it won't be deleted. --Rschen7754 (T C) 04:39, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
The point is that you shouldn't have deleted it in the first place, since it definitely had "enough context to identify subject". --NE2 05:21, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Reading the definition of A1 - it says "Very short articles providing little or no context". --Rschen7754 (T C) 05:24, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
This provided sufficient context - it's a state highway in Kansas. No context is when you don't say what the subject even is. --NE2 06:26, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
What's your beef about this? Just recreate the darn thing and write two sentences about it and then it'll all be fine. --Rschen7754 (T C) 06:36, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
My beef is that you deleted a useful article (it was useful because of the disambiguation at least). If it's so easy to write two sentences, why didn't you? --NE2 06:50, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
It may eventually be useful, but then it was cruddy. --Rschen7754 (T C) 07:01, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Uh, it was useful. When it existed, someone looking for the former K-58 could find it. --NE2 07:43, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
If you really have an issue with it, take it to DRV. --Rschen7754 (T C) 00:37, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

If you can't find yours, or you think they're too low quality, I might be able to take some of the route west of Yakima next weekend (i.e. a week from tomorrow). However, Lewiston is a bit far for me, and I'd probably prefer not making the trip altogether. :-P Plus, mine probably wouldn't be all that higher quality.

This arbitration case has been closed and the final decision is available at the link above. No formal enforcement measures are being proposed at this time, in light of the hope that editors will act of their own volition and take with them a more in-depth understanding of the issues, principles, and the disputes themselves, for future benefit and to avoid the need for more formal responses; in particular, all members of WikiProject U.S. Roads are advised that when asserting the existence of a prior consensus, it is necessary to refer to prior discussions or debates on Wikipedia where that consensus has been established.

Notability of Ree Woo

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Ree Woo, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Ree Woo seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Ree Woo, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 04:01, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Ummm... I nominated Ree Woo for AfD, although I should have taken it to DRV instead. You can't just undelete articles like that. The version that was deleted definitely met A1, seeing as how it didn't mention where the character was from, or even that it was a fictional character (hence the editor's confusion when he originally tagged as A7 for real people).
The Kansas highway that you deleted under A1 did have context however, since it included the fact that it was a state highway, which is apparently sufficient for a claim of notability. -- Kéiryn talk 07:23, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

RE: Washington stubs

Creating the stubs are part of my "Washington Improvement Plan". Here are the steps:
1. Create all articles about current routes.
2. Create all articles about proposed routes.
3. Create all articles about former routes.
4. Create all articles about PSH and SSH routes.
5. Improve all articles about current routes, starting with the Interstates and U.S. routes.
6. Improve all articles about proposed and former (including PSH and SSH) routes.
7. Keep on improving afterwards. ComputerGuy890100Talk to meWhat I've done to help Wikipedia 16:57, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Re: NYSR participants list

Is there any reason why my name was taken off and other users such as Polaron's name was left on the USRD participants list? ----DanTD (talk) 12:32, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Polaron is considered to be a USRD-wide editor due to his participation in numerous IRC and WT:USRD discussions. --Rschen7754 (T C) 17:21, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

USRD participants list

As discussed at WT:USRD, the participants list at WP:USRD is being split by state. Due to any of the following factors- your extended participation in WT:USRD discussions, your IRC participation, or your extended participation in Shields or Maps, I have guessed that you are a nationwide editor and have designated you as such in the USRD partiicpants table. This is part of the lengthy process. If this is in error, please let me know immediately. This is especially likely with this group as I have to guess whether you are a national or a state editor. Can you take a look at this; see how he delete my message from my talk page, he's doing personal attack. Thank you for noticing he delete my message from my Welcome talk page, also he put false blocking on my talk page.--Freewayguy Discussions Show all changes 03:07, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

