JJ.Jarrett and Benjamin Footman
Why i like JJ.Jarrett and Benjamin Footman? — Preceding unsigned comment added by HaiSound (talk • contribs) 12:22, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
February 2018
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Ron Thal discography a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal discography. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Oriental metal
I don't disagree with your reversion on Sons of Apollo, because as you said, "oriental feel" does not mean oriental mental, and the genre of one song should not be taken to be representative of the band's whole sound. However, oriental metal is a genre—it's a regional sub-genre of Folk metal. See Folk metal#Oriental metal. Ss112 20:24, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
- Huh. Thanks. I listen to a lot of metal and honestly had never heard of it. Now I have some new bands to listen to.RF23 (talk) 14:52, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
Seth Rollins
I don't view my edits on Seth Rollins as disruptive. Frankly, I'm trying to keep information like length of time he used finishers relevant so I know when he used them. Why remove such useful information especially when it comes to his history? Nobody else has move history removed. --Evil Yugi (talk) 21:14, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- In reverting the edits you deleted a large chunk of info and references added to the article. Please use caution when reverting edits in the future. Also your edits are unsourced, there is a large push to remove any unsourced content in the moves and music section articles of wrestlers as a cleanup effort..RF23 (talk) 21:18, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- How is it unsourced though? It's all there in the Network, and you can use WWE.com if you need sources that bad. I don't get it. --Evil Yugi (talk) 21:22, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- That's not how Wikipedia works. You have to explicitly provide a reliable source for something. If you don't, it can be removed. RF23 (talk) 21:23, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- Isn't WWE.com enough of one? I mean what really qualifies as a reliable source for you people? Evil Yugi (talk) 21:32, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, however looking at your edits and glancing at Seth's wwe.com profile, none of the info regarding dates of moves is sourced in it. If you can find a source on the dates, feel free to add them back in. The Pro Wrestling Wikiproject has a page on reliable sources as they relate to pro-wrestling articles. The Miz and Dolph Ziggler
The Miz didn't put anything on the line vs Ziggler. It was his championship rematch match that was it, The Miz didn't had anything on the line in that match. Ale236 (talk) 21:04, 4 March 2018 (UTC)

Citations in NIN lead paragraph
Referring to this edit:
I understand why you would want to remove a few of the citations that address more broad topics already covered in the rest of the article, but shouldn't there be some (based off the Manual of Style) that identify more specific claims?
("The necessity for citations in a lead should be determined on a case-by-case basis by editorial consensus.") Topper13009 (talk) 01:26, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
Re-adding needed citations, which are most of them. Sorry. Feel free to fix what/if I messed up. Topper13009 (talk) 02:31, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
- the lead isn't supposed to have any original material, citations are generally added for controversial material that is frequently targed among editors or direct quotations. It simply isn't needed for other claims. Look at other feature articles like The Beatles, Nirvana, Courtney Love, Taylor Swift, Slayer, Elvis Presley, R.E.M. ect. All of them have very few if no citations in the lead. It's the way it's done. RF23 (talk) 02:57, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Ringerfan23: Ok, is there any way some of it could be added to the actual article with the sources attached? Topper13009 (talk) 03:26, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
- Everything in the lead is sourced in the article, and there aren't any unsourced claims. Any additional sources would be unnecessary.RF23 (talk) 03:29, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Thanks for the explanation, rather than just edit warring. Topper13009 (talk) 03:34, 7 April 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 14
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited One for the Kids, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Sean Mackin and Ocean Avenue (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Wrong infl
Dude I get what ur doing by Tracii never joined Hollywood Rose HES stated it himself also I don’t think it never reformed. ARMcgrath (talk) 10:28, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
- Provide a source then. If you continue to remove sourced content, that will be considered vandalism. From the sources provided already: from Allmusic: "and when lead guitarist Weber decided to split for New York City, mutual friend Tracii Guns briefly put his own L.A. Guns project on hold to lend a hand". from the blabbermouth source: "But did Tracii [Guns] play on any of those [early] demos? Chris Weber: "Not those demos at that time! He wasn't involved in HOLLYWOOD ROSE until much later. HOLLYWOOD ROSE started out as a band called AXL. And that was me, Izzy and Axl. Then the drummer and bass player came along afterwards. Then we changed the name of the band to ROSE and then it became HOLLYWOOD ROSE. That band stayed intact with me, Axl and Izzy and then the bass player and drummer. The bass player was never part of the band. He was just part of it when we were playing live. So it was just basically us three. Three leaders and then we had these other guys plying and Johnny was consitently our drummer. Then some time after that...I mean after I left, Tracii did join the band for a short period of time but I really don't know Tracii's story. He came after I left!"
RF23 (talk) 10:39, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
Sorry
I’m saying sorry for the edits. I still disagree that Hollywood Rose never reformed because of my actions. I present you this file. You can upload to the GNR Wikipedia page File:GNR 1985.jpg ARMcgrath (talk) 17:06, 19 April 2018 (UTC)

