WHAT do you have against resonators?! I think they're perfectly neutral! But I suppose I can't really cite my modification, so I'll leave it at that if you disagree.
Thanks, I admire your concern for the wikicommunity, but I still disagree.

Wow! You're really on to me. How did you stumble upon Cebidae so quickly? Now I really am intrigued (and yes I'll stop). Can you view the pages I've edited recently? What really gets me is how you saw my first modification to guitar. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zen & the art of idiocy (talk • contribs)
Wow, thanks for the info! You've been very kind to me as a noob. Are you just a normal contibutor to wiki or are you a specially promoted person? I think I see the way it works; people who choose articles to watch are automatically notified about changes to those articles. So are you a guitar afficianado?Zen & the art of idiocy07:38, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I can't see anyone in their right mind accusing you of anything untoward for unblocking yourself, especially when the same user has blocked (amongst others) Jimmy, Danny(isme) and Raul654, and deleted/vandalised the main page. WP:COMMON :) Daniel Bryant10:28, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I propose we make a new Wikipedia space page: No Drama. We can use that image you have at the top. It can be a really simplistic and succinct page. I'm sure you agree that WikiDrama needs to go. — Deckiller12:25, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'd tagged about a dozen images uploaded by the user for deletion. There was a bit of a misunderstanding about which images PD covers. The user then figured out what went wrong, and the remaining images were deleted.
These were left out however, and I couldn't figure why. Could you have a look at them whenever you're free?
Apologies if this seems a little random, I've seen your name everywhere and it just seemed that you were(are?) online right now, so I thought I'd bother you :)
Sweet little Riana, dropping you a line is long overdue, and thanks to my little treasure who has let me sleep a meagre hour and a half, I'll take the opportunity to write to you until she falls asleep... that, if "I" don't fall over the keyboard before that! What I really, really wanted you to know is that reading you was incredibly special to me, and that I plan to write you a longer email as soon as I possibly can. Although indirectly, our paths have crossed before (you think I missed your extremely-utterly-long-with-flags-included entry at my Wiki-soundtrack page? Nay nay, sis! ;) and I've seen your name associated with great, thoughtful and kind edits - that's more than I can ever ask to call somebody a friend. So know that I do notice your excellent work, and that you should definitely keep an eye on your mailbox - just let me try and get a liiiiitle sleep before, k? Have an awesome day! Love, Phaedriel - 14:03, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hehe! I have 2 actually, but the older one is only a year younger than me. I shudder when I think about what my poor mum had to put up with, though, with the two of us running around... (er, what she still has to put up with actually...) – Rianaऋ14:27, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Your mom had it easy Riana, mine had to have another one at the same time she had me! Thank God it was a girl and not another boy. :P — $PЯINGrαgђ 14:30, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Heh, you're right, two boys would have been horrible! When I was younger I always wished I was one of a pair of twins, and one day I told my mum that... she looked at me and said 'You don't love me at all, do you.' :p – Rianaऋ14:32, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, sorry. I'm new to VP and have been trying to do good to Wikipedia after my autograph incident. Thank you for being friendly and not snapping at me! I appreciate it! If you need anything contact me! WikiMan53(talk)(sign?) 14:48, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
PS: Did I give a warning to the appropriate edit? I thought it was for sure vandalism. WikiMan53(talk)(sign?)14:51, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You have just blocked yet another abusive sockpuppet who has been abusing me across wikipedia. As the edit summary, you wrote "more roland rance nonsense". I would appreciate if you could amend this summary, which makes it appear that I have been perpetrating such nonsense. Thanks RolandR14:49, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Roland, my apologies for that. Hopefully the amended block message is less likely to cause grief. Thanks, – Rianaऋ14:51, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Too early for me to be up still! I'll clear this AIV backlog and then I'm outta here... luckily I'm still on Easter holidays :) – Rianaऋ16:35, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you can edit js files (and were only kidding about the replacement of my monobook with poop), could you add this:
var cat = window.prompt("Please categorize your nomination: M: Media and music; O: Organisation, company, or product;
B: Biographical; S: Society; W: Web/Internet; G: Games/Sport; T: Science/Technology; F: Fiction and the arts;
P: Places or transportation; I: Unclassifiable; ?: Unsure");
if (!cat)
cat="U";
It should, I tested it in my userspace first :P Can I ask you to do another addition? |cat='+cat+' needs to be added to the end of the "template" on the last line of that function for it to work, otherwise the above addition is a bit useless. I clicked on the Main Page the other day and it got vandalised by User Robdurbar
I think that this user is a administratior.
I thought administratiors where suppose to be trusted wikipedians.
Do you think?
