Hi Mauro, your tests worked. Please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for practise next time. Don't mess up the article pages. Thanks.--Jondel 00:57, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is Third world encyclopedic? Does it help anybody?--Jondel 01:24, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ferdinand Magellan is Portuguese. Also, please stop wiki-linking when they are not related to the article, such as what you did with "active" on the Philippines article. Howard the Duck | talk, 03:43, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Why are you adding that line? Thanks. El_C 03:35, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted the following edits to Kofi Annan:link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. AmiDaniel (Talk) 10:34, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And yet another line: link. Please tell me why you are adding these lines or I will continue to revert them. AmiDaniel (Talk) 10:36, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edits

[edit]

You have been making some edits recently that could be seen as vandalism, unless you are able to explain why you made them. Therefore please use edit summaries, article talk pages (tab labeled discussion), and do not revert other editors unless you have a good reason (explained on the talk page). Also please be aware of the three revert rule. Petros471 21:07, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Freedom House

[edit]

Please stop changing the Philippines' results in the survey to values which aren't the ones FH reported. This is considered vandalism around here, and if you keep doing it, you will be banned. Whatever your opinion is on the accuracy of the survey is irrelevant: the article is about Freedom House and has to state correctly what their views are. ~J.K. 02:59, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:GloriaMacapagal-Arroyo.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rory096(block) 20:45, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:GloriaMacapagal-Arroyo.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rory096(block) 20:45, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Overlinking

[edit]

I believe you are linking too many common words in Wikipedia. Please see Wikipedia:Only make links that are relevant to the context which among other things states:

  • "Only make links that are relevant to the context."
  • "It is not useful and can be very distracting to mark all possible words as hyperlinks."
  • " What should not be linked: Plain English words."

Blocked

[edit]

As you've been warned countless times about your unhelpful behaviour regarding articles, but have not heeded your warnings, I have indefinitely blocked you from editing Wikipedia. You may put {{unblock}} on this page if you think the block is unfair, and another admin will come along to review it. NSLE (T+C) at 00:48 UTC (2006-05-14)

Unspecified source for Image:GloriaMacapagalArroyo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:GloriaMacapagalArroyo.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:11, 4 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 00:11, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree File:Flag of ASEAN.svg

[edit]

You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you object to the listing for any reason. Thank you. Magog the Ogre (tc) 15:15, 2 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