Help
Okay I want to ask you a question. How do you actually put descriptions in Wikipedia pages and also. How do you get the information. Let me know, I’m trying to put a description on Tracii Guns influences but I need the description and I know where it is but don’t know how to do it. Like give me an article on it. I would appreciate it.
Thanks ARMcgrath 👍🏻👍🏻 ARMcgrath (talk) 02:22, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- I assume you're talking about references. Wikipedia:Citing sources has a guideline to them, but the easy version is this:
1. find the url to reference (for example reference1.com)
2. Copy and paste the reference into brackets with a title of the webpage inside of it. [www.reference1.com like this]
3. Put reference tags <ref></ref> on the outside of the link, so <ref>[www.reference1.com like this]</ref>
4. that's pretty much it for the easy way. If you did everything correctly, they citations will show up at the botttom of the page, provided a {{references}} tag is placed at the bottom of the article (most articles already have these). Make sure the citations you're using are Reliable sources, as not everything on the internet is. RF23 (talk) 05:09, 22 April 2018 (UTC)
Okay I get it but it’s hard I read what you said to me in conversation earlier today and yes your assumption was correct but also references was that I was also asking. Thanks for the advice 👍🏻👍🏻 ARMcgrath (talk) 19:50, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
Template
I did a template on the L.A. Guns Page I found a article from 4 years ago about Jagoszs death. But I sorta messed it up but it’s my first time doing it. So I’m trying to make it a reference as well ARMcgrath (talk) 21:35, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
Scars On Broadway
hello. is the official music video from the official youtube channel of scars on broadway (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsmmQ1EqSIc) that has the band members in description, is not considered a reliable source? then what is a reliable source?
- That video only lists the performers in the music video. There is no Reliable Source that indicates a touring lineup (or plans to tour for that matter) at this time. Also, even though it's the official video, Youtube videos are generally not considered proper sources.RF23 (talk) 11:18, 25 April 2018 (UTC)
Wrong
Man I really need to stop proving you wrong all the time ARMcgrath (talk) 02:48, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- @ARMcgrath: You might want to stop being a jerk. I've been there and looking back, it serves no purpose. Gloating is not going to get you anywhere. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 19:44, 7 May 2018 (UTC)
Adam Cole's reign as NXT Tag Team Champion is not recognized, so it should not be listed as a title reign in his accomplishments. It can be mentioned in his biography though. It took WWE only a week to make up their minds; it's not like they stopped recognizing it years later.WrestlingLegendAS (talk) 22:41, 27 April 2018 (UTC)
Question
Good to see you doing well and editing like an expert. But anyways I’m asking. If I’m able to redo Jagosz entire page for references and his life I’ve been wanting to do it for sometime now but I suck at creating references unfortunately. ARMcgrath (talk) 01:12, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
- Jagosz very likely doesn't meet the notability requirements for a wiki article, unfortunately. RF23 (talk) 17:15, 1 May 2018 (UTC)