I have a question? Who can block a administratior indefintly?
They can unblock themselfs which can be very harmful to wikipedia.
Was that user who vandalised the Main Page was a administrator? KingLopezContribs09:00, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, Robdurbar was an administrator at the time of the vandalism. However, we are unsure whether it was actually him who made the vandalism, or his account was hacked by a vandal. He was emergency deopped 13 minutes after the original vandalism, detaining any further acts. You can view the full threat here. Thanks. Michaelas1009:24, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I've given the Tarragon Support [1] . I didn't even know it existed until I linked it. It's nice to know I can count on you Riana.
I like how you were blocked. Just when I thought this place was becoming predictable! We should have some sort of crazy lottery and whoever gets drawn out gets a kiss from Jimbo, a bottle of Wine and an indefinite block. Oh, and a topless Tuesday thing.
Hey, maybe! :) I'm pretty damn busy, and currently dealing with the police regarding a customer that spat in my eye recently, so I don't have much time for Wikipedia at the moment.. but I'm working on it. Hopefully, I'll become less lame soon. How go things for you, though? -- Daveydweeb (chat/review!) 09:39, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Heh, he'd been banned from the store for months, and I ordered him out only to feel a splot of wet goo land remarkably close to my eye (he was incredibly accurate at two metres' range). On the other hand, I strongly suspect he was dropped as a child, considering that he was stupid enough to do it in front of two live security cameras. And hey, wanna interview Jimmy for WW? >_> Damn you for meeting him! A skype group chat just isn't the same. And I should really get back into uni sleeping habits, but I don't wanna... -- Daveydweeb (chat/review!) 11:34, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If you just record the whole meeting, sans interview, that'd still be awesome. Albeit slightly creepy. ;) I'm planning to quit this particular job as soon as possible -- my other job, in childcare, has a favourable habit of actually paying me on time -- so the spit-to-the-eye is thankfully off my horizon for the near future. And now, bed time. I have to open the shop early tomorrow morning... Nighty night! -- Daveydweeb (chat/review!) 11:57, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Nice work! As you know I'm currently on a MUCH needed wikibreak, however, should you need some guidance in the interim may I strongly suggest Daniel, Sarah, Riana and Luna - all very friendly and VERY helpful admins :) Enjoy! Glen17:36, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. You asked for some feedback on your page protections, so here I am. There were a few cases where you protected when I would not have done so myself, such as Madness, but I do not oppose their protection. The protection policy doesn't set specific limits of vandalism for the reason that some leeway is allowed. Others, I heartily endorse. Something like this though, I would advise you to think about before doing, because not only had it not been edited for a good two hours. I guess the reason I'm so unwilling to sprotect sometimes is because I remember when it was created, specifically to deal with vandalism to George W. Bush, which gets vandalised more when its sprotected than a lot of articles do when unprotected. It was originally only intended for these extreme cases. I do agree with the current scope of the policy, but I'd ask you consider that whenever you sprotect. Thanks, and sorry for being somewhat patronising. --Deskana(fry that thing!)18:33, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just telling you that my RfA was successful (closing at 68/12/8). Now it's all over, I feel I should explain that I was intending to take your advice and wait another month, but I had two offers of nomination, and felt I should take the opportunity. In light of your previous advice I understand why you didn't support, and I wanted to thank you for not opposing. I will take all your advice on board. Thanks much, Riana, for the reply on my Talk page in regards to the prior vandalism I saw on the Nazism article. Thanks for finding exactly where it was (i.e., in a template) and reverting it! Take care! —Catdude19:42, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your support in my not-so-recent RfA, which succeeded with a final tally of (97/4/4)! I've never been able to accept compliments gracefully, and the heavy support from this outstanding community left me at a complete loss for words -- so, a very belatedthank you for all of your kind words.
I have done and will continue to do the utmost to serve the community in this new capacity, wherever it may take me, and to set an example others might wish to follow in. With a little luck and a lot of advice, this may be enough. Maybe someday the enwiki admins of the future will look back and say, "Yeah, that guy was an admin." Hopefully then they don't start talking about the explosive ArbComm case I got tied into and oh what a drama that was, but we'll see, won't we?
Surely some of you have seen me in action by now; with that in mind, I openly invite and welcome any feedback here or here -- help me become the best editor and sysop I can be.
