Ducky and Blackrat

[edit]

Hi RWB&Y,

I'm a longtime researcher of the Krazy Kat cartoons and comics. I notice you're the person who made a Wiki page for the 1927 short RAIL RODE. In it, you summarize the cartoon quite accurately, but refer to Krazy Kat's "pal Ducky" and "rival Blackrat."

From the copyright synopsis, I know that these characters are actually Krazy's comic strip co-stars Ms Kwak Wak and Ignatz (oddly rendered with black fur), but where did you get the alternate names? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ramapith (talkcontribs) 16:24, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I guessed you're right. My apologies for any errors in the article. I saw the short but I only know the title character. If there are any flaws in the page, you can correct them if you like. Thanks for the info. Red White Blue and Yellow (talk) 05:54, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

July 2023

[edit]

Hello, I'm FooBarBaz. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Kiff (TV series) seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. foobarbaz 20:35, 26 July 2023 (UTC)

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:34, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Rockoons

[edit]

Hello Red White Blue and Yellow, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Rockoons, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rockoons.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Dclemens1971}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

All Japan Championship (pool)

[edit]

Tournament Results(59)- - Billiard Walker (billi-walker.jp)

this website is where all the information has been taken from and the history of the All Japan Championship and Japan Open tournament.

Do not revert or change my edits, it took an extreme amount of research and effort, if you would like you can cite this website as a source, thank you. Leed3193 (talk) 13:27, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I checked the website you provided here. However, I don’t find any pre-2000 results of the All Japan Championship. Red White Blue and Yellow (talk) 17:07, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I contacted the publisher of the website and he gave me the winners and runners up from when the tournament began in 1967. It would be ashame the delete history from the books prior to 2000s, and all the achievements of those players. Leed3193 (talk) 13:28, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose you’re right. But keep in mind that Wikipedia is more about verifiability than fact. Considering that there does not seem to be any openly published info regarding the pre-2000 results of the All Japan Championships online or any media, the inclusion of the stuff in the article will likely be questioned. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Crush Gear Turbo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CGI. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