Violation?
I stopped using the pic from the set of Reign as I understand how that might be interpreted as a violation. I have been posting my pic from Dragon Con as a compromise. My opinion is that the pics from Wonder Con are not flattering to Mr. Croasdell. Is there a reason you prefer those pics? My apologies for not reaching out sooner for a resolution. I am also not a he. Thank you Sbearfi1 (talk) 02:17, 4 May 2018 (UTC)
Problem
On Ole Beichs Page is the false information that Axl Rose was in the band before Jagosz this is false how do I correct the edit without deleting any sources I don’t even want to try because of the delectable sources. ARMcgrath (talk) 03:56, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- I updated it for you. The Allmusic biography had the details incorrect, I added the source in which had the correct timeline.RF23 (talk) 04:10, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
Thanks but Jagosz was arrested following a bar fight which was why he left I’ll get that source and update it ARMcgrath (talk) 04:18, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
Adam Cole
I seen your edit and I am not sure what you are wanting to do with the note. It's fine as is. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 19:36, 7 May 2018 (UTC)
- Like how you can make a reference have multiple instances of the same one with <cite "name" />, is that possible with notes? The note is repeated twice in the section and it'd look cleaner if it was just there once.RF23 (talk) 02:35, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
Blocked
If I do get my punishment tomorrow I need to say that I left a message on the GNR member edit history . Also I was sorta outta of control with the uploads despite that I had no idea loudwire and several websites were entirely copyrighted even if I get the original credit. I know the damage is done. But I’m also saying I surrender my white flag. In the air. ARMcgrath (talk) 01:25, 8 May 2018 (UTC)

He really needs to take a better look at that image. Joe Strummer is definitely on the left. I've seen the Clash a couple of times (big deal), but you need to look at Joe's ears in that image. Also, please note the guitar. Joe, on the left, is playing. Anyway, good luck. Cam

Chronology
(Your notice asks editors to edit the talk pages of the relevant articles, not your own talk page, but as this applies to several pages, I decided to come here...)
I see you've changed the chronology field of several Radiohead infoboxes to only cover studio albums. As far as I know, the consensus for this field is to include all releases, not just releases of a particular type. Is there some other guideline or consensus I should know about? Popcornduff (talk) 14:41, 17 May 2018 (UTC)
- I was told (after having changes of mine reverted on several Guns N' Roses articles) that the consensus is to only include studio albums. I searched to try and find discussion but couldn't find anything. (paging @DannyMusicEditor:, who reverted my changes.) I've seen it done both ways on multiple pages so I'm not sure if there ever was a consensus. RF23 (talk) 14:53, 17 May 2018 (UTC)
- It's funny, because I used to think the consensus was to do it the way you're doing it now, and someone told me otherwise, so I went around the Radiohead pages fixing it. The last discussion I can find was some time ago, but the prevailing consensus seemed (I think?) to have it cover all releases: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Template_talk:Infobox_album/Archive_6#Chronology Popcornduff (talk) 15:00, 17 May 2018 (UTC)
- If it's the way it is above, I'm not a fan of that idea. Just throwing it out there in case the discussion comes to that. dannymusiceditor oops 15:05, 17 May 2018 (UTC)
- It's probably worth bringing up on the talk page since it's been so long that it was discussed. RF23 (talk) 15:07, 17 May 2018 (UTC)
- What we could do is set up something like two chronologies for different setups, like X&Y has. dannymusiceditor oops 15:08, 17 May 2018 (UTC)
- That's a really good idea. I'm in favor of that, that way it includes both in an easy to navigate way. RF23 (talk) 15:09, 17 May 2018 (UTC)

- Generally speaking, Instagram is not a reliable source. WP:SELFPUB makes exception to social media if the source in question is from the subject themselves. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:30, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
Expiation
I’ll explain the exact reason I put Izzy on the L.A. Guns timeline. You and I both know that GNR came from two bands L.A. Guns and Hollywood Rose. So Technically If Tracii Rob and Ole Joined Hollywood Rose than Izzy Joined L.A. Guns because GNR came from 2 bands I hope this actually makes sense. Happy Wiki. Also in the next edit I’ll make sure to make more visible for you to see ARMcgrath (talk) 23:44, 22 May 2018 (EST)
- Yeah, no. that's not how that works at all. Izzy Stradlin was never in L.A. Guns. He was in Hollywood Rose and Guns N' Roses. Your logic is flawed.RF23 (talk) 05:06, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
Hey um I get Axl in theat band forc2 weeks but when you see it. It’s pretty much looks like that Jagosz had s long term ARM (talk 04:26 23 May 2018 (UTC)
I have 3 sources that does prove that Izzy Joined LA Guns to become GNR. If you remember I never cited anything when I started and I was a punk (still can be at times) I did want to show you them from this user talk also. I should warn you that there is more articles with Tracii stating that Izzy Joined LA Guns to become GnR that do exist and about Hollywood Rose. Well the band did reunite but it was a New Year’s Eve party In 1984 but the citations are already on OLE AND ROBBIES pages for a long time I would like to change it from what the actual citation which is a biography about Axl. Here are the three citations I chose