Hi Riana, I wanted to ask you if you minded being notified of e-mail. I do it as a courtesy for people who may have more than one account, so that they can check it as needed. I understand that not everybody feels that way, so I wanted to check and be sure. Thanks. --Kyoko01:46, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
OK, thanks. I'm playing with revising my userpage, so please tell me what you think (in about 10 minutes or so). --Kyoko01:55, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I just finished the revision. I like your new userpage, and the tiny Wdefcon looks awfully familiar. I've never tried playing with my message bars. What do you think of the poem at the bottom of my page? Is it poignant, or uplifting, or just offensive? I'll remove it if you feel it's offensive. --Kyoko02:11, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I like the poem, but I was a bit concerned at how others might read it. When I get around to it, I plan on checking if the Wdefcon memos can also be added in a small form. --Kyoko02:19, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, see you both there (unless I sleep through it, which is still somewhat probable given my distaste for early risings)!--cj | talk14:51, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It was lovely to see all the Adelaidean folk! It's nice to have faces to put to usernames. I look forward to the next rendezvous – so long as it's not a morning. Happy editing, --cj | talk01:33, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm very disappointed that I live in a different state and couldn't meet you guys, but I hope you all took lots of photos to share with us poor east coast folk. :) Sarah07:54, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think Alex Sims may have taken a few, but it was pretty dark so I don't know how well they'll turn out! Waiting in anticipation :) – Rianaऋ07:54, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I shall wait with baited breath! I saw Michael's picture with Jimbo but that just left me wanting more! MORE! MORE I TELL YOU!! And CJ's comment above about "rendezvous" sounds very intriguing and exciting. I think I might have to move to Adelaide so I can partake in a Wikipedia Rendezvous! (I think WP meetups should officially be renamed Wikipedia Rendevous) Sarah08:00, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, yeah, rendezvous is probably more accurate anyway. I wasn't joking about the darkness, we were all dressed in cloaks, our faces lit from below by candlelight, sipping cappucino and talking about how much we ♥ the cabal. – Rianaऋ08:04, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I swear, those haunted-house-style candles didn't give great light, but they only added to the cabalistic, "underground" setting :) By the way, I believe the new-and-improved Adelaide Cabal have a couple of RfA candidates to deal with over the next week or two... [double edit conflict! Riana must be popular…] I like it (naturally). My full name doesn't have an article, probably because it has two fs. Dropping one gives a long list. — $PЯINGrαgђ 01:01, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've been thinking about it this summer. I've been quite busy lately as is visible in my contributions this month, but now that school and work is mostly over for the summer -- I'll have time to seriously looking into developing as an editor. I still feel unready for adminship and have a lot to learn but maybe later closer to the summer I'll be prepared. Thanks for the offer in the meantime. Mkdwtalk02:07, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey! The pngs of the television and flags don't need to be categorised as there are SVGs (I usually don't include both in cats; avoids confusion about which version to use); the map one I've categorised for you, only needed one more category :) — Editor atLarge(speak)02:25, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Gah. Which is used, the jpeg or the png? PNG is preferable over jpeg because it has a transparent background, and svg is preferable over png because it is infinitely scaleable with no pixellation. However if the image is too large png's take forever to load so you want a jpeg instead, and if the image is supposed to have a transparent background and is used a lot of places (like Image:Cquote1.png, which has a few thousand uses) the png, which has been tweaked to show up with a transparent background in IE6, is preferable. SO. It depends on what the image is being used for and, of course, the quality of the image itself as an svg/png is not always identical to the png/jpeg. And... um. Sorry for the long rant... — Editor atLarge(speak)15:02, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the user talk page revert. It looks like he was after some revenge from when I warned him a few days ago about his continuous vandalism. Extranet(Talk | Contribs)06:16, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's boring, but it's actually really easy compared to the other image deletions (no need to orphan deleted images) - I can't figure out why the backlog's so massive! But thanks for noticing :) I'm tired of this place for the day, so I'm out, but I'll attack a few more on the weekend, try to get the backlog down to single digits... – Rianaऋ07:44, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I did "two days" worth of Commons ones. It's no-brainer stuff & have to say, it's nice to be able to delete the category after a run. And nobody ever complains that you deleted 'their' stuff. Catch ya later! 'night :) - Alison☺07:48, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I seem to recall that we have collaborated on some page over the past few years, but I am afraid I don't remember where. I noticed today your posting on AN/I where you say "I'm not denying there are civility problems, POV problems, even some tendentious editing - but this is pretty extreme." I just thought you might like to have a look at some evidence of the sort of tendentiousness that Bakasuprman in particular produced: I collected, last December, a small subset of his edits, limited to his dealings with me prior to his sending me on wikibreak on November 15. Remember, this is only him talking to me, and it was months ago. Since then he has only gotten worse, believing the fact that HKelkar was banned but he wasnt was a certification of his behaviour. I, and others, have repeatedly noted that he is the single most tenacious threat to the project active today. I'd say this ban has the complete support of the informed community.
