George Comer
Congratulations and nice work on George Comer. I hope you didn't mind my amateurish input. Technical question: How do you write your web citations? Do you use a pop-up or other software aid, or do you code them all by hand? Just curious! ('Cause if you use an aid, I want it!) I look forward to seeing your next articles! Cbaer (talk) 12:48, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
- I just discovered the wikEd gadget in the preferences - just what I was looking for one! One-button citation templates - ever try it? Thanks for the inspiration to look! Cbaer (talk) 01:49, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

name dabs
I reverted what you did in the "primary topic" line on Welles to be consistent with WP:MOSDAB. I see you also did the same with Simpson. I can see your thinking, but don't you think it should be discussed at WT:MOSDAB or something? (John User:Jwy talk) 01:29, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- I've been in the dab biz for quite a while myself. The primary topic (at least to me) is article at "X" when you have "X (disambiguation)." I can see doing what you did if you moved Simpson (name) to Simpson. Part of the WP:MOSDAB thinking about primary target assumes if you were looking for the primary target (X), you wouldn't get to the dab page - you entered X, got the article you wanted and need go no further. Thus "hiding" it at the top gets it out of the way for people are looking for one of the other terms. The construct you have does not do that. (John User:Jwy talk) 06:20, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

A dispatch from the midden
Hi Rosiestep. I finally managed to pull myself together and write something about Comer's Midden as I promised you almost a month ago now. As it seems that most of the important conclusions originally drawn from Comer's excavation have become outdated, I am unsure exactly how much actually belongs in his article, so a made it a separate semi-stub. But if you think some of I wrote would fit into Comer's article, I am certainly all ears. Hemmingsen 11:17, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for the barnstar. That was a pleasant surprise. Hemmingsen 07:51, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Outriggr's assesment script
Hi Rosie
After your note on my talk, I tested a setup which worked for me, and went ahead and installed it to your monobook.js.
All you need to do is to follow these instructions to refresh your browser's cache, and you should find it work for you.
Hope this helps! --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 20:23, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Visit the Richie Sambora and the Jon Bon Jovi page. Most of the images are taken by me. They were just feet away. I've had the privelage of seeing them over in Dublin. (Of course I've seen them many times but never front row before!) Can't believe it was two years ago. Even the one of the bass player Hugh McDonald is mine ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 20:03, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah it was amazing. I don't usually have trouble seeing at rock concerts anyway because I'm a head taller than most people lol, but seeing every movement and expression they make it a totally different thing. Richie was going through his difficult stage then though with his divorce, he was looking quite bloated on the night. Denise Richards was about ten foot away too ♦Blofeld of SPECTRE♦ $1,000,000? 20:13, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

citations for Washington Monument Syndrome
There are two citations up in talk for Washington Monument Syndrome. I'm sometimes not very good at fitting in a reference appropriately so this time I put what I was better at (narrative) in the article and left what I'm worse at (references) in talk. If you would take a crack at putting those references in the article, I'd appreciate it. TMLutas (talk) 16:10, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

The accuracy of a reference has nothing to with speedy deletion on the grounds of a person's lack of notability. However, I've found another reason to speedy this - most of the article is a copy-and-paste from the biography page on the district website, and therefore a copyright violation. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 05:09, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Symbols at DYK suggestions
Rosie, thanks for helping out at the DYK suggestions page, but you appear to be using the wrong symbols!
If you want to approve an article, you should be using this code: [[Image:Symbol confirmed.svg|18px]] which gives you this symbol:.
If you want to query a hook for something, you use this code: [[Image:Symbol possible vote.svg|18px]] which gives you this symbol: . Currently you appear to be using the latter in place of the former, which makes your intentions unclear. Gatoclass (talk) 02:24, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Lost references
This may be a circumstance where existing references are not revealed.
The article "Waterloo to Reading Line", which gave no references, had an inline diagram of the route. It was changed to call in the diagram as a template, which now has two
references.
Using "Friendly" you flagged the article as giving no references which is true, but shouldn't the references at a remove be shown?--SilasW (talk) 08:39, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for replying but it seems I was not clear. My point was that, although indeed that article gave no reference or source, the included template does list two sources and that it would be useful if the article could "know" that. It's possible to imagine an article, apparently unsourced, made largely of well referenced templates or one, apparently sourced, made largely of nonsense templates.--SilasW (talk) 10:42, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Eric Durchholz
I understand your concern. I was NOT concise in describing his relevance. I have again edited the article, with a citation and link, as to why he is relevant. I also moved the page because I did not spell his surname as a proper noun which I think you will agree is a given. Could you discuss this with me further before making any more recommendations about the article? I would be glad to research anything you find lacking and add it to the article, but at this point AT MOST it would be an "afd" NOT a speedy delete.
