Image without license

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Warner Independent Pictures Logo (2003).jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Birdman (rapper) has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 04:31, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Tron. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. L293D ( • ) 01:56, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Linking to drafts

[edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. An edit has converted these links, into links to the not-currently-existing page (redlinks) where the draft will be placed if it is eventually accepted. Thus the links will automatically become valid links aimed at the correct target when and if the draft is accepted. Thank you. DES (talk)DESiegel Contribs 21:46, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Ba5b06 3acf6bfbd53747779d8557ae44e2539e.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Ba5b06 3acf6bfbd53747779d8557ae44e2539e.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 05:18, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Zach Hadel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Big Time Rush (group). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Restoring this three times after being reverted twice is clearly a disruption. You were told to go to the Talk page to try to build consensus. Please don't edit war to your preferred version. --IJBall (contribstalk) 22:06, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Matilda (1996 film). Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Magitroopa (talk) 17:03, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Mars Needs Moms, you may be blocked from editing. SummerPhDv2.0 21:41, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Calling All Stations. A lot of your edits have been problematic. You have been changing sourced information, apparently to match your point-of-view. This is not acceptable (as the warnings above reflect).

Additionally, several of the edits are worded in ways that simply do not make sense. In this particular case, you said reviews were "mostly negative to positive".

I am not sure what problems you are having, whether you are fairly young or perhaps learning English as a second language. In any case, please ask for help in understanding the problems with your editing before continuing. SummerPhDv2.0 21:58, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Alex Clark (animator), but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. Jaidenanimations moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Jaidenanimations, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. A tag has been placed on Draft:Kittydog, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. • Indefinite doesn't mean forever, but your insisting on adding unsourced material that is contentious has created an undue burden on other editors. Any admin is free to unblock once communication has taken place and Robert seems to "get it", without seeking my input. While you are blocked, you might want to read an essay called WP:Communication is required, which will explain why you have to discuss issues when they have been raised many times. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and when many people have taken issue with your editing, you are required to participate in discussion. The lack of communication is why I'm forced to block you until you DO communicate and take note of the complaints. Dennis Brown - 12:24, 20 October 2020 (UTC)![reply]

please unblock me. i have good faith.

  • Not quite how it works. For starters, it seems you didn't bother reading the banner with the block notice, so perhaps you might consider actually reading WP:GAB if you want to be unblocked. Simply asking to be unblocked is seldom effective, if you don't understand why you were blocked and what is expected in order to get unblocked. Dennis Brown - 21:11, 20 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