Hope you them RF23 and happy Wiki ARM 17:48 30 May 2018 (EST) ARMcgrath (talk) 21:48, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
- none of those sources mention Izzy as having ever been in L.A. Guns. L.A. Guns ceased to exist the second they merged with Hollywood Rose and became Guns N' Roses.RF23 (talk) 22:03, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
- Absolutely Weird as I speak to you about this. I do think that it’s mostly best to leave Izzy the way it is. But I’m going to find more sources about Tracii never Joining Hollywood Rose. Anyways happy Wiki

Hey I’m trying to do some edits on Oles page for a reference it’s the one where i told you that Izzy Joined LA Guns(in short I’m that argument out the window) but my problem is when I told you about Tracii never Joining Hollywood Rose but I don’t know how to move the references into different places. Can you actually explain how it works and if you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks and Happy Wiki. (ARM) 16:58, 2 June 2018 (EST)

Incorrect edit - The Guns and Roses show in Jacksonville, FL in 1987.
This show was on November 27th, not November 26th. I'm not sure why you reverted my edit. I was at the show, and so were some of my friends. Revert your changes to my correct edit promptly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.47.109.4 (talk) 05:38, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
- Please provide a Reliable Source that the date is incorrect. It is currently sourced through several show listings as the listed date. RF23 (talk) 05:46, 2 June 2018 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Ringerfan23. An edit that you recently made to Loot box seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, please use the sandbox. The edit was NOT a mistake or testing. I was providing actual facts which the page was incorrectly written. However I wasn't going to put the time in to write up the specifics in a uniform coherent paragraph. Rather I left the facts for someone else to take and re-write. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.153.124.110 (talk) 06:36, 5 June 2018 (UTC)

A potential L.A. Guns EP page
Hey RF23 nice to talk to you again I saw that the other LA guns EP pages don’t have references or enough info for a page like their cuts EP I want to make a entire page of those 5 EPS what do you think of the idea. Thanks and Happy Wiki ARMcgrath (talk) 01:32, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
- It's best to just redirect them to appropriate articles. In the past, users have tried to do that kind of thing (the compile non-notable info into one giant page) and it's almost always been deleted. RF23 (talk) 01:35, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
Okay I see what your saying on your part. I mean your more experienced than I am on this platform okay I’ll leave that potential out that window.ARM (talk) 01:35, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
Okay I tried what you did yesterday which was like redirecting the Collectors Edition Page into the Hollywood Raw. I found that The Holiday Foreplay into a page I tried that because the EP page had no article so if I did this to the right article. Thanks for the advice btw your a great help when it comes to learning thingsARM (talk) 01:50, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
Chinese Democracy
Hello, Ringerfan23. This is a courtesy notice that the copy edit you requested for Chinese Democracy at the Guild of Copy Editors requests page is now complete. All feedback welcome! Cheers, Baffle gab1978 22:36, 10 June 2018 (UTC) |
- I removed two sets of oversized images from the article because as they were, I don't think they really help the reader understand the text. You might find them useful individually to illustrate lower sections without images though, so I've left the code on the article's talk page. I also removed some rather waffly quotations; see page history. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 22:36, 10 June 2018 (UTC)

Some suggestions for Igorrr
Hello there,
Check out the additions I've made to Draft:Igorrr. I've moved some sentences around a bit to better match with the sections. Also, have you looked at the French version of the article? They seem to have a larger discography for him somehow. Potasmic (talk) 04:25, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
