Your Humble Opinion?

I was wondering, for the articles in the SHC, I know we've barely started them, but, do you think that we should have the abilities as a seperate section like their appearance, or should we just list them in the infoboxes like the normal articles currently do? What do think is best? Than you. Regards! Skeletal S.L.J.C.O.A.A.A.T.R. Soul 05:30, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

MATTHEW KAMINSKI

I was just searching for a bio of Matthew Kaminski and saw that you deleted one. In a world of effectively limitless space for wikipedia content, deleting any article is an affront to knowledge. In other words, it's private censorship. The best way for you to deal with content that you find non-notable is to not read it. But please don't prevent those who find it notable from consulting it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.143.189.24 (talk) 23:50, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Ah cheers. Are you still active in cleaning up trivia? I only say this as I just managed to clear a month of tagged trivia - about 296 articles I think. - Tbsdy lives (talk) 07:58, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

Hello -- I was wondering if you could share why you decided it was unnecessary for those links to be there. They were placed there by representatives of Nintendo who are currently conducting an advertising tie-in with the game. I realize it is probably better to have a seperate page, but in actuality the links would only be there for a short period of time since this game being conducted would not last forever and therefore would not require its own specific Wikipedia page. So I ask again -- why is it that you deem it necessary to delete those links. Many people have been helped with the information contained on that page. I'm asking politely so please don't assume I am trying to start a fight. I am just curious as a participant of that online game as well.

Please advise...02:06, 10 September 2008 (UTC)DCB316 (talk)

Thank you

I guess you don't take well to new people trying to contribute so I guess I'll just leave Wikipedia altogether then. Thanks... DCB316 (talk) 21:47, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Its not a true representation of WWE Legends of Wrestlemania. If you know anything about wrestling, you should be backing this. Also, the petitions and protesting are not SPECULATIONS. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jason830 (talkcontribs) 19:05, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for this, but looking through his contribs, I see strongly-worded edit summaries but no actual personal attacks. He is addressing content, not editors, unless you can post me some diffs that show otherwise. I'll gladly take another look at it. Cheers. --Rodhullandemu 21:46, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Hey!!

Hey Rob, quick question for ya, I'm User:RKO 4 Life on the "pro wrestling wikia" and I've started creating some article's on there and 'm starting to edit on there more, so do you think, that if I keep editing every week pretty often, for a month or so I could become a administrator on there? I can't rollback edits, and stuff like that and it's kinda a mess right now. If you could tell me were I stand it would be appreciated. SteelersFan-94 06:04, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

I've sent you an email. It doesn't concern me or any Administrator tools on my part. Please let me know when you've replied. SteelersFan-94 00:03, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Hi RobJ1981. I added the columns Salavat suggested from Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Video_games#List_of_WiiWare_games_needs_table_cleanup. I personally don't think that a release date column for every region is needed for the list, as it can easily be found in the info box on each game's article. Also, not all games are going to be released for every region. The only release date that is needed (in my point of view) is the region that received the game first, and for the rest of the regions (and that region) I've been marking it under Regions Released.

Here is what part of the table looks like:

Title Developer(s) First Available Regions Released Wii Points
Minna da Asobou Koinu de Kururin[1]
(Play Together: Kururin as Puppies)
MTO October 7, 2008 JP Japan 500
My Aquarium
Blue OasisJP
Hudson Soft June 24, 2008 JP Japan United States European Union Australia 500
My Pokémon Ranch
Minna no Pokemon BokujōJP
Ambrella, Nintendo March 25, 2008 JP Japan United States European Union Australia 1000

A few of the IP's wants it changed back, but what is the point since it is going to be like this at the end anyway just like List of Nintendo 64 games. The list of Nintendo DS games pretty much uses this kind of layout. Rob, what are your thoughts? Reply back on my talk page, at WP:VG, or at http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Talk:List_of_WiiWare_games#New_version_of_table_.28again.29 . Thanks! Vernon (Versus22) (talk) 17:01, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

