Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, RoniAK. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Galia Lahav, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 21:43, 29 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

RoniAK (talk)Ok. I'm not paid. I did it just cause I know the brand and wanted to write about themRoniAK (talk)

RoniAK (talk)Ok no problem. As I said, I was writing and trying to be as much informative as possible. Now that I know the rules I will not write badly again. One more thing, I tried to erase a photo that I uploaded. How can I tell if it was deleted? I can't see if my deletion happened. Also, which photos can I use? If I want to use a photo of some photographer how can I do that?RoniAK (talk)

As can be seen above, the name of the photo that you uploaded is a redlink now. Clicking on that redlink indicates the image was deleted as a blatant copyright violation. You may wish to read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for answers to your questions. However, please note that any donated text or images must still adhere to all other Wikipedia policies on neutrality, relevance, advertising, etc. -- otherwise it may also be edited or removed. Email[edit]

Hi, RoniAK. This is in response to your email. Please note that all encyclopedic entries must be written in a neutral point-of-view. Allow the references and facts to speak for themselves, and avoid using language which can be deemed as promotional or hype. (This is a typical problem for editors who write about a topic with which they are associated.) I suggest that you review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, WP:SPAM and Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Words to watch before making further edits. If you have questions, feel free to ask for help. CactusWriter (talk) 22:21, 30 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
