A few comments

[edit]

Thanks for your help. A few comments - you're new so you won't know much about how we work. I've given you some links. You need to use more sources - see WP:RS and WP:VERFIY. Also, we shouldn't tell readers what is fortunate or unfortunate, that's original research. Finally, don't forget to use WP:Edit summaries. Happy editing! Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Nat Turner's slave rebellion, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 09:32, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop

[edit]

I have reverted several of your recent edits which are bordering on spam and vandalism. You have been adding the same content to various articles, though your edits are either not or partly supported by the sources cited, or have little to do with the article. A good example is your edit to Emerald Township, Paulding County, Ohio. Please stop or I will report you as a vandal. Magnolia677 (talk) 09:41, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Consider that seconded. You have been adding a large amount of copy to numerous articles that is either poorly or not sourced and is also unencyclopedic. The fact that all of this concerns one Native American tribe and the only source you have proffered is that tribe's website begs the question: Are you in some way affiliated with that tribe? If so, please see WP:COI and modify your editing accordingly. If you are being compensated in any way for your additions to Wikipedia, see WP:PAID and make the appropriate declarations as instructed there. This is not in any way optional. A reply is expected. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Wren, Ohio, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nottoway. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Catawba people. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The link you added appears to be promotional, and does not cite the content. This is known on WP as WP:CITESPAM. You have been warned for this before, and were asked to respond. I don't see any engagement or response to that request. - CorbieV 21:31, 22 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm CorbieVreccan. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Sappony, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - CorbieV 01:28, 3 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Ithaca, New York, without citing a reliable source. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Chief Buffalo Child Long Lance, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page European (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