I noticed in your edit to List of Xbox 360 games that you removed Big Bumpin', PocketBike Racer, and Sneak King because you saw "no proof they came out for 360, only the original Xbox." I just want to note that all three games were released for both the Xbox and Xbox 360. I found this information in an IGN article titled Burger King and Xbox Team Up from October 2, 2006. The same information can be found on the game case itself, which states "includes Xbox 360™ and original Xbox® versions" in a little green box at the top. It is a little hard to read on the images for each game case on Wikipedia (see Image:Big Bumpin.jpg, Image:Pocketbike Racer Coverart.png, and Image:Sneakkingbox.jpg), but it is there. If you want to get a better look at that text I mentioned earlier, I suggest doing an image search on Google for the box art of each game (Big Bumpin', PocketBike Racer, and Sneak King). --Lightsup55 ( T | C ) 09:18, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Hello

Hello!, my name is Will. I just saw your recent edit to Gail Kim. I took a look at your user page and saw that you like pro wrestling, video games, etc. I was wondering if you would be interested in helping me with a wrestling video game article soon? It is TNA Impact! (video game) and I would like to get it to GA and then FA one day. I don't know a thing about expanding video game articles and seeing as you are apart of that project, and with interests in wrestling, that you would be interested in a partnership.--WillC 04:51, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Okay, I haven't played it either. I plan to buy the game and play it. I'm just looking for someone a bit more familiar than me with the layout, sources, etc that are involved in video game articles.--WillC 04:30, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

New Play Control!

Actually, "New Play Control!" IS part of their titles. Unless you are saying that NINTENDO is wrong: [2][3][4][5]. This is about your edit to the Wii games page. So it would be "New Play Control! Pikmin", not just "Pikmin" for example. TJ Spyke 06:28, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

If you are going to try to delete an article, you should be putting up an Article for Deletion template, so that the public can at least know that some people are trying to delete it. Also, you should give much more than one day for the discussion to occur. Had you not acted rashly and turned the page into a redirect, I would have never come to known of this deletion attempt Thegreyanomaly (talk) 06:00, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

If the involved users want a deletion discussion, then we might as well give them a deletion discussion if this is what it boils down to (this is what the discussion at WT:VG is degenerating into, anyways). MuZemike 07:01, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

In addition, would you be willing to attempt to discuss things at a later date with Thegreyanomaly in order to attempt to both recognise each other's views and aims? After all, as I stated there, both of you appear to be users acting in good faith. If you would rather than the discussion was simply closed, feel free to say at my talkpage and it can be left to close, as it is unlikely that the discussion will gain any further comments now. The article Lego Batman: The Video Game change in Lego Batman: The Videogame

RobJ1981, you could arrange for the Article Lego Batman: The Video Game in Lego Batman: The Videogame changed? In the title are Video and Game namely together. Tim Auke Kools (talk) 13:01, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

This is re: List of DSiWare games and applications—In my edit summary where I reverted TJ Spyke's edit, I referred to Wikipedia: NOTBROKEN. The only thing that was changed in their edit to the article was that one link, and that is why I reverted it. There was no other purpose for their edit except to not use the redirect, which goes against that policy. A while back, there was a different contributor to the article who incessantly changed every single redirect link to point directly to the actual article, and it was during that time that I stopped really explaining myself and started just putting 'Wikipedia: NOTBROKEN' in my edit summary when reverting such edits. I apologize if my reason was unclear. :) -- Khisanth (talk) 16:29, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

"Your revert of 2009"

Reply to the following message which you left on my talk page

So why is an English footballer somehow notable, but a Japanese wrestler isn't? By your edit summary (Misawa is unknown outside of Japan, unless puroresu fans), Bobby Robson should be removed as well. I doubt many people outside of England have heard of him. The same could be said for many other people on the list. In my view, it's because it's a pro wrestler and people love to think wrestlers aren't notable. Yet... wrestlers have been featured articles, did you knows and much more on Wikipedia. RobJ1981 (talk) 16:50, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Bobby Robson has led England national football team to 1986 FIFA World Cup as a head coach, in which England was beaten by Argentine, or Diego Maradona, I should say. As I noted on Talk:2009, Misawa became well-known AFTER his death was reported widely. Not many people even know what Pro Wrestling Noah is, until then. Although the name Tiger Mask had more popularity in Japan, nobody other than puroresu fan knew that he was the 2nd "Tiger"--Belle Equipe (talk) 17:06, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
