Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~)
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put
{{My sandbox}}
on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.Speedy deletion nomination of Randy Mistrot
[edit]Hello Rmistrot,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Randy Mistrot for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Anir1uph | talk | contrib 10:26, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
Wikipedia is not for writing about yourself
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, but it is not a place like LinkedIn or Facebook for people to write about themselves. It is a quite different sort of site, a project to build an encyclopedia, so it is selective about subjects for articles, and writing about oneself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at Wikipedia is not about YOU and Wikipedia:Autobiography. The links in the Welcome message at the top of this page will tell you more about Wikipedia. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 10:35, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

Hello, the article you created Rene Beauregard House does not meet WP:Notability guidelines. If no sources are added to establish notability it may be proposed for deletion at any time.--Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 11:48, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
- If you can add a reliable source showing that the house is on the national historic register (as you mentioned in your edition summary), that would meet notability requirements, and you can remove the notability template, you may also remove it if you add other sources that cite the house and give an indication of why it is notable, alternatively If you can't provide either, you can open a debate on the talk page about the issue to see if other editors agree.--Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 21:23, 9 November 2014 (UTC)
Reference Errors on 7 November
[edit]Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:
- On the Rene Beauregard House page, your edit caused a broken reference name (help). (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:25, 8 November 2014 (UTC)
- Hello, I fixed the error by reverting the edits, please check the URL before adding it again, it did not seem to have any information about the house. If you find a good source, I suggest you try the Show preview before saving, if you are still having difficulties, you can ask me and I will be happy to help you do it.--Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 00:40, 8 November 2014 (UTC)