75.47.133.244 (talk) is responsible for blanking the above message, as well as an obscene edit summary while blanking another IP's talk page. I thought we solved the 75 IP problem? -- Kéiryn (talk) 19:35, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Not that it matters much, but sorry about my incorrect edit summary on the previous message. It was supposed to just say "more". -- Kéiryn (talk) 19:41, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Freewayguy (talk) and Kéiryn (talk · contribs) don't be a fanatic because you think i'm a sockpuppet of Artisol2345 (talk) doesn't mean that i'm the one who used that and besides that's not mine anyway and AL2TB (talk) knew that his cousin is doing something wrong. --75.47.133.244 (talk) 20:28, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Guys stop false accusing me, leave me alone and don't be a dick. --75.47.133.244 (talk) 20:47, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
I never accused you of being a sockpuppet. I was still retired when Aristol2345 and AL2TB were here, so I have no idea what that's about. I'm just saying that edit summaries like this are inappropriate. And so is going around blanking stuff on other people's user talk pages. So yeah, no false accusations coming from me. -- Kéiryn (talk) 22:25, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, i know that i used a edit summaries like this inappropriate for a reason because i hate that user Geniac (talk) giving me a bad time with a level 4im warning because i edit someone else's comments on freeway / toll road talk page articles such as Talk:Golden State Freeway, Talk:California State Route 261, Talk:Interstate 10 in California and Talk:Interstate 5 in California for a fix or a remove. --75.47.218.8 (talk) 00:40, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Guys! Stop! Argue on your own talkpage, not Rschen7754's or mine. This is Rschen7754's talkpage-not yours.--Freewayguy Discussions Show all changes 04:34, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

  • You should take a look, they have harass me on my talkpage 3 month ago, and don't listen to them, they only lying. I believe you people can lie on thier talkpage. If they keep harassing me like this don't be afraid to block them.

Please continue this conversation somewhere else; I have enough to do besides trying to mediate between you two. --Rschen7754 (T C) 04:42, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

I-710 north extension in Pasadena

Do you think they will ever extend the I-710. I thought its unlikely, since it strongly upsets the city in many ways. To me I don't think so even if our economy is strong.--Freewayguy Discussions Show all changes 01:06, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for pointing out that particular road policy. I was not aware of it. After reading the road policies you cited, I also noticed th second sentence at the top of the policy which says "These standards are not set in stone, however, and can be ignored if the particular highway warrants it." Sf46 (talk) 09:27, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

But that particular highway does not warrant it. What makes LA-415 so special? --Rschen7754 (T C) 09:28, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

Why do you enjoy reverting my revisions? That's practically all you're doing, and you're the only one doing it. Dabby (talk) 22:02, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

I don't enjoy reverting you; it's a pain and more work for me to do. I do it because you're doing things wrong that need to be fixed. --Rschen7754 (T C) 22:10, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

I would appreciate it if you not revert all my edits. Most - if not all - of my edits are legit. Dabby (talk) 15:39, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

New Mexico

Scott told me New Mexico DOT is worse than Oklahoma, isn't New Mexico DOT honestly that bad. Scott said once he almost got lost in northeast New Mexico by lacking blue arrows pointing N,S,W,and E. But most signs I saw on interstate-guide like I-10 points to n,s,w,e. What Scott meant by New Mexico has poor signage. Is this true some other "Trans, DOT is even dangerous?--Freewayguy Msg USC 03:28, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

I was looking at the A class review for it, and you had mentioned that ref 6 had been deleted from the newspaper's website, I found it in the Internet Archive. Splat5572

Hello, Rschen7754. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. --NE2 01:39, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

While there was due cause for concern, that probably shouldn't have been sent to ANI right off the bat. Just a note for the future. Regards, Rschen7754 (T C) 02:03, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

I also requested Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration#About Splat5572 --Splat5572 (talk) 23:32, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

Hello Rchen7754, I'm glad you are back. The problem with Splat5572 (talk · contribs) is he keeps putting Santa Ana, Golden State, Ventura, and Hollywood Freeways back to exit list when we already have a exit list on those smaller articles. Those segments should not be mentioned on I-5 and US 101 exit list becasue its duplicate, repetitive and does no usage. I'm tire of fighting and I was blocked for 24 hours for 3RR. The wars Splat5572 made is shown on the contributions. After Splat5572's blcok for 24 hours at least 3 reverts keeps going. He's obviosly not yielding.--Freewayguy Call? Fish 18:37, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

That is not an excuse to make personal attacks. --Rschen7754 (T C) 18:39, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
Then what should I do now. Splat5572 obviously won't yield. Do you agree with me, Santa Ana and Golden State Freeway exit lists should be left out from I-5, becasue the list is shown on their own articles.--Freewayguy Call? Fish 19:16, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
